I think there is an very good reason for that, tokens will leave the erc20 chain and will have their own fast, non clogged blockchain. I think this is clip and clear

If you are looking for masternode coin then you should check masternodes.pro or mnrank.com because they have a good list of masternode coin. Personally I own monoeci and crown masternode, also have boscoin and excuse but their masternode is not ready yet. Masternode is good for passive income, the only concern is whether the project will stay alive for a few years so pick one with solid foundation not a huge apr.

I have heard about couple new projects that just came from ico stage that will announce or already announced masternode launch. Apex, DADI(10k,100k,1m tokens), Fusion - 5k tokens, TeFood. Most of them give 10-20% yearly return.

For me coins with Masternodes are prone to dumping and are only beneficial to the rich who can afford to acquire the masternodes as an investment. They always end up being dumped on causing a massive decline in price once the added staking rewards brought by masternodes came out.

regarding with eth that's still not being confirmed by the team and its still an speculations but if they will do it i guess its nice to have
