my advice is to be safe ur email address ,  don't give ur email id to any one. plz dont register with anyone 3rd party apps or any other ico programme or airdrop forms. Plz keep it safe secure ur email id  don't even give to friends.
when u registered in coinbase 2 fa authentication is great to have so that whenever anyone hack or login with ur email id u will get notified  without 2 fa  nobody can access or withdraw the funds. Except if anyone reset ur account with ur login credentials , like example  the passwords logic or same passwords using for diff accounts like facebook or gmail or any other .  plz avoid that kind of passwords  keep it safe and secure the password first.
if anyone reset ur password or email  plz check back ur inbox or spam folder try to see it the ip address try to find it  report in cyber crime department hopefully maybe they can trace .

It is very unfortunate. But try to recall that in this period have you ever downloaded any unrelated or new program to your device which is logged in with the coinbase? If you have then try to figure out whether this program is the reason for your loss.

The weight of what you are saying can bring the cryptocurrency market down for months in which I know you will not be happy if it happens. Before you post such news ask your friends to log into the website so that you can be sure if it's only your account that was hacked.

I do not think Coinbase is hacked. What might happen is probably the account you were using is hacked. I would suggest you to check your wallet everyday it is important.

I guess its nothing but fud.
there are no evidences about the incident happened moreover many details are missing.
I would suggest you to use 3/4 different wallets that will of course minimize your loss.
And most important thing I personally do not believe because I had more than one coinbase wallet since 2013 and till now its working fine.
It keeps the record of each and every details of login quoting your IP address each time.

I guess either this is some phising attack or something like that or you didn't set up your account security.
Next time enable all 2fa/google authenticator/mail log in etc.

I will suggest you to use hard wallets instead of wallets in web or mobile phones. Nothing can beat them when security is important. I know they cost a bit  and are less comfortable in everyday use, but when you put it into the shelf in your room, no one can get your money.

So sorry to hear that my friend. That is why it is necessary to check your wallet every day. It is very dangerous to leave your wallet without checking it for a while. There are so many groups of hackers that are waiting for this kind of mistakes by users.

Have you look to the transaction history?

Coinbase wasn't hacked because if it did, many are going to have that complain and it will be on the news. You probably logged in to a phishing link where the hacker is just monitoring your move and when he has chance to do so, he robbed you.

My account is alright, nothing was done and, from my point of view, it was not hacked.
Try to write to the Coinbase support, they must help you

Because the technology is becoming more dynamic day by day, the people who pose as hackers are coming up with new and unique ways to hack. And we need to be careful in every step of the way. This is sad, but try to be updated to avoid such unfortunate events.

Sorry for your lost man, but the deed has already been done but we will need to advice that we need to secure our assets by way of keeping a high security keys and password in a way that it will be impossible for hackers to get access to your personal account except by hacking the whole exchange entirely.

There's a difference between saying coinbase got hacked, and saying that YOUR PERSONAL ACCOUNT was hacked. It's exactly stupid headlines that this that contribute to the FUD that surrounds cryptocurrency. I've noticed that it's always low level noobs that have got no idea about how hacks actually work and yet shout their mouth of saying HACK HACK HACK.

You were probably infected with a remote assistance tool and somebody logged in and took your coins, very simple.

I won't be surprised if that really happened. I had an account on HitBTC and it keeps getting hacked. No matter how many times i changed my password there are still random people logging into my acc.

Well...I don't think you should say Coinbase exchanger is hacked or so, just say that your own account has been compromised. Because loosing some of your personal asset simply means a simple hack on your account and this can only be achieved with you leaving a loop hole.

Since you didn't log in to your account for a long time that's why you didn't able to update some feature so it got hacked easily. Also, Maybe hacker somehow identify that you didn't use it for a while. Next time don't do this mistake. Always try to check your wallet everyday whether you use it or not.

No, no no. Just don't store your valuable coins at an online 3rd party.

it looks like your account has been hacked, it's not possible that coinbase which is the big platform is hacked, because coinbase usually performs maintenance regularly.
I don't think your coinbase account has been hacked, but the beginning is your hacked email, where hackers know that you have a coinbase account, after that the hacker forgets your password on your coinbase account, and changes the password, and to eliminate the hackers delete email enter from coinbase because the hacker has full access to your e-mail, so please be careful, I often experience this, even my relatives also

or maybe his/her browser just crashed and have an internet problems that's why scripts aren't loading and if I think coinbase will get hacked it will be on the news everywhere because it's a big company.
