COINEX IS THIEF AND FRAUDULENT. IN SWAP THEY SHOWED ME A PRICE BUT TRANSACTION EXECUTED BY HIGHER PRICE. I LOST $70. They don't reply me!!!!!!!
If you use the search button above and search for COINEX, you will find many scam accusations about this poorly reputed and completely unregulated exchange, which has previously been hacked and lost millions of dollars.

There are also many new complaints about this exchange on review sites such as Sikayetvar and Trustpilot, which warn users to be cautious about not using this exchange and not to open an account, as many have reported losing their deposits and being unable to withdraw their funds. This exchange has also been widely promoted by scammers who present themselves as wealthy people and promise profits to entice people to sign up. It's worth noting that there are many popular and regulated exchanges in the market, which raises the question of why one would use this scam exchange.

Is Coinexchange back in business? I knew it went under sometime ago. I don't understand this accusation OP is making here, and refusing to share link makes it look like they're just trolling with the post here. Or is OP talking about a different Coinexchange here?

I used to have an account with Coinexchange before the exchange closed shop a few years ago. The exchange actually sent out notifications before it shut down for customers to withdraw their assets. I sold off those I could and withdrew my BTC. I guess that was the second exchange I subscribed to after Poloniex during my noob days in crypto.

This user has not shared any website links. Now it is not clear whether he received such message from Real website or from any phishing website. This exchange has been in the market for a long time, an old exchange is not supposed to block anyone's account without any reason.

I look forward to seeing more information from OP. Because so far not enough information has been found which website he is actually talking about.

So far I didn't see any complains regarding the same report as op on their social media accounts (twitter and facebook) even on their sub reddit. Maybe you can add some screenshots together with the sender of the message. I'm just suspicious regarding that message on how of the account's suspension. Is that a translated or not?

OP can you please share more details?

The OP is not active in 2 days and from his post history he will probably come again in a few months, he is not very active on the forum, I hope I am wrong about this possibility of him only coming to the forum in 2 or 3 months

OP can you please share more details? Even you don't share the website link. So we don't know either you enter the real site or phishing site. It's possible you may fall into phishing attempts as well, we can't ignore that truth. A similar account like Coinex seems around the forum and it's active. I am not sure if the account is related to the exchange. Please provide some more details like scam amount, exchange website, a screenshot of funds, and chats.

Visited their exchange/website and found no info about the team behind it. Not even a single LinkedIn profile or just any photo that would represent the team. But regardless of how sketchy the exchange looks, you should still present any evidence you have.
What bothers me is that knowing this exchange does not have a visible team, why would you guys use it in the first place?
Surely there are far more popular and less risky centralized exchanges out there. Why use it?

Because it's well know and has been for years.
It seems to have very few complaints compared to many other exchanges.

Compared to other places it is not a bad place to trade.
It is or at least was part of VIABTC
And if you care to know about the people that run it:

Do you have any source to your claim? I didn’t see any such news anywhere. If you have been scammed or someone else, you can report according to the format here. I got their ANN here in bitcointalk; not sure whether official or not but it seems official- https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-coinex-the-global-digital-coin-exchange-5239667
Besides, post this text on their ANN thread if you got some solid proofs to back your claim.
