OK
Network is synced.
Coins are there ...
AHhhhh
Thank you . Now I don't know if the other wallet of BitcoinABC contains coins or not...

Thanks for the help !

What other wallet of BitcoinABC? You shoud have one empty wallet.dat when you first open the BitcoinABC client, then the copied wallet.dat from the Bitcoin Core folder which you should have emptied first (by sending your BTC to other addresses, to avoid problems). This wallet.dat that is now empty in Bitcoin Core, should show up with the BCH that you should have received during the split. You can send now these coins to an exchange to dump or whatever, but make sure that you did the step of moving your coins in your Bitcoin Core wallet to another wallet first because it seems you just copy-pasted the same wallet and didn't do this step.

if you want to claim bitcoin cash better to use other wallet app than your bitcoin wallet app.

i'm using Electron Cash wallet, you can follow this tutorial :

Good luck!

Yes.
I installed it on a different folder , made a backup of my wallet and used BitcoinABC to clone a Cash wallet

Now the newtwork sync is 99.5% and my coins re-appeared but syncing of the network stopped. It doesn't go forward now. I am really confused of what is going on here.

No , my bitcoin-QT wallet is zero balance.
I hope it will get back when the network sync is over.
I removed bitcoin-ABC now . Just want to see my coins back...

Did you install the Bitcoin-ABC client in a different folder?

Notice that the bastards developing Bitcoin-ABC set the default Bitcoin folder for both the binaries and the blockchain files.

So this means, if you install Bitcoin-ABC in the same computer as you have your Bitcoin-QT (Core) client, the Bitcoin-ABC will overwrite everything on these folders...

You should also not use the same wallet.dat file on your Bitcoin-ABC folder until you move all of your coins into a new wallet.dat, then, use the existing wallet.dat (now empty in the Bitcoin blockchain) into the Bitcoin-ABC folder and when you sync it you will be safe to move your BCH around.

You are talking about the BitcoinABC wallet, right? It's normal that the balance is zero If you have not synchronized with the network. If you are paranoid, you could simply check your addresses at blockdozer to see If they have any balance on them. If you want to speed things up, just export the private keys from it and import them to Coinomi android wallet.

I had Bitcoin-core sync with my wallet.
I installed on the same computer Bitcoin ABC , made a wallet backup and used the same wallet in ABC.
I made some transactions to check but saw that the wallet cannot sync so I re-built indexes .
Now the balance is 0 !
I am waiting for the network to sync now . Very worried . Don't know what to do !!!
