Being under $1 is not very relevant, because it also matters what the total supply is.
For example, Cardano is $0.7 but the market cap is over 15 billion.
On the other side, Spectrecoin is $3 but the market cap is only 60 million.
Which of them is cheaper? Spectrecoin is 250 times cheaper if we would consider the coins being equal, even though the price is 4 times as high.
Don't look at the coin price. Look at the market cap and the maximum supply. You will get a much better idea about the price of a coin.

The hate with IOTA is strong, I'd be extra careful when investing in that coin. The price is not going to stay at $1 for that long if that keeps going.IOTA is a good project. I feel it is a little careless on the part of its developers, supposedly there is only hope that they have taken it out again. But the same is good project.

Well! I pulled the trigger for the ER20 Token ETHORSE (HORSE). Purely for investment value although it seems a bit risky.
Reasons:
-Medium size max supply of 125,000,000. Not as high as others with total supply of billions but ideally I prefer lower than 100 millions.
-Low market cap of 13.5 Millions so plenty of space to grow.
-Low price of 0.15$ at the moment of writing this. After the ICO initialy the price went up but then crashed so I jumped in during the dip.
-Working product. Although I am not particularly interested in betting.
I did my research and took an evaluated risk. We will see!

I think XEM, nxt, power, ledger, quanstamp, ETN could potentially be 10us next year because the project performance and their team can be said pretty good what else ETN and power can still say very young coins because they just came out last year so mid if they can touch the number 10us I think that's a great achievement.
I look in to new token that just tradeable in the market and they has good concept, big community in telegram, and also has minimum viable product. These token could be has big potential and the price possibility to going up to 10 times in this year and the price still cheap below $1, these token are : Utrust, Indahash, Bitdegree and Devery.

Well, i know many people want to get good coin under $1 because its easier to turn into 100% compare with high price altcoin like etherium for example. But they dont know that they will be in high risk if they choose it because sometime its not promissing altcoin.
Substratum and Cindicator are my choices but please understand that this is only a recommendation and does not guarantee that It will hit $10 in the future. I still consider myself not yet expert when it come to digital currencies. I just read what these cryptos are capable of.
Electroneum (ETN) is a good coin. many experts recommend to invest here, I also have invested some funds here. end of 2018 this coin will fly to the moon.
BNTY - even though people like to preach it has a rock solid team i'm not so sure about that. I do however think reddit has the power to keep pushing this one further so i'm firm here.
DBC - these neo icos have china behind them and i'm with it too
LINDA - taking a long shot on a masternode here. Didn't get in at 2sat but i think 30 sat entry isn't terrible place to accumulate for the next year. Long on linda for the longshot maybe i think masternode with the nhybrid pow/pos chain is positive. The coin circulation is low in comparison to total supply so it's definitely up to the devs to not flood the market. As long as they are smart about the coin supply i think linda has a great shot!!

They have things they need to work out as far as announcing issues and vulnerabilities they find to the public. HOWEVER $blues main goal is to help secure the crypto sphere, not just eth addresses and they are going to continue booming in the long term. Wallet available on google chrome.

Many people already said that market cap is more important information than price of one coin when you are looking for good investment opportunities. You should calculate the 10 times of current total market cap of that cryptocurrency and then decide if that 10 times bigger market cap is possible and realistic in one year time.
For example Verge is interesting project with secure and private payments in focus and it seems cheap at 10 cents so one could say, Why not, it will reach 1 USD in 2018. But when you calculate the market cap at price 1 USD per XVG you get 13 billion USD, which is, in my opinion overrated.

You should invest in Oyster Protocol PRL. It's nice and huge and it will explode next month.
What I mean they're big because they have a very good project that website owners would love this anonymous storage service from iota tangle.
PRL(Oyster Protocol) is my choice,also. The coin is now around 1$, the testnet of the project starts 31st Jan, after then coin is expected to grow high.
My second choice is LEND coin, I think it have a good potential.
Electroneum, Vibe, NXT, IGNIS. But i choose Electroneum to hold because electroneum is one of top ICO in 2017 and i believe if price can reach 1$ in this year
NXT is under $ 1, I can not predict it will be $ 10 in the next year but this coin will likely reach $ 1 at the end of the year. This is just my opinion, you can find information to better know more complete information.
