To be honest I'm not 100% but yeah, I never thought they would of for the .tk but you never know!
I'll be moving over to co.cc if I have any more issues before I get .com/.net or whatever!

Got ya. I'm surprised a host would take down a site just because it's related to crypto currency. Especially when some big name people are even backing it.

A program like Dreamweaver may be a good idea if you are new to the web development side. There are also a lot of free alternatives as well, though I have never used any of them (I mostly just code by hand).

I know! Sad just after I had got the site ready and published it etc.! - unregistered my old .tk name (ecoins.tk) then some sneaky bastard company come along and snatch that as it had, had so many views randomly! :@ boo! - but CoinCloud was born out of all this so yey! Smiley
& yeah, their customer service replies were blunt and unhelpful to say the least..

Also thank you! - I'll look into them! Smiley
Shocked I discovered crypto currencies which I didn't know exist. Thanks Cheesy

Apologies the site hasn't many pages yet but glad to hear you managed to find a new coin! Cheesy

My aim is to build the all in one go to place for newbies but yeah.. "i'm just a dreeeeaaamer.." -ozzy. Tongue

Ohhh, are you sure they took down the site because of Bitcoin, or was it because of the .tk? In the beginning I was using .tk's for some sites I wanted to get up and running before taking "live," and out of five hosts I tried all of them deleted the accounts due to the .tk address. This is when I moved to .co.cc for testing addresses and have had no issues since (though .co.cc has some bad press attached as well, but not nearly as negative).

Thank you!  Cheesy

I'm using webs for a few reasons:
- it's quick and easy to edit things with their site builder
- I'm not very clued up on any programming / coding language but know bits and pieces from a few lol
- Weebly which I was using kept taking down any Bitcoin related site I made Sad

But yeah, once/if I become more confident using html I would consider moving the site!
I recently bought a paid package from them for another project I'm doing but it means this one is kind of on hold for now but I have faith! Tongue

Fixed all the pages now to be 'viewable' by all! Smiley enjoy!

quicklinks to 'finished' pages:
What is Bitcoin?
Faucets
Chat

tell me what you think! Smiley

if you're interested in helping fund my project
feel free to here!

Hey, it's looking good!

Are you only using webs.com because you don't know how to use html? If not, you can find free hosts that you can host with using any domain you want (this is in relation to webs only allowing you to upgrade through them).

Agree'd - .tk's aren't very popular as a lot of people have used them in the past to give a phishing site or something similar a better domain..
- I would grab one cheap but Webs make you buy their paid packages to use your domain Sad - found this out with another site I made..

& Ahh, I see - I thought you had somehow profited through it some how Tongue

& It's strange, only sometimes the link is getting 'auto-d' to suspicious link,
It's only as it's a .tk I believe!

& Considering the poll results I'll remove the members/sign up thing.. was more of a novelty really Tongue

Yes Grin

Forgot to say in the other post but thanks! That was really nice to do, Smiley.

Now then... I just noticed the title of the thread has changed. Now it says "suspicious link removed" instead of the web address.

Made, 0.09 bitcoin with blockchain's "send shared".

unrelated but I'm interested Tongue - tell me more ole' wise one!
It's a way to send bitcoins from a wallet to another one anonymously https://blockchain.info/en/wallet/send-shared

I suggest you to buy the .net domain with these money (the .com is bought from someone else).

I had to read through your posts a couple times to finally get it. I was like "how did you earn BTC from using the send shared?" You meant that you donated using it, :p.

Good idea, but... you used a free hosting and a .tk domain Sad

We haven't all had such luck with their crypto's tripling in value..
Once I have some spare cash I'll throw it into this project!

Webs seems semi decent for a non-expert coder like myself but who still wants to contribute and .tk's are short and free!
Feel free to donate to speed the process up? Tongue

Avoid .tk. Seriously, it's going to cause more problems than it's worth, due to the way most hosts view them (they are notorious for phishing and scams). If you want to go with a free short domain do it with .co.cc. It's a little more awkward, but it is well worth it.

When you can, move to a .com. Usually you can register for $1 on sales.
