But I can't post the line above with double "//" instead of just one "/". Cloudflare  Cry
I think this is called the Browser Integrity Check, where the weird activity of any bad IP TOR as example that is trying to access */admin.php is checked, or sometimes some usual activity of bots or spammers, so PM them about this problem, or host the code in an external host and copy Link or screenshot.

https://developers.cloudflare.com/waf/tools/browser-integrity-check/

This description is more accurate, as other than the CAPTCHA problem, which can be bypassed using code, I have not had any problems with Tor.

I read link you mentioned, but it said "looks for common HTTP headers" though. AFAIK our post data is send through something called HTTP body.

--snip--
I don't know the solution will work for you or not but I have done that on Tor in past when the website wasn't accessible due to cloudflare's issue. I have basically forced Tor to use France based IP addresses and the site worked well with France based IP's for me. I then created a topic to share the whole thing so that someone else using Tor may get help by applying the settings that worked for me.

Here's the link of the thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.62527806

Does country of the IP address matter here? CloudFlare can easily detect whether you use Tor or not through many means (such as list about IP of Tor exit node).

If admin make forum webpage with TOR address in the hosting webserver, problem will be solved. You can go through TOR browser directly to the forum.

So just to remain anonymous people prefer to use TOR but honestly, I don't think TOR is enough, and secondly, we face a lot of problems while using BTT on TOR. I lastly read a topic about TOR in which people were facing issues using TOR. And after reading that thread I got to know the importance of TOR and gave it a try but on my side, the Captcha loop started. (I think the topic from which I was motivated was also facing the same issue, Actually, I tried TOR after some time of reading that thread).

Tor browser completely hide your IP and your data will be secured. Most of people using Tor browser  to secure data from the reach of government. Tor has special type of Onion router, enough to hide online activity.

OP wanted to use Tor browser because we are talking about payment and cryptocurrency in this forum and very risky to use without tor in countries where crypto is restricted. I faced captcha problem by using free VPN also. I haven't used Bitcointalk in Tor browser because its slower than normal browser.

I do not think that the problem is the IP location problem as much as it is (activity of any bad IP) TOR as example. Therefore, I expect that this problem will reach some Tor or VPN addresses, even if they are in France, because of unusual activity of that IP + some keywords.

The time out doesn't take long and my text is gone.
I tried 3 times, same result.

Edit: Cloudflare lets me post this.

Edit: I tried again: I can Preview, but can't create a topic on the Electrum board.

This is pretty common problem when using tor here on bitcointalk considering the forum uses cloudflare.

All you can do is try again and again, although you can wait for the tor users on what remedy they are using.

The user's who prefer privacy will always use Tor on Bitcointalk or any other website. I personally don't care about Tor but that's the main reason why people use Tor. Those users don't want to be tracked by Cloudflare and want to be anonymous would use Tor to browse any site. I know that Bitcointalk is really unstable on Tor but still if someone uses it then it's their own choice.

Why use TOR at the first place anyway? Can't you use normally? I never used TOR. So I never faced anything like that.
People use TOR for various concerns to their privacy, anonymity, security against bugging and you can't question their wisdom in doing so.

Sometimes I would get random time outs or verification failed but not that you got.
The random time outs are common to all forum members using a normal browser like chrome, except for a newbie that might be experiencing it for the first time will get worried over it.

Using TOR to access the forum is normal, not abnormal. Satoshi Nakamoto always use TOR in Bitcointalk so is Satoshi Nakamoto an abnormal user?

I didn't said it was abnormal  Tongue. But some users new or old doesn't matter, aren't that concern about their privacy.  I have seen many people who doesn't uses VPN or TOR (Not just for Bitcointalk but also their daily life). Yeah having privacy is important, I don't deny it. But for some people, they just don't care.
I don't know on which basis, the tbct_mt2 is saying that Satoshi always uses tor. However using Tor for BTT does not make anyone abnormal or normal. Instead many members above already said that people prefer Tor for privacy purposes. As we all know this forum uses cloud flare and cloud flares have the ability to track anyone using it. This means people can be tracked using their IPs as IPs are saved on Cloud Flare.

TBH, a lot of people care about anonymity and they really use TOR and they don't use free VPNs as in one of your posts you asked what if the same IPs are allocated to a VPN user and that IP could be blacklisted. I say to avoid that, you should use a paid VPN. This problem is common.

As, I also read a topic in which a user was totally new to BTT but his IP got blacklisted and he asked why he was BL and many users said, he might be using the internet from a service provider from which another BTT member might be taking the internet. As, when this happened, sometimes the IP address remains the same but for local area network provider.

Trying many times did not help.

Based on my past experience, you should PM theymos about this problem along with link (e.g. pastebin link) which include context/text which blocked by CloudFlare.
I found the problem. I can post
Code:
wget download.electrum.org

I can post
Code:
wget https:/download.electrum.org

This is interesting because, with the preview option, you still make some kind of entry in the forum database. It can be said that you still have editor access to the forum.
If everything is up to date as suggested earlier by other members, maybe you should also check your internet connection. Are you perhaps via VPN? Is the current IP address you are using perhaps blacklisted due to spam or similar?

Why use TOR at the first place anyway? Can't you use normally?

What is normal? Who defines the term normal use of the Bitcointalk forum, You?
Why do you think that everyone should access the forum the way you do?

Yeah having privacy is important, I don't deny it. But for some people, they just don't care.

While some people care  Shocked

p.s: Is there any TOR guide for how to use it for Bitcointalk? Would really appreciate it.

There is no special guide on how to use TOR on this forum or anywhere else, it is a browser like any other, with the difference that by using such a browser you get a certain amount of privacy. Some will say that it is much easier for them to use a VPN, but that is only because they have never even tried TOR - which is not a problem if they have an attitude like yours.

Most people generally have no need to protect their privacy, and if you do something very bad, even with the use of TOR, there is a high probability that you will be located by those who have the resources for such things.

You can read more on this link -> About Tor Browser

I'll probably release Satoshi's PMs and logged IPs addresses in ~8 years. This'd probably be of great historical interest. (Though he always used Tor, as far as I can tell.)

OP can use Ctrl+Shift+L or click on hamburger icon and choose New Tor circuit for this site. It can help to resolve the connection issue when using Tor.

I know it's a silly question and I don't know how is works entirely but only some of it. Won't it effect my account?

Suppose a banned user using a VPN for ban evasion. I'm also using the same VPN. Is there any chance to get connected with his ip or anything? Or get connected to a ip which is already blacklisted. I wouldn't know that.
Do not be afraid or worried to use Tor. It is not connected to a banned account. The only way someone can be affected is when he is registering, the person may have to pay evil fee.

People that evaded ban are known to people on this forum and they are reported before their alts are banned.

Another side is that in some countries this forum is banned by authorities and it is impossible to visit it without Tor or VPN. So some of us need to use something of that just to be able to get here.
That is true, Russian for example.

Some people on this forum prefer to remain anonymous, such people will prefer to use Tor which is better in masking someone's identify than any other means. Some people use VPN also (paid VPN). VPN is private and centralized unlike Tor which is not centralized like VPN.

Right, one side is privacy. We are at a bitcoin forum where financial matters are discussed and thus anonymity is tightly tied with security.

Another side is that in some countries this forum is banned by authorities and it is impossible to visit it without Tor or VPN. So some of us need to use something of that just to be able to get here.

No, it won't. Evil points are actual only for newly registered accs. So you don't need to worry about using the same VPN as someone else. At least as is for now.

He should try and update his Tor browser. What can make browsers including Tor not able to pass captcha is becuase the app is old and not updated.
