Is unfortunate most traders don't learn. Why do you keep your valuable assets on an exchange that can get hacked anytime. Moreso an coinrail, an exchange which don't take security more serious.

I do not have a pndix coin, but I know little about pundix development, for some of the first holders of pundix coin, I think they've gotten the advantage.

but after Bitcoin fell to $ 5K, Pundix fell drastically. till topunday pundix has no value.

and I think the maximum price of pundix coin when the bullish market is $ 0.05. and will not be more than that.

I feel the story with Coinrail hack and Pundix smell bad.
1. Why does Pundix do ICO at first? They are having a product almost ready. They could make it presale... I mean they could get money out of nothing much easier way.
2. What if they don't have a product nearby ready? Or facing some technical bottlenecks to release it? Then it makes sense to do this shit with token hodlers and mock the robbery....
Well, the history will settle it for us, but currently this story is awkward and not clear at least.

What's the lack? Hackers are getting money in every few days from exchanges, this is shameful to exchanges developers. I wonder how those exchanges are running with huge trade volume that can't take users responsibility and can't assure the security. I'm feeling sorry for them who loses their money in this criminal activities.
I've read that coinrail will stores their assets in a cold storage after the hacking occured. I mean, what they are doing with their security before they got hacked? they just wanted to fix something that's not right only when it becomes a disastrous problem and people are losing money. This kind of exchange is what grind my gears the most, they just can't get thing right until something really bad happened, really hope that they learn from it so that they will improve their security everytime because no system is safe.
security issues is a weakness in conventional markets, it seems they have never learned about previous theft incidents at other exchangers and improving their security systems to minimalize this problem. I think it's time to moving on DEX  Grin

Agree. They never learn or they are just too confident with the security that they have.
They are holding a lot of money and I dont think they should just sit around letting the previous security measures do the job. Everything changes and hackers will always be there to do something about it just to get through ones security.
They must keep on changing how they defend the money or maybe an upgrade.

This could be a big panic for most of the PundiX holders here.
But rest assured the problem is being resolved.
Bitcoin is also affected and we can see that now with the recent decrease in price.

Dear Pundians, to assist the fight against cyber criminal activity, we’ve extended the halt of NPXS transactions based on the the request of KNPA Cyber-terror investigation team of Korean National Police Agency. We hope Coinrail hack incident can be resolved soon. Rest assured. Pundi X is NOT hacked and all the transaction are pending. Once the suspension is lifted, all the transactions will be resumed. The bad news, but price PundiX fell not so much and I'm sure the project will continue to develop no matter what.

Yes, I can still feel I am in profit despite all of that. It's ICO price should be like .001 USD after the swap.

It's good that I sold this token in time , but thank you for the news , perhaps it will affect the price of the token and you can buy it much cheaper .

Is it really a good decision that you have made?
If this shoots up to a price no one expecting then you might regret it.
I did regret selling a large portion of it. Somehow I got to buy back at a lower price so I am still in large profit by now.
But I am missing like 5k USD if the other funds was not sold.

Everyone do have its own decision which we can sell off anytime as long we are profited and no matter which coin we do hold up if the price shoots up out of our expectation then anyone would really feel out that regret. When it regards on recent development and updates with Pundix, developers are quite active which we can really presume that price will still bump up on upcoming month or years. Depending on the situation thats why we do have different way on purchasing up this coin. Buy low sell high is just a basic thing.

I don´t think that PundiX has nothing to worry about, it is a good product in general but I think that it may be surpassed by more technologically advanced ones.

This invasion not only caused many customers to suffer a great deal of losses, but even the trading platform could not operate. The market's market conditions were also greatly affected. I am now more worried about the security of cryptocurrencies!

Is the crypto currency so vulnerable that the theft from private wallets on the little-known Coinrail exchanger in South Korea, albeit for a larger amount - over $ 40 million, of which the PundiX token ring is $ 19.5 million, so strongly influenced the overall market decline? Now bitcoin, ethereum and other crypto currencies have fallen in price by more than ten percent. If this is so, investing in the Crypto currency is rather risky. Still, the best way is to output profit  it to fiat. So it will be more reliable.

Pundix is affected imagine 3% of the entire supply is being stolen but i dont see it would really be on big matter since 3% isnt too much and talking about Bitcoin it is mainly affected when we do talk about exchange hacks and we are definitely seeing it right now which isnt really suprising. Even a minor or non so popular exchange can really put affect too much on the entire market.

Terribly sorry for those investors who put their cryptocurrency in coinrail. Now I know what is the source of the sudden price drop of the market. To those users who deposit in coinrail, there is a slight chance that they will recover their funds. It is best to leave it on the expert and wait for the news. And just move on, it is best next time to store your cryptocurrency in your own wallet.

But there are some coins that are erc and have to be store with mew wallet, are those safe especially where the keys are not exposed?

Again, some times you don't have choice than to transfer your coins to an exchange for trade, so you can't just keep your coins in a personal wallet.

Is an unfortunate incident though.

Yes that is the most unfortunate ones. The orders that have been made specially those who are in selling order. They might have just left it before the hack was done.
You could wait for your order to be filled up. That is the safety method you could do then get it back to your wallet which is the safer place for all your coins.
It had been said here frequently. Never store your tokens in an exchange. We can see again what could happen.

this is another proof that cryptocurrency is still vulnerable to hacker attacks and is not too concerned with data security and assets of investors, although many ICOs provide data security, but that is not a guarantee that our data security and assets are guaranteed

It is an exchange that had been attacked not the crypto currency. They should be the one who is careful. History already told it but they didn't take precautionary measure.
