Hi, could we get precise information on board dimensions and component placements? (at least the asics).

I am going to watercool them and if I know the measures with precission I would have a lot in fittings and use soldered copper pipe that I already have and just 2 fittings per board.

Also it would help for making cases/stacking them/planning the space needed.

Thanks.

A decent hires top down photo with camera close to 90 degree above board, and a ruler laid over two asics could do it. Camera as high as possible and use zoom to reduce parallax.

All board dimensions could then be derived to ~mm accuracy in a paint program.

P.S. I'm impressed with your ( get it done ) watercool plan. If I didn't have all my fans on hand I would consider doing the same, I would probably buy $10 copper waterblocks on ebay though ($480  Shocked) as I only have a hand drill. And then hit up a junk yard for radiator and hoses.

With thick hoses through a window (or multiple thin through wall holes) you could run the radiator outside in shade in the summer (completely silent rig) and bring it inside in the winter, hmmm very nice!

Im sure we will start mining before B1 direct BA costumers will get their miners..

Its a big shame on BA if this will become reality

does will marto contact us before shipping so we could change or confirm shipping address and make a deal about payment method..?

Have you made a account on Technobit's website with the preferred delivery address chap to aid Marto in getting the right delivery location when he contacts us for paying for the shipping.

To those from Batch 1 that received a PM saying chips were sent to Technobit (Black Arrow direct orders) that did not contact BA and specifically request your chips be converted / confirm that you wanted your order to be converted. Do so now.

If you didn't confirm with Black Arrow you wanted the chips, the chips were not sent and Marto has been advised of this.

Only 5 people have confirmed with BA and there are 8 total people who received PM's, even tho you got the PM from me that they were sent they were not I will attempt to contact those people this weekend.
I'm surprised there wasn't a higher take up from CrapArrow direct customers to be honest (and thanks for letting us in again!). I was one, and i've double checked my sent items on the 14th July they had confirmation from me so hopefully I'm all set! I'm slightly nervous in case BA somehow managed to balls up receiving my confirmation though..

If you responded to the email you are all set, I checked with them yesterday.

May i ask why? It seems watercooling would be overly expensive/tedious and wouldn't pay off in hashrate.

It is a missconception that watercooling would be expensive, it only is when you buy overpriced computer cooling components. I am making the waterblocks myself with a drillpress and copper bar, it is a bitch to drill and if the shape is complex it can take quite a bit of time and skill but fortunatelly even a straight drill performs relativelly well. You can also use aluminium, it would cost almost nothing, easy to drill and it would still outperform most aircoolers.

There is also an economy of scale, I am going to use a single 10000L/h pump (costs about the same as pumps meant for computer cooling) and a big car radiator. Also instead of a ton of fans I will place the radiator over an extractor fan and that would also remove the problem of heat buildup in the room.

In the end it will be cheaper than air heatsinks and perform beter.

water cooling would be a smaller footprint I believe rather than 4 large heat pipe coolers I did consider it myself Smiley

250x300x20 mm is with bottom heatsink mounted
in the height 20 you add 25 mm for the bottom fan , then some gap , then the height of your cooler
the Arctic freezer 7 pro we use is 127 mm high
