...If I cannot buy that coin from one of the recognized platforms such as Binance, then how can I buy this coin, and any other that is not listed there?...

There is nothing easier to find the exchange you are interested in on which CAPP is traded, how to use coinmarketcap: https://coinmarketcap.com/ru/currencies/cappasity/markets/ And in this case, we see that the CAD coin is traded only on KuCoin and apart from this exchange, it is not traded anywhere else.

Hi, guys

New into crypto. New into Binance.

I just tried to buy some coins but it seems that they are not in Binance.

Just as an example: According to https://coinmarketcap.com/view/vr-ar/ the coin with ticker CAPP is in top 5 in the VR category. However it is not present in Binance, so I cannot buy it. I assume it is just not listed there for some reason.

If I cannot buy that coin from one of the recognized platforms such as Binance, then how can I buy this coin, and any other that is not listed there?

Again - this coin is just for the sake of the example.

Registering on Binance is not a prerequisite for crypto investing, as there are many other exchanges that crypto can trade on. Even today's most popular swap platforms are considered highly decentralized. But why can coins listed on Binance survive, because the Binance community is bigger and there is a great gathering of reliable investors. You can search the source exchange for each coin you wish to invest. If you only have money on the Binance exchange, you can send it to the exchange where you bought the coin.

Binance is only one of many biggest centralised exchanged there are many big centralised exchanger like kucoin, bittrex, bithumb. Or you also can find the token on decentralised exchanger like uniswap/pancakeswap etc.. just look at the exchanger section on every token/coin in coinmarketcap

it seems to always check correctly and if it's not on binance it's not something to be questioned, because obviously everyone has limitations in every exchange and doesn't have to accommodate what we want, but must think otherwise, want to follow what is already in binance.

maybe the way out that you can do is just do a swap, it will certainly be easier and can represent what you want. All exchanges obviously have their own rules and details which may not be in line with you thoughts and not necessarily if it's not on binance, coin it's not good.

It costs projects up to 1 million USD to list on Binance. Not every project wants or is able to afford that. You can trade any token on decentralized exchanges but you need to learn how to use metamask. If you can't understand metamask try NEAR protocol, it has a decentralized exchange (Ref Finance) that allows you to trade a large number of cryptos and NEAR is as easy to use as checking your email.

Binance is a very large exchange, but it is not able to have all coins and tokens in its offer.
CAPP is not yet listed on Binance, but it may be in the future.
If you want to check where you can trade a coin or token, you can check it on Coingecko. You have to choose the coin you are interested in and then open the "Markets" tab.
In the case of CAPP, such information can be found here:

actually using simple research you can see where the particular coin listed.. And fyi not all coins that listed in CMC can be traded in binance exchange because there's a bunch of exchanges out there.. And basically what you see within binance platform are the project only that pays for the listing.. So if you didn't see the coin on it that means it's not available.. Better to check the site of that project to see what platform is available for it ..

If you’re planning to buy any coin, and since you’re a newbie, I will advise you to be buying coins that have high liquidity. Yeah you should buy coins that are listed on top exchanges ,  and not just any random exchange.

As for this coin you’re talking about, I’ve never heard of it before, but maybe you should check it out on coinmarketcap.com and see if it’s there, and if it’s listed on the website you can click on it and look for which exchanges it is listed on. Then after you have seen the exchange I will also advise you to do a research on that exchange and know how good it is. But, if you wouldn’t like to use any other exchange apart from binance then I will advise you to just keep buying the ones that are made available on the binance exchange.

the OP as he said is new in crypto and even a new user in binance, so maybe he thought that any coin is listed in binance. he's finding out that even top coins let's say in VR is not yet listed in binance. because it depends on the project, if they haven't applied for binance, they won't be in binance. only few lucky projects like shib are being listed in binance without the dev's application.
with cmc, as he already knows it, he can easily check the markets a project is listed with. and if it is a dex, he can just connect his wallet and no need to create an account. he has a lot of things to learn here.but one thing is, don't follow the fud, because you can easily get rekt if you follow them. do your own research and act according to your instincts.

If there is a coin or token listed on Binance then this is like a guarantee that the coin will last for a long time, Binance is the largest exchange network so coins that already have a great reputation are there. if the coin is new it will take some time to be accepted on Binance.

It's like a "guarantee", but in the "real world" there's no such thing! Binance can list any coin, the same they can delist it... so before getting into some new project don't rely just on that one thing, did Binance list that one or not!

I don't think there is an exchange with all coins and tokens listed! There are too many of them, and most of them are holding despite many people calling them scams... so when you wish to check some new coin or token the simplest thing is to check look at coinmarketcap or coingecko, and there you can check where are they listed, volume, and that kind of things.

Of course you can find the source of the exchange where the coin is listed, in Coinmarketcap have the trading record of the coin. You can register a particular exchange, then transfer a stable coin or other to that exchange, and you buy the coin you want. It's actually something very easy to do. You only need to learn one exchange, and you will master all exchanges. If you have mastered Binance, of course other exchanges are easier. Because Binance has more features than other exchanges. You just need to see if the exchange requires KYC, if so, then you have to complete KYC first.

Not all coins will be in binance, even when you feel it is a nice coin and has a promising future. To buy the coin, you only need to open the information in CMC by clicking the coin you want, then select the Market tab, and you can see in which market coins are list.
However, not all coins that you don't think are good list of billions because the binance list requires a large cost and has good coin quality according to them.

There are roughly more than 3000 coins and tokens are available right now in this crypto space hence you cannot expect each and every token and coin to be listed on one single crypto exchange.

There are many services are available to find out all the information about most of the cryptocurrencies like where it is being traded and what are its social media handles and etc. Coinmaketcap and coingecko are the two services I am using for this purposes. If these two services are not covering your coin or token and then you need to assume like your coin is still in early stage or it is a scammy one which never hits any exchange; even delisted information can be found from these services.

Most new coins especially BSC-based tokens are usually available on Pancakeswap, it takes a long process to get registered on Binance because the Binance team is very selective in accepting new coins, even in my opinion trading on PancakeSwap is easier and faster than on Binance which has to deposit and withdraw with fees which is more expensive.

To find our what exchanges coins are trade on you should open the page of this coin on Coinmarketcap for example CAPP and scroll down the page. Then click "read more" and there will be field "Cappacity markets" where you can find all exchanges and available pairs. In terms of CAPP it is trade only on Kucoin and can be exchanged either to Bitcoin or Ethereum.

not all coins are on the exchange because sometimes they have their own market.
but on the other hand maybe I can suggest CMC as a benchmark and reference to see the coin market itself.
as for binance why do you buy and expect the coin you buy to enter the binance exchange when the coin is clearly not there.
Coins on Binance, in particular, are usually listed on the exchange after a series of rigorous selections.
So, if you want to get the coins on Binance, you have to buy the coins there because it's clear they're already registered

Welcome aboard.

If Binance is not listed the coin, you can search from the other exchanges to buy it directly. Binance listed the coin that has a good performance so if they think that the coin does not have performed in the short or medium term, they will not be listed but they can list that coin in the future if they see a good performance in their track record.

Maybe you should search for the other coins in Binance and analyze if that coin is good enough to buy and hold or trade it. Many other coins can give you profit from Binance so maybe you can leave the coin and try to find the other coins.

If it's not worth it, they won't list it. Then, there is the payment needed to be listed. How can you buy a coin that is not listed on Binance? Contact the developer directly or their marketing team. If they have discord or telegram channel, you may be able to get in touch with him.
Also, you may have a problem with their wallet so better to check the whole project first on how you are going to keep a coin that is not listed in any exchange. Perhaps they have their stand-alone wallet application. Lastly, be careful, do your research.

As obvious if cmc doesn't show that it's not on binance then it's not there. You have to click that coin on that list then see what's with the market. It will show you the exchanges where they're listed and that's where you can buy and trade and sell that token for good.
Not every project is in binance because they have standards to make and if the new projects wanting to be listed there didn't pass the standards, do not expect them to be there.
