FAKE news

Fake news that they got hacked?

In any case they have promised information from police investigations. Have to see if this happens and if the information is verifiable or not.

What will happen to the Ether price when the hackers will sell 43k ETH? For me that means the price will go down. Would be a good time to buy new ETH

I been in bounty campaigner in coindash I seen this but if the ethereum really gone to hackers account based on my uderstanding it's possible to understand trace the transaction address finally where it went and in which account its converted as fiat if blockchain prospective world is very small.

Has anyone mentioned that there is a project better than CoinDash already in development with a very small marketcap?

Well it's a good thing that they didn't steal anything of value. At least they're only stealing eth. $43,000 worth about let's eat what nothing because no one actually touches that at all. Oh maybe we should Fork it off into a couple of more coins and then somebody'll actually do something with it oh no they won't because we already tried for it get it and it to coins and no one cares about you either one of those.

Deal Coin - P2P Lending Eco-system
It is really sad for all the Token sales participants, even if they give back the money, the project reputation is already ruined.

The price is going to be worthless on exchange... I am glad I didnt join this ICO

it's bad for the cowdfunding space, that's the disadvantage of decentralized system, most regulatory bodies are watching to jump regulate the cryptocurrency, especially ICOs

iam not believe if coindash hack, and 43k balance lost
i think only manipulation and trick to run money

if true hack, dev is not compatible not experience to safe capital money investor
yeah might be a excuse to run the money off but we are not sure if its the devs are behind this hack there is a chance devs are behind this hack , if its not then the devs are terrible at securing the wallet and storing them at the safe place
Unfortunately, I guess there are more and more of such cases. I read their official letter to users. I think they are not really planning to reimburse the money. At least, definitely not all of it. This is the second time a lot of eth gets stolen. The first was with ethereum-wallet.net and in that case we got 40% of money and that's it. People suspect the owners there as well. I am starting to hate this coin.

the team didn't implement best practices during the ICO

There are security "guidelines" that have to be followed and they simply ignored them during the ICO

If they didn't have the know-how they should have entrusted a third party to complete the sale
The ICO CoinDash project focuses on web site design but forgets about its security, which is the worst for a large investor, $ 7 million stolen. I think this is the worst attack in all ICO projects

Yap, this is dubious. ICO just started tomorrow and now this happening. This thing happening so fast or that hacker is smart for waiting the ICO launch then steal a big bag with full of money. This is show us how poor coindash security for secured their site
The team of coindash is really sucked, They can't be secured the simple homepage from the scammer.  A lot of people are losing the money in the coindash crowdsale. The team is without any experienced in security, the project is useless because i don't need CDT. I can trade the real asset rather than choose fake asset such as CDT.

Coindash said that they would compensate the members who send ETH to the wrong address - they would still receive their tokens.

It's not something you expect to happen during the first minute of your ICO..

From the way I understand it, the hacker replaced the official Coindash ICO address with his own ETH address. How Coindash failed to notice that something was amiss is still a mystery. The big losers are the guys who sent ETH after the Coindash website was shut down. They will not be compensated!

they want to create a new brand of future trading right ? how can they protect people balances if they can't keep their site security safe for only the ICO ?? I'm not judging they are scaming or not, but their reputation already got bad, it's too hard to gain people trust after this

That's a very good point. But considering how the market is with everyone wanting to get rich quick, I can imagine this may be quickly forgotten...

but surely the CoinDash admins should have noticed that no ETH was coming into their real account after the ICO was opened?

Looking at the .csv, 80% of funds were transferred within the first ten minutes.

If you don’t believe, why are you here?

Right? Unless this was executed in 10s of seconds, then it seems like most of the damage could have been mitigated . I'd imagine all eyes are glued to the legitimate address upon release.
