Still android phones are more secured than windows, why did people still use windows when they can't handle security on windows? if you can't then don't use windows wallet or be ready to see your funds fly away into someone's else wallet address

I never used my mobile phone to stored my coins I just don't find secured, I find a desktop wallet more secure and safe, I guess it's on the user preferences here but the most important thing here is the coin owner knows how to secure his coins properly on whatever wallet or device he is using.

I have used the same wallet on my desktop and on my phone (no hardware wallet yet) and I see no difference to be honest. I actually do not know very well if phones can get viruses but my model is quite unknown but still android. I think it does not matter windows or not, android or not, if you do not have good security practices you are at risk of getting hacked.

Windows aren't safe for coins keeping, if its a must for you to use windows then do not use the Computer to browse on the internet, most malicious wares are from the internet, once you connect and keep browsing you will be vulnerable to attacks

As mentioned, the problem has been solved by simply restarting the PC so there's no need for complicated codes or what.   Grin
yes, but it is not a good solution to reboot only to close a program!
it is nevertheless a bug in Coinomi...
I think you need to reach out the entire coinomi support so that you can let them know this bug experience that you have with their app using linux.

The easiest way to contact them is through their telegram channel.

For these types of problems it's best to contact us on support.coinomi.com. ewibit, please open a support ticket there explaining the problem in detail and specifying which Linux distro, Coinomi version and coins you have added on your main list in the app. Thank you.

how to close Coinomi wallet on desktop in Linux?
it is not possible to do it in some ways... Sad
This is the first time to hear about this problem. I'm not a linux user but does the force close doesn't work on it? or linux do have that kind of feature?

not a linux user too but i heard linux was complicated and they use a code to install smth  , maybe they only need to use a code to disable the app  but now i see the problem fixed after reboot  . reboot works too and its the best method to all issues , but he better check if the app runs again on background coz some app are auto run after we reboot out pc's   .   and btw this was also my first time to hear a pc version for coinomi  , did they also support windows  o.s    ?   i only use mobile version so far
No need to worry about it.

Great.

Sometimes the simplest method is the solution for troubles like this. Then, I'm glad that you have it fixed already.

I just visited their site and I saw the have completely re-done it. It looks awesome and they are apparently working in a Desktop wallet which looks much much better then the mobile version. What are your first impressions?

To say the truth many have issue with the desktop version of coinomi wallet in the past, some lose funds as well maybe malware are to be blame, that i don't know i think its better to use their mobile wallet instead, desktop wallets aren't safe like the mobile versions

The UI its little bit similar with exodus, but this one is more simple and clean (exodus have a modern UI and cool Background). Since i use coinomi in my phone for storing altcoin, looks like i will give a try for this one.

Wow. I haven't downloaded it but it looks like the new update of coinomi rocks.
Well, nothing to download atm since the desktop version is not released yet.
I thought it's already on release, I haven't checked it and believed that it's already in the market since it wasn't detailed.

Can I download Conomi? I'm using it on my cellphone, I want to watch it on my computer
I've been using the app on my smartphone as well and I don't have any problems with it.
You're free to download the app on your phone.

Coinomi wallet on desktop is a new update of coinomi rocks. More people will use it instead of myetherwallet.

MetaMask is still there with its flexibility. There's an update for MetaMask released recently too and it looks great tbh. I doubt many people will move to Coinomi just because they've released their desktop wallet.

Wao, this is a very good development for coinomi and it is more better than the mobile version at least, the features are more visible because of the large screen unlike the mobile app. I hope it will be available for on the for download soon.
