Coinrail was one of the most popular crypto exchange in korea.
Though the hacking thing is bad, it's not huge.
Just the hot wallet of the exchange has been compromised of which two third of the coin transaction can be reversed and a police investigation is on the way.

I've never heard of this exchange. Once again, I was convinced that you do not need to store crypto currency on exchanges.

same on you,,
i never heard about this exchange too,,
maybe its better to choose a good exchange such as bittrex, binance etc to trade or store our cryptocurrencies
regards

I agree, you should not keep your savings on the exchanges, it will be more secure in your wallets than on the exchange which security does not depend on you.

That's quite shocking to know. Is there any possibility to regain it back?

There's no, the hackfunds has been permanently moved to the hacker's address and this case is really similar to the coincheck but remember coincheck has decided to refund all of the users. The japan government has been pushing the coincheck firms to give all of the refund to those users were getting an impact due to the hacked case. But i'm not sure coinrail will try to do it then.

Stopping people to panic sell won't happen. There's always been a report that there are traders that will do such thing as panic selling, there are newbies that are coming to the market everyday so expect that this case will never stop.
I've never heard of this exchange. Once again, I was convinced that you do not need to store crypto currency on exchanges.

I remember when the hackers were hacked by the stock exchange, there was also a little panic, but people understand that money is not back and not tracked. Therefore, it is necessary to start again with the accumulation of funds.

Coinrail exchange got hacked today and many coins and tokens were stolen. Among those over 2 billion NPSX tokens were taken plus storm, dent jibril tokens and others. Pundi X team is assisting Coinrail and have frozen the smart contract so that the hacker's wallet can be frozen but of cours ehe already sold some on idex and panic sellers are selling their tokens. I urge everyone never panic sell because of a hacker and also do not have all your coins ever on exchanges, save for those you wish to day trade at a particular time otherwise you could be in trouble. Just my 2 cents.
