This feature would enable us to accommodate security-sensitive requests such as resetting two-factor authentication, assisting with wallet configurations, changing your linked email address and other accounts.
Although most of our account validation procedures are automated, there are times when our customers would request for sensitive changes to their account. When we receive these requests, we may not always have enough information to verify you and to authorize the requested changes.
To enable this, we just need to schedule a 5-minute video call with you (Skype, Google, Viber, etc.) that our customer support will refer to should you require assistance from Coins.ph. We will securely store information you provide and retrieve it for identification confirmation should you ever reach out to us for assistance.
Schedule your call

Hi coins, I got the email above. I don't have any security-sensitive requests for now, I will not be needing to reset two-factor or assisting with wallet configurations except maybe request new deposit addresses after every transaction.
I notice that my wallet addresses do not change. Ever. Even after sending more than once to the address. There should be a button or link that allows you to change an address after it has been used and has confirmations or blocks behind it, or that should be automatic.
I don't need to reach out for that kind of assistance.
anyone have an idea on what exactly the information they need to request for a video call? didn't they get an ID with picture and a picture of you holding that ID?....now they want to see my what?...a recorded video/audio of us maybe..they should tell us what they really want to achieve with that video call.
I agree with the wallet address change button.. Its getting uncomfortable with the amount of bitcoins that passed in my BTC address there since 2014, specially now that BTC ~6000$
I'm also wondering about what they want and really why. First it was to improve service and security - then it changed to a KYC requirement.

Whenever I hear an exchange or business platform threatening to limit access to funds - for whatever reason. Alarm bells start ringing.
Heres why: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJdYRgH0IpE
I really don't mind doing the video verification thing - but when the Coins.ph team don't even show up at the time I booked its not acceptable.
Has anybody actually done one of these interviews? If you have - can you please explain how the interview is structured and content. Coins.ph it might also be a good idea to publish a program or agenda for the interviews so that people know whats going on and they can plan. Thats usually how professional folk run a meeting.
I don't like wasting time and it does not paint a professional picture of the "Team"
I'm still waiting 3 days for Johanna to get back with a new time for the video call their team missed. Miguel has never replied to my last mssg over 3 days ago. They have read my messages but now not replying. If you have not watched the video above - check it out. Silence is a BAD thing.
