Thought I'd try my hand at crystal ballin'

We will soon see an increase in volume and a move up to at least 135.

That is all.

Well then...

Now it tests... If it holds it will build a new base near here.

Holy crap! Good call, cAPSLOCK

I think you were holding the crystal ball upside down  Cheesy

He dropped the crystal ball and it shattered.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

This is a little unfair. We were definitely in a low volume, smooth rise through resistance, very indicative of the early stages of a breakout when a black swan event took place. No one saw this coming.

You can't have "the early stages of a breakout" with low volume... it is high volume that defines the breakout.

By "early stages of a breakout" I am referring to the period of slow, steady rise on low volume, waiting for an increase in volume for a breakout. See: clarkmoody chart 2012-10-26 - 2012-11-13

That situation is completely different than the current situation, and there is no breakout in that range.

What Is a Breakout?
A breakout is a stock price that moves outside a defined support or resistance level with increased volume.

Spot on #1! Just goes to show the one who is brave enough to swim against the highest tide is the champion when the tides change, if he doesn't drown.
