Damn. This is crazy! Do you think it would have been taken down if it didn't say COINYE anywhere on it? Would it have been removed if it just said COYE?

Ebay removes all digitally delivered goods anyways. Even if it wasn't coinye but bitcoin or something, they will remove it. I've stopped selling one bay for that reason.

How about the Devs approach the Zerocoin people (http://zerocoin.org/), to use its features and then change the name one and for all. I think the media attention is dwindling and Zerocoin features would give people a reason to use it. Just a thought im not an expert.

Except for a couple of things. First of all, the coin logo still shows the COINYE word right on it. Second of all, who the hell gives a shit about whatever the hell KOI would be? Coinye is popular because of all the media attention. Once you "rebrand" it, you also lose all of that attention. Who is gonna care about it? Why would they care about it? What would be the purpose of the coin? Right now its purpose it to be a parody coin to Kanye. Once that's gone, it'll become just another alt-currency with no one caring about it. Why would an exchange pick up this coin? What will give it value? Nothing. If this coin makes it, it will make it as Coinye.

Yeah, no shit it says COINYE on it! I didn't design this.... that was just an example. Obviously, the COINYE would be replaced with KOI.

They are the same, is just a discussion about changing the name to avoid the lawsuit related problem. All the coin your mentioned used the same blockchain, so its the same coin.

COXE is the name given by crycurex.com to avoid legal issue.
KOI was another one of the many proposed name.

So keep you coin, they are still valuable.
