I don't think it was a good idea? Because it was involved our data, doing KYC in exchange for just a few dollars? for me it was not beneficial because they might sell our precious data to other people or to any platform for their monetary purposes, thats why I won't do it, as long as it was not badly needed. But it's another story if you need to do KYC with such important reasons required by the government or any important services that required KYC.
for such a small price it is not feasible it looks like KYC that we will do. but seeing the coinmetro project, if I'm not mistaken, it was a project that was once managed by the Amzix team. successful but the development doesn't look so good. may indeed require a lot of events to attract traders there.
You're right, Coinmetro is an old project. but maybe like what you say in quiet conditions maybe even events are suitable for increasing their trade.

Recently , I have not seen project handing out money kuat like that for just registering and completing KYC. I hope this not such. Next they want federal and deposit before withdrawing the 5 euro.

It is not as if they handing out big amount of money bro, 5 euro for your personal information is not something to be excited about really, this is not good in my opinion, it looks like a cheap way of gathering personal information of users and possibly selling them in black market otherwise why will they give 5 euro for just registering and deposit any amount, better to be skeptical about such offers.

It seems interesting. How long does it take to verify KYC, and what is the minimum deposit to get a bonus ?
Coinmetro kyc is dependent on your area of origin/residence. The process is not the same for everyone. Your country of origin will determine the level of kyc you will pass through. Its best you go through their kyc dashboard and see what applies to you before considering the offer except their kyc for investors is different from that of those using the exchange.

as far as I know there is no minimum deposit, and for kyc based on info from cm in their telegram it takes 3 hours, but it is better if you want to follow this, have to think for a moment considering the bonus offered is not equivalent to your personal data.
yes the prize given is not comparable with your personal data, now many personal data sales (around $ 10 per valid data)
so we must be careful if we want to do KYC, don't let our data be misused .

I have never heard of the platform and if it's also requiring the users to do KYC and deposit at the same. Are you guys still going to go just for the 5 euros and you'll settle it by doing KYC?
It's a great opportunity for those who owns fake docs of personal data that can be used to verify several identities by one user. Simply because no one will sell his personal info for 6$ if he won't use the platform for long run. I know that CoinMetro is a legit exchange tough, but this kind of offers may infect its reputation more than it may help to increase the traffic and get more users.
Last time i followed a similar offer (it was years ago), i waited several days to finish the KYC process and after that the support told me that the contest is over and i will get nothing. I wasn't that disoppointed because i stopped doing KYC after this case for whatever the reasons are .
That is a possible reason for something like this. They can simply cancel it anytime if they had enough KYC applications and for the users that have sent documents hoping for this small amount, it's a big disappointment. You're not even thinking of huge favor for doing that yet you haven't paid.
I trust more to avoid KYC.

I can do KYC just like I did in exchanges where I traded but I don't know about the reputation of the site, this is the first time I read about it I am ok with my exchanges they are all reputable and trusted and $6 is not the worth of my data toa suspicious website.

Basically, you are selling out your KYC details for just $5-6 which they could easily misuse so please be careful. Never perform a KYC on site unless you are 100% confirmed that the site you are doing KYC on is 100% legit.
Certainly they will use it for malicious purposes. That is why they offer $ 5-6 per KYC file. Be careful and stay away from these forms because it will cause you trouble in the future

I am also new to this platform but this token is already in the list of coin marketcap and only one exchange is available yes it is on their own platform.

Maybe after you have done KYC and made 1 XLM deposit, the token will be credited to your account if successful, but so far I haven't tried it.
Sound shady with the only exchange is their own platform. Does anyone have proof that they able to withdraw $6 for free? If you have to deposit and submit your KYC to verify then I can't really call it free since you literally sell your data for money. A give-and-take situation, nothing else.

Correct for $5 or $6 you are basically selling KYC. Avoid such websites or offers that ask you for KYC in order to get some small amount. I would never do it or promote it to anyone. There is a lot of risk involved here.

Other than the website will ask for KYC you also need to deposit some amount and try the exchange before you are able to claim the deposit bonus they are given . Many people that in needs will do that even we all know how risky it is. but the amount they are distributing  As giveaway is not enough for the risk of giving your identity to unknown website.

If they give you $6 for sign up with no KYC and no need to invest than good, But if the KYC is compulsory then avoid such type of little drops as they need your data and never sell your precious data just in pennies.

That's actually the catch there. If you are willing to submit your docs just by mere 5euros. You don't know where your info will end up with. So if you value your privacy and your sensitive info, not only think twice of sending your docs but think many times if it is really worth.

We shouldn't verify KYC arbitrarily, I find it too cheap to sell our own information. Today, too many websites require KYC verification, which reduces the peculiarity of the cryptocurrency world.

This thread should be in the bounty section, I do not know about this Coin Metro but they are building reputation and presence in the market, people should first do a research first if the site is legit and don't just jump on board because they are giving free money, our data is not worth $6 and they are also asking deposit might as well check.

is the 5 EUR in crypto means BTC or the native coin they have?

exchanges today wants to lure everyone on them but are not giving benefit at least to make people stay. did they say you can withdraw that 5 EUR in crypto?
if it can be withdrawn people will come running there, the KYC doesn't matter anymore because covid is covid. no jobs available anymore for anyone.  Grin
