Can you facilitate domestic BTC -> Western Union/Vanilla Reload/Bank Of America Deposit/ETC currency conversions? (To facilitate paying bills with BTC, For example.)

Also, You should simplify in your OP that your service specializes in being a purchasing proxy. Perhaps post in the title "U.S. based purchasing proxy service" to make that more clear. Wink
Thanks for your question and feedback! We can indeed facilitate paying bills with BTC. However, in order to avoid FinCEN issues we can't convert directly to other currencies.

Your post gives us a good opportunity to announce that we have exciting changes coming to our website and services offered. Stay tuned for updates coming soon!

I think this is a great idea. I apologize if this was mentioned in the FAQ and I missed it, but I imagine you'd also be willing to ship to US-based addresses if someone wanted to anonymize a purchase?
Hi, thanks for your question. Yes, we certainly can do this! Just submit the form on our site to get started Smiley

I sent a PM, but then thought I'd ask publicly, too, in case others have similar questions.

I see in your FAQ a list of prohibited items, but is that list a "no matter what" list or just by final destination?

For instance, here in Kansas it's completely legal for me to have firearm accessories shipped to my door, like say I want to buy a new AR-15 upper half.  (not a complete gun, the lower half (lower receiver specifically) has the serial number and requires a FFL transfer).

I'm not sure of Florida gun laws, but I think you Floridians can have various firearm accessories shipped to you, too?

So are you just taking a "we won't do these no matter what" purchases, or are you willing to have wiggle room for states that it is legal to do so?

I've had my eye on a new Spike's upper for a while, but since Amazon doesn't do those kinds of items, I've been having to wait. Smiley
Hi, thanks for your question. Yes, unfortunately we must strictly adhere to our prohibited and restricted items policy, in this case "Firearms, weaponry and their parts". While Coinsfer.com is as pro-gun as can possibly be (in fact, we own many of them Smiley), if we don't make every effort to comply with the arbitrary laws of the gang of highway robbers calling themselves the "U.S. government", they will throw us in cages (or worse). And you can bet that the "U.S. government" is just itching to take down people like us who provide an alternative to the entrenched payment systems of their banker bosses... if you catch my drift Wink

Again, sorry that we cannot help on this specific purchase, but we would love to work with you on other purchases.

Well, the shipping ($28.08) we unfortunately have no control over, that's just how much it costs to ship your item international. The handling ($10) is approximately what it actually costs us to order your product, ship it, etc. Lastly the 5% tip ($10.90) is our actual profit on the whole order. $10.90 is not really a ton of profit in USD, just enough to make it worthwhile really, but a big part of the reason we're doing this is just to further the cause of Bitcoin internationally. But, it's up to you Smiley

Don't get me wrong, I figured where these costs were coming from Smiley

Shipping to and from EU is just....ridiculously expensive, I've had to cancel some "sell item x for Bitcoin" plans because of that (50$ for a box under 2 kg to US, takes at least 2 weeks to arrive, seriously?)

Your profit margin is indeed fairly low, and it wasn't my intention to criticize it Smiley

The only other cost to factor in, for me, would be import fees, which can run up to another 35 euro or more, so it wouldn't be worth it, if you factor everything in....

As I said, I'll think about it Smiley I just posted the details to give people an idea of what to expect Smiley

How can you expect it to be cheap for a US company to ship something internationally?

In addition to our normal purchasing service, we now support subscriptions as well. For example, we recently had a customer inquiry about purchasing a subscription to http://ustvnow.com - a service which provides U.S. TV channels overseas. We are providing this subscription for just $39/mo! If you're interested in a subscription to other online services, please let us know and we will provide a quote.

Important note: for the time being we are only taking a limited number of subscription accounts. We currently have 3 subscription accounts remaining, so contact us now!

50$ more expensive for S&H? It's a bit over the top if you ask me....I'll think this over, but by the current look of it, I'll have to pass Smiley

I REALLY suggest you ask your customers to post about their positive success either in this thread or in some kind of subreddit. It helps a TON with building reputation and getting people to fucking love you.
By the way, we are totally working on this. Of course, Bitcoin buyers love their anonymity, not to mention that the process of purchasing U.S.-only items, waiting for them to ship to our U.S. address, then waiting for them to ship overseas can take a week or two. But, all in due time Smiley
