Wow. Got one of the 0.05 again. There seem to be not a lot of people going for the special prizes or I simply got lucky twice Smiley. Hope someone else got one of the other two tonight.

I got payed every earned amount since the 'new' functionality. So the first 0.05 some days ago too. This is a prove, for all you guys don't think it's real, that the special prizes are not a scam. CoinAd already was my favorite free Bitcoin website before the relaunch but it gets better and better. Good job Carlos.

Just in case you didn't see this suggestion I made in the other thread:

Consider putting in something like dailybitcoins has with their prize counter on the frontpage: "50 larger prizes available today"

A counter that decrements when one of the larger prizes is won, so that users don't have to keep hitting F5 to reload the page
trying for that prize after it has already been won. Then they can either opt for the base amount or wait and try for a larger prize
later.

That's against his interest, since it would reduce number of daily page views.  Cool

I wouldn't automatically assume that he would have less page views, since a lot of people might be like me and
would just not use the site as often because of the lowered base prize and the increased page loading one needs
to do to try for a larger prize... only to find after wearing ones fingers out on the F5 key that one didn't get it.

I also like your suggestion about lost prizes.  I also got 0.003 yesterday while trying for a smaller amount.

Yeah, I really wish these sites could give you like one extra chance or something in case you hit refresh too quickly. Smiley

So I guess this makes CoinAd much like Dailybitcoins now. Though in a way, trying to get prizes at Dailybitcoins with this scheme was already hectic enough for me.  Tongue

ReCAPTCHA is one (if not the) most difficult captcha service to crack. But like I already said: No captcha can protect your site from abuse. The best ReCaptcha OCR's have about 10% success rate (what would explain your 90% fail rate). But I'm a little bit confused: As long as you can detect the visitors as bots you should also be able to block them. Is your 90% fail rate just a number out of nothing or are you really able to get that from your statistics?

Nice work done.

One minor thing, under my payments, the date uses 12hour time clock but does not use if am or pm

Try LastPass, it's a great password manager.

I agree with you. I use LastPass myself.

Sooner or later, you'll all regret giving up on using brain for storing info. Till than, keep on thinking technology is solution.
You can print a backup of your LastPass account.

Doesn't feel very secure, that.

Nice site, btw.

I've been trying to create an account for quite some time now, with different e-mail addresses. I never get the account activation e-mail.

This is a very interesting concept, but how can you guarantee fair play? It's one thing to have a random system vs something like a slot machine where in the long run the house always wins.

They've been around for many years.
Probably the best PTC.

That doesn't mean that their security doesn't suck. Which is the point I'm bringing up.

Never heard any complaints about them.

Take a look at all the sites that have been hacked in the past (and future if you can :-). You may notice that the users of those sites did not have any (okay, only a little) complaints UNTIL the site got hacked.

Don't ever use the same password.

Meanwhile, try that ClixSense thing.

This seems like a scam, however I admit that I could be the only one who thinks this.
Why do I think this? Going to your site, directs to ClixSense which allows you to "...Earn Up To $0.02 Per PTC Ad Click and Up To $0.008 Per Referral Click..."

Also, ClixSense sucks security wise*. They store passwords in plain text!!!

Don't believe me.
Sign up with them and let them know you have forgotten your password.
They will send your password to your email of record.
Never a good sign security wise.

My opinion. Never trust a site that holds your password in plain text.

* They may suck on other matters, however I don't know about that.

Is this a temporary measure, or is the shutdown permanent?

I do in fact use skude, though the referral link seems to be interfering with CoinAd logins or something at the moment (I have to reload before it recognizes me as logged in, and I think this is when the address gets lost—I have autocomplete, I just forget to fill it in sometimes.). But then again, my copy of Firefox acts pretty messed up a lot of the time in general, anyway. Smiley
