Had a coinsplit with a bit of change in it i wanted to clear out. Modified split to have one share, paid in the rest needed to hit the payout limit, and it didnt empty the account, it only sent about half back and left the other half in the account. Tried to email dev but no response.

I’ve signed up to coinsplit and sent bitcoin to the wallet address shown when I login and create my share. I can see the transactions confirmed on Blockchain but nothing is showing on my coinsplit account. It just displays “no transactions”.

could you please help? I have double checked the bitcoin address and everything seems fine.

I can PM you details of the transactions.

Thanks

Edit: Developer got back to me, all sorted now Smiley

I'm having the same issue, have been able to use the service before, but the last 2 payments have not preformed the split between the shares.

https://coinsplit.io/scheme/1686/

have tried contacting thru email

Edit: Developer got back to me, all sorted now Smiley

Users can pay me optional 0.05 % fee. Currently, it only covers hosting needs. But I hope it will grow in future.

souds like a great service to organise your payments to different sources
but I wonder where is your profit in all of this?
you claim the service is free, yet there is nothing free in this world,so how do you pay for servers/hosting etc.?
is it purely donation based or you take a fee through transactions?

Coinsplit had just turned two years! More than 3000 BTC was transferred through the service in 10 000 transactions.

Take a look at this perfect example hot to use it - https://coinsplit.io/scheme/554/ - just send some coins to Wallet and they will be distributed among organisations, like maps.org, wikileaks.org, bitcoinnotbombs.com automatically.

Congratulations for this great service i have been using it from a year ago and i can confirm it works flawlessly, keep the good work dev

I've updated the serivice. Now you can signin/signup using Google auth.

To add Google to the existing profile you should:
- open profile page
- click Manage connections link
- push Add Google Account button.

Now, if you have F2A enabled in you google account, you can use it to login to coinsplit.

Yes, you can login with the google account and 2FA, but it's still possible to login with the coinsplit account itself, without 2FA.

Generate 100 characters random password and forget it immediately. Smiley
Or create new account using Google from the very beginning

I've started to use this service a couple of days ago, and it does it's intended purpose easily and reliably.

However, I for one don't have complete confidence in the security, there's just a password protection, and that's it.
If someone gains access to an account, they can easily change the forwarding address without you knowing.
If our accounts could be secured with 2FA, that would really be a whole lot better!

Only other "complaint" I have (and this is really nitpicking), is that it's impossible to set a share to 0.
For instance, if I have a scheme which splits the incoming funds to 2 addresses: I have 2 shares of 50.
If I would want to temporarily send all funds to one of those addresses, I have to delete the other one.
It would be easier to just set the share size of the wallet you wish to ignore for now, to 0.

Come to think of it: there is one more thing: I can't delete old schemes which are no longer in use.

But that's even less of an issue, just a little annoyance.

I would be happy to donate some coins if this could be resolved!
