I'm with Genesis Mining who are proving themselves legit and I'm using my sig payments so I can get a passive income, I haven't got ROI but what will happen is I'll eventually get enough hashing power that I can get 1 megahash a week so any increase will pay for itself, it's just a matter of doing your research like with anything.

A lot of these companies are sadly just operating ponzis under the guise of cloudmining, so you've got to do your research. If they can't provide sufficient evidence of mining hardware then they're a scam. You could still make money from them but remember they can go bust or scam you at any time.

There's a whole list here or legit and scammy cloud mining companies with people posting information about it: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/advice-for-new-users-regarding-cloud-mining-739510

For what it's worth, I'm buying hashing with Genesis Cloud Mining and I haven't had any problems with them.

How much do you pay and how much money do you make back? Ws wondering if it's worth it for me.

theres some people who question pbmining in the service announcements because of no disclosure of a physical facility.

but people been getting paid every sunday as always. its been a year i think, so regardless i think its pretty safe.

but there are some ponzi schemes who are able to operate for 1yr though.

are you sure pbmining is that legit? i was searching this forum trying to decide where to invest and it seems that although they have been around for while they are one of the least transparent ones, like compared to cex, genesis-mining, zeushash, gaw and others.. ..cant decide.. I know very little about cloud mining services, but I was just reading another thread on the subject, and among other things, the user jimmothy was presenting evidence PBMining was at one point paying mining earnings from new costumers' payments:

Taken from the thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/are-hashlets-worth-it-835464.

I'm not sure I'd jump to the conclusion they are a ponzi scheme based on that alone, but I'd certainly think twice before investing there.

there are scams following cryptocominer and the legit ones, like GAWs and others

Don't blame the legits for the scammy ones

well cryptocominer was an obvious scam from the start. I cant believe some people invested $1,000 even if its so freaking easy to spot

You will be fine if you just be cautious. Obviously choose big companies with established position on market and you will be good. If cloud mining company is new, small, does not have full address or some information are missing from the site be wary.

I just noticed this and i think most of them are disguised ponzi schemes
i wouldnt trust any without proof of mining hardware and hashpower, there are some who run away with the user's bitcoin after getting coins from user.

That's normal, it happens everywhere. The more players, the cheaper everything will be. That's how free markets work.

Mining services battle with each other to offer the best rates, customers will benefit from that  Cheesy
