Same here, coinmarketcap is THE site to look at for now. They've been doing it for years already. Exchanges rely on them as well to see if a coin has volume or not on other exchanges. They're APIs are being used by lots of crypto sites whether it is for the price or exchange rate. But one can always think of a site which can be better than CMC either better graphics, more info etc but CMC is the most well-known in the field. Just like BTC with ETH, BTC is still the king even if ETH has more things to offer due to more options but BTC is the oldest and the most well-known in the crypto world. So CMC it is for me at least for the time being.

I will not depend entirely on CMC, I mean CMC in my opinion is quite good because we know that CMC is a global site where coins and price charts are clear, I only use it as needed, if there is something I need, maybe next I will try fobrescrypto .

Which one do you think is more reliable, CMC or ForbesCrypto?
I would say CMC

Many people accuse the inaccuracy in the information provided by the Coinmarketcap, but with such a large amount of information processed it is difficult to avoid small errors or inaccuracies. However, Coinmarketcap is the longest existing service of this type, so I am sure that it will remain a leader for a very long time.

This is the first time I heard about Forbes Crypto even though there are many sites like Coinmarket but I'm not sure about its reliability . Currently I'm just using Coinmarket to check volumes, ... and I think it's stable and good for me.

Both sites should be fairly reliable but occasionally they can have technical issues so if the value or volume of a particular market appears to be incorrect, you can always double check it using other indexes such as Blockfolio or Coingecko

I still believe CMC than the forbescrypto because when I visited on the website, I found that they make news and I don't know that the news is from their analysis or the other websites. I don't want to become a panic person when reading some news on the site because I already have a bad experience by reading the wrong news. CMC more than enough for me to get the data of every coin in the market.

I would go with neither. Never checked forbescrypto, just that name makes me not to go further and cmc has wrong info for several coins.

It's better to use forbescrypto because it has a lot of more option and always updated news on cryptocurrency. CMC is nowadays biased. They don't provide  information correctly.

I use CMC every day to monitor coins. And CMC I think has provided a lot of information about coins. And CMC has a good appearance and seems to make it easier for users to monitor the price of coins.

I have been using CMC since 2017 and so far they are very reliable. I have not heard of ForbesCrypto though. I might try them and compare since you are comparing the two so it made me curious. I will rate them in terms of the tokens and coins listed and how fast they update their prices.

should they be compared from each other? i think, cmc is the popular one among crypto users. it is like one of the first sites that they will visit when checking for the performance or info of a coin. so for me, definitely CMC!

CMC is the site everyone knows and is the first one to go to. coingecko.com is another good one and has similar information to CMC. Last but not least, coincompare.com is very good site for coin price quotes and lot more features.

I know not of Forbescrypto.. but I don't trust the volumes given out by coinmarketcap... sometimes their data on the crypto market is wrong.. it might be slight bug

Not familiar with Forbescrypto here also. I have been checking CMC everyday for quite sometime already. Though there are info missing in CMC, I think they are basing with some figures from the data submitted by the team. But in general, it helps a lot in checking the overview of the coin.

I think there would not be comparison with between the coinmarketcap and the ForbesCrypto, it is impossible. I believe that not too many people now about the ForbesCrypto. If you want to test the website usage, you should go to Alexa and find website traffic statistics. If you check the ForbesCrypto's global rank is "580,498" and the coinmarketcap's rank is "446". So there is a big cliff between this two websites..

I do not totally trust marketcap sites. They might be very useful in some areas, but when it comes to the price of coins itself, I usually prefer to go directly to the exchange, because that is where the real trade is and that is where to get adequate information on the buy and sell order or market place.
I use CMC more and I am not that aware of ForbesCrypto.i

I never visited forbescrypto. Let's admit the fact that everyone relies on coinmarketcap if its about the data on the whole crypto market. Though it doesn't really cover ALL of the coins but they have majority of it. They have the most traffic that caters so people are visiting them and depending on their prices but there's a time that they have been glitched and that affected the market. Just think of that, with just a very simple glitch it affects the all market.

I don't even know about ForbesCrypto, so obviously my answer is CoinMarketCap. Sometimes I use some other trackers like coingecko, because there are many small cap coins which aren't listed at CMC.

I still have not visited forbescrypto, but I would stick in CMC. Because CMC has given me accurate information already on the prices of the coins. And it makes my day complete.
