SCAM WARNING

They scammed around 0.008 BTC from my company.
You cannot complete verification successfully. They also scam your documents.

Dont even bother using this scam trash service.

"Verification is NOT REQUIRED for businesses that wish to keep the bitcoins earned."

Registered a personal account to receive some payments on low scale. After a while they started blocking my withdrawal and asking for verification documents of a company. Which sense does it make to allow personal accounts but requesting company verification from anyone? This is pure bullshit and just a reason to block the money. Until now im still waiting for my money, gonna see when those scammers will pay.

I'd love Credits to become a payment option using CoinGate. I'm launching a new service shortly which will be using your WHMCS module for payments. The majority of my clients will be Credits users and will be wanting to pay in CRDS if at all possible.

Hello guys!

A couple of quick updates from us Cheesy

---

Here is the full list of countries that we now support for buying Bitcoin with mobile balance (phone credit):
Austria, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Norway, Finland, Denmark, United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Greece, Poland, Cyprus, Hungary, Slovakia, Israel, Israel, and Canada.

So far 18 in total, and more coming soon...

Check the service here: https://coingate.com/buy-bitcoin-mobile

---

We've integrated with ShapeShift to offer customers a way to pay with 40 Altcoins! What's cool about this feature is that it does not affect our merchants and does not introduce any additional hassles, because all payments made with Altcoins are simply converted to Bitcoin or EUR / USD. ShapeShift button is already integrated on our invoices and we're moving forward with a more native integration! Click the image below to read about it on our blog.

Also, check out a sample invoice to see how it works: https://coingate.com/pay/altcoin-button

Hello everyone!

A quick announcement:

We've just launched a feature that allows users to buy Bitcoin using mobile credit simply by sending a text message, or making a call to a premium number!
The payment is charged directly to your phone bill.

To buy Bitcoin with your mobile phone, no registration is needed, an no verification whatsoever!

To make this happen, we partnered with an Austrian carrier billing company DaoPay who process the mobile payments for us. We have rolled out in 9 European countries right now, but we have approval for 35+ countries, and they will be added on gradually.

The feature is great for buying small amounts of Bitcoin ($5-$100 worth of), for example, when you are short a few mBTCs to make a purchase, or if you are just starting out with Bitcoin and are looking for an easy way to try it out. For people who get their mobile bills paid by employers, this is also a great way to cash out a few extra bucks at the end of the month  Roll Eyes

Check it out at https://coingate.com/buy-bitcoin-mobile and tell us what you think!

Best regards to all!

Hi Bitcointalkers!

CoinGate continues to work on making Bitcoin payments easier for both Merchants and their Customers.

Some of the things we did recently:

We have just launched a way for merchants to automatically accept orders that are underpaid by up to 10%, and we recommend our clients to set the threshold at 1-2%. Our experience and client feedback has demonstrated that there is a significant share orders that get underpaid by a very small amount, typically up to 1% of the order value, and in many cases by amounts in the likes of 1000 satoshi. Investigating the reasons led us to believe the in most cases such orders happen when customers make purchases by withdrawing money from exchanges, or make payments from various 3rd party services and web wallets that deduct a fee from the transaction amount. Also, some services only allow making payments that are rounded down to 4-6 digits past the decimal point, leading to a number of payments that are insufficient by a few hundred satoshis.

So far, we are seeing great results with the new feature - it has increased customer experience and conversion rates, and has reduced the amount of manual work that merchants have to do.

We are quite proud about what we have done with our payment gateway so far, so please let us share with the community the benefits which currently, we strongly believe, make us one of the best Bitcoin processors out there!

  • Fully automated order handling system
  • Manage each and every created order in your CoinGate account dashboard
  • Most payments are marked paid instantly - no Bitcoin network confirmation is needed, and we always guarantee to pay you
  • (new) Automatically accept accidental customer underpayments up to a desired threshold (max 10%)
  • Increase the invoice expiration time to up to 24 hours (when receiving BTC payouts)
  • Accept late payments manually if desired
  • Your customers can request refunds for underpaid/expired orders directly from the invoice
  • Integrate easily with one of our 9 ecommerce shopping cart plugins or via API
  • No hidden fees - we source the best Bitcoin conversion rate from several exchanges without an added margin

If you have any questions about our service(s), always feel free to post here, via PM, or drop us an email at [email protected]

Best wishes to all!

Thanks for your reply!

Ok, we understand! We will check your links out. Yes, we are new to accepting bitcoin and we have limited experience bundled with the fact that our web host does not natively support BTC payment or external payment gateways. At the moment, we definitely won't be able to handle any APIs. But we will be looking to upgrade the existing payment experience and will be reaching out to BTC payment processors in near future.

Impressed that got a reply so quick!

Best wishes

When we were trying to accept BTC payments on our website www.galeriademoda.com, we played around with several BTC Payment Gateways including yours. We are currently creating CoinSimple invoices and accepting BTC payments, but in the future we will be looking to move to a semi-automated or a fully automated payment experience.

Each of these payment gateways had their own issues that we were unhappy about. There were two main things about your service that were deal breakers for us and I was just wondering if these will be improved in the future?

Firstly, the payment pages are very ugly. We were a big fan of the "Slider" button, but here is what I mean... people will be put off after taking one look at this page https://coingate.com/pay/test_slider_button. We played with all fonts, colours, backgrounds, but it didn't help.

Secondly, we could not embed this form and host it on our website. It just did not work. Is this feature available? Will it be available in the future? Here is an example of what we did using GoCoin's form, take a look http://galeriademoda.com/experimentdonotuse. We probably won't be using GoCoin as support was extremely slow to understand problems and respond (Certificate errors were showing up on their pages, forms).

Hi, thank you for your feedback.

I find it hard to understand why you would use payment buttons for such a well-designed eshop. Our payment buttons are intended only for the simplest integrations, such as accepting donations, when the user does not have sufficient computer skills to implement a more sophisticated solution. Thus, although payment button upgrades are on our roadmap, they are not a priority, as we focus on full-fledged eCommerce integrations.

I would therefore suggest that you consider our API for your store. It offers nearly unlimited integration possibilities, but, of course, requires a knowledgeable developer to create a truly unique integration. All relevant API documentation is available at https://developer.coingate.com and you can see several integration examples here: https://developer.coingate.com/docs/code-examples

I can guarantee that you would be much more satisfied with a solution such as this. As for our support, we are certainly one of the quickest out there, and I am confident that you would not be dissapointed. If you require any assistance, please drop us a line at [email protected] and we can discuss this matter with you further.

Regards,
CoinGate

Hi Bitcointalkers!

We hope all of you are doing well. On our part, we certainly are. The start of the year has been great for us, and we are busier than ever.

We continue to work hard on developing new features that will make Bitcoin payments easier for both Businesses and Customers.

  • We introduced an update to our Merchant dashboard, allowing more convenient filtering of orders.
  • We upgraded our refund system for underpaid and overpaid orders. Customers can easily request a refund directly from the invoice.
  • We implemented an additional method to reduce numbers of expired invoices and partial payments made from web wallets, exchanges and 3rd party services by accepting payments that are short of a cent or less.
  • MoneyPolo is now offered as a Withdrawal option for Merchants, and a Buy/Sell option for Traders.
  • CoinGate is now available in FRENCH at https://fr.coingate.com

Also, check out our beginners' guide for a swift start with Bitcoin! We cover Bitcoin wallet types and a step-by-step installation of our favorite wallet, Electrum: https://blog.coingate.com/2017/01/bitcoin-wallet-guide/

By the way, our CTO spoke about public and private blockchains at a conference hosted by Rise Vilnius.
