Thanks for the tutorial. My question is: Does Bittrex generate a new deposit address once you send the coins? Because I want to keep my privacy by sending BTC separately in different batches, and for that I need the exchange to generate new receiving addresses each time.

This is I haven't done this yet, it will take a lot of time for me to send all the coins separately, and I haven't even found an exchange that doesn't keep giving me the same deposit address each time yet.

No way im sending all of my bitcoin in a single address.

Bittrex has one fixed deposit address for your account.

Thanks, in that case I will not even bother with Bittrex. I will need to find any other exchange that allows you to maintain privacy. Not that I was going to bother anyway. Bittrex has now limited new accounts to 0.025 BTC withdraws unless you send them all kinds of personal information which is nonsense. I want to trade crypto to another crypto, why they need to know my real name, address, place of birth etc.. it's ridiculous. I don't trust a crypto exchange with my personal info at all.
It is true that Bittrex has limited to creating new accounts.
Bittrex must have a KYC that can be made for Bitcoin Withdrawals.

But even though Binance is the same, only the Bitcoin limit is withdrawn around 2 Bitcoin / day for no KYC.

It is not look like so profitable and reliable doing so if I were you I would have never do this. Be patient, wait for the better time and do not make mistakes.

I don't support the idea of such manipulations. It is unnecessary at all and you will only will has losses after the process. Be more patient and analyze this case.

I went into my Bitcoin ABC client to 'dumpwallet' my private keys (so I can then sweep them into Electrum), yet it doesn't work - I get errors.

you need Bitcoin Cash wallet, not Bitcoin wallet.
try Electron Cash it should works fine.

Thank you for such a detailed guide. But please remove the short link and give the full link. What if the link sends to a phishing site? Thanks for understanding.

this is best time to buy BCH, i think it will rise to 0.18 btc at least within next weeks.
Best time to buy BCash is: literally never. It's a P&D shitcoin that will leave you with empty pockets if you get greedy.

this is not true, BCH had many great pumps with up to +%20 within one hour.
it gives huge profits for smart investors on it.

no i guess it works only for addresses starts with number '1'

This is the big problem! I cannot understand why the Bitcash Team with their billions and billions of capitalisation didn't invest a few bucks for some developer to actually make it possible for people who were keeping their Bitcoins in a safe Electrum multisig address to claim their Bitcash!

maybe it works, i didn't try actually. you may give it a try.

Quick question. Redeeming Bitcoin Cash simply depends on the balance at the time of the fork, correct?
In other words, if the amount of Bitcoin is no longer there, should not be an issue, right? I should be able to verify this using the history of the wallet.

Thanks to anyone taking the time to answer.  Smiley

yes right.
if you have old wallets, you should check them too, maybe it has bitcoin cash even if no bitcoin is available at the moment.
