ICO is very volatile things, it is either you win huge or lose huge. It is always be like that from the start. But when you start to earn something which is you never believed it why dont you take the money out and use it on other site? You do not believe in ICO why bothering into playing this from the start then?

Do you even read what is hashbingo wrote? lol.

Thanks for the review hashbingo, it's actually kinda sad, success on ICO and collected a huge amount of money but not use the money to make the site bigger, they have a big potential to become a big poker site tbh.

I played there back in the days right after the ICO. didn't bought into the ICO cause I do not believe in ICOs. So I started grinding the freerolls to make some money. Won several 1000CHP and the started Omaha cashgames. At a certain time I had a balance of almost 100,000CHP and was lucky to have sold them when they still had a tradable value of over 0.10$. So I made nice money.

I agree with Sygambler. They collected a huge amount of money, but instead of creating a brand new platform they used the former TonyGpoker software which can be purchased for a couple 1000$. I also agree with him that coinpoker is partially responsible for the drop in value. They launched an enormous amount of freerolls and they organized a tournament series with giant CHP prizepools. Most of these tournaments didn't get the amount of players needed to reach the guaranteed prizepools so coinpoker had to top up. a couple million CHP were distributed during that series. So a lot of coins got dumped by those who just were after the chp to be able to cashout on the exchange.

So what is my general thought about coinpoker?

pro's
its a nice site to play tournaments, cashgames, short deck poker.
they finally released their decentralised RNG couple months ago which i think is positive.
desktop client, android and IOS
eth and BTC deposits added.

con's
fooled people during ICO by just using a ready made poker platform script worth a couple thousand $
not much traffic
i heard rumours about house players
huge devaluation of their currency.

So i will keep playing over there in freerolls and small buyin tournaments and try to build some CHP bankroll. Maybe in future value will increase again. But i will not deposit large amounts of mone over there. I rather put a couple 100 or 1000s on well reputed fiat poker rooms like 888poker or pokerstars

He already said the he used to play on that website using freerolls meaning he played using the money he got for free from the website. When he got the occasion he sold his earnings and luckily for him it was just at the right time because after that the price of those coins dropped a lot.

To determine how much CHP token holders lost, we need to know how much the CHP token price was when they started to sell it and how much the CHP token price is now?

At the beginning players and investors bought CHP tokens worth $50 millions and now the marketcap is $4 million something. But that does not mean that the CHP token price lost 90% value. It is also possible that CoinPoker bought 90% of the tokens back and for the same price it was sold.

I can't exactly remember  but I'm sure 1 ETH was worth less than 4000 CHP , probably 1ETH was 3500 CHP cause I was planning to buy at that time ( now 1 CHP = 0.000065 ETH)
they didn't buy anything back , at least they would have announced that and as I stated before they kept running freerolls every 30 mins in the past giving away 1000-4000 CHP every 30 minutes as I remember so tons of tokens were in hands of freerollers

Accepting btc would be a great progress for this site since it's the most demanded by gamblers. Unfortunately, I haven't heard of the site you promoted op. I'll just drop by with your site and investigate further and also I'll wait for gamblers who gambles at the and compare their feedbacks.
Same with you, I'll be waiting for someone who already experienced the games inside to share their views and opinions about how this site facilitated and how the team behind take care of their participants, will wait from here OP while also trying to see how things works.

the software isn't good but it's better than all the other bitcoin sites ( except WPN software that is provided by Betcoin , it's not that good as well but it's better than coinpoker IMO )

if you planning to play with BTC or ETH you will be fine , the problem is with their CHP useless token

I like poker. Now that I play poker on several sites, maybe I will try the site that you recommend, especially this site accepts bitcoin and ethereum for deposits and withdrawals.

Where is the OP? I am curious why he is not come back here and explain to us.
I think he is one of the teams behind that project and he wants to promote the site so they can get the member from here and he can also get a new investor.
If they want to get the investor, then they need to promote to another website especially to promote in social media.
But if he only gives a twitter status, then I think we can read or leave it.

OP here... this project has been in the know for a while now, and I just assumed most folks on this forum were aware of it (I guess not?). I was simply pointing out the news they accept BTC now. I'm not in anyway affiliated with CoinPoker (I play a little there, but...)
So what are your observations on playing on this site?

About your assumption, only a few do knows about this sites existence and take a look on previous page you will able to see how this project have some previous issues.
This will mainly affect their reputation.

Yes now so many CoinPoker taking ETH and BTC deposits in their sites. It's really good thing for poker, players can deposits their coins and they use these coins when they need to use. And some poker sites also gives bonus on deposits. I think it's necessary to taking deposits ETC and BTC and it's also create positive influence on online poker sites. Users are no showing more interest on poker sites I think.

they've accept ETH for a little while now, but BTC is pretty cool IMO, maybe it wil bring more traffic to the room (the price of CHP coin is up quite a bit recently too)

"We're excited to announce BTC deposits and new, easy wallet verification with today's update."

lol so funny , so after scamming millions of dollars with the ICO promosing people that CHP will be the next poker boom now the site offering BTC ??

then what was the purpose of the ICO ?? getting that cheap software and then offering normal poker games with BTC ??
this is even worse than Betking
Trying to find some issues about CHP and i found this one https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/scam-and-spam-warning-for-chp-2690254 .Would you mind on sharing up the link
that proves out that CHP ICO scammed out their investors? It would really be a dumb thing if they launched with have corresponding scamming issues.

That is really sad to know. First they develop the gambling site and ask people to use their own CHP coins to gamble on the site. These days people look for the projects and seeing a working gambling site could be a reason where many people bought this token.

Also there is no grantee that they take BTC deposits and run away with all our money.
If you say because a token is back with a gambling site make you to buy into the projects you may not get it right because most of the gambling site's that have they own token's are not doing well in the exchange and their price is almost worthless unless you know any one that is doing good in the market point it out.

You are right but the ICO owner use Gambling sites as a tool to promote their tokens and encourage people to buy their tokens by different methods like
starting a wagering contest on their  gambling site.

Is there proof that CHP token investors lost millions?

they raised over 50m$ and they didn't work at all on the site , they just brought an old poker software from TonyG who partnered with them
here is their thread : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annico-coinpoker-poker-future-is-today-2312197
you can see that they collected over 50m$ at that time

https://icomarks.com/ico/coinpoker

now the marketcap is way less in $ , BTC and ETH
To play at CoinPoker you need to buy the CHP token. But you are not an investor if you buy CHP token to play poker there.

To determine how much CHP token holders lost, we need to know how much the CHP token price was when they started to sell it and how much the CHP token price is now?

Is the OP a promoter of CoinPoker? I guess that if you are then you should try to post here what CoinPoker is, what it does, what service it provides. If they are right now accepting bitcoin deposits then it is now good for them to post in gambling section.

they collected millions of dollars at that time for a product that costs few thousands
they issued their tokens and then started doing unstopped freerolls where no real players were playing , only people who are looking for free money so they win the chips and go dump them on the exchange

just check the graph : https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/coinpoker/

EDIT : they didn't even create the software , many people have confirmed that it's the same one that was used in Tonybet
If thats the case then people should be aware on the stuff they have done in the past. They do still have the face to show after on the things they have done. What a shame!
