Well, I think it works, but nobody answered my email either. A few days later my IP was banned at the site. Not sure what is going on, but I'm not going to sit around waiting for an answer. I think I will take my business to www.amagimetals.com.

Hi Coinabul/Jon

It seems my IP has been banned at coinabul.com and I was wondering if this is some mistake or what is going on. The only interaction I have had with you or your business, is sending a support e-mail asking about shipping to my country of residence.

I also asked about packaging and insurance, in light of some users having their shipment lost. I was only looking for information, and perhaps some reassurance, before making a purchase. I was very polite, as I always am when conducting business, and I find it hard to believe that this has caused you to ban my IP address. Could you please shed some light on this?

Another happy customer here.  I bought some silver bars and coins, both showed up in excellent packaging and excellent condition.  I was also very impressed with the level of customer service I received in both forum PMs and emails.  Coinabul is a great BTC business.  So far since I bought BTC has gone down and silver spot has gone up!

+1 for a bit of communication probs via the website in early January. BUT you can always get a hold of them in #coinabul on the freenode IRC network.
We're also available via PM on the forums, PM via Reddit, emails, we also have U.S. domestic phone numbers and international phone numbers.
We try to be as accessible as possible, if you have another preferred form of communication, let me know!

Thanks,
-Jon

P.S. We're upgrading our mail servers to stop the communication problem.

Jon has been in touch with an explanation of the error in communication, further explained what technically went wrong and how they are fixing it and was professional and courteous throughout. My package is in transit and being from the frozen part of the world I am used to waiting, so no worries.

You might have gotten yours quick, I sent them 12.4224 on Jan 8th, and I've never received an email, a coin nor a single response to my inquiries via their "customer service form", nothing.

I cannot recommend them.

I'm smart enough to check my spam folder.
Hey,

We should have contacted you, care to send me a PM on the forums with your email? I'll be sending you one shortly, please reply to it!

I'll investigate what went wrong! This is highly irregular.

Thanks,
-Jon

Just wanted to pipe in here. I saw somewhere that someone was complaining about the time it took for Coinabul to ship. I just placed an order on the 19th and received it today on the 24th. 5 days is quite quick for shipping on PMs, my last order from Apmex took significantly longer than that to arrive, so... I'll certainly use Coinabul again (when I build up enough more BTC).

We've updated our shipping prices. They are WAY cheaper now!

Thank Goodness, the last time I visited, the cost of shipping is still quite prohibitive.
