Hey everybody,

we need a little bit more hashpower! Network Hashrate --> 0,4 GH/s

THX

It would help if the pools not going down all the time, like dedicated before and just moments ago pool.coinye.pm.

I work the last two days on pool.coinye.pm, everthing fine there...

difference in our configuration was he had thread-concurrency much lower  (8192) and intensity at 20. Since I upped the thread-concurrency from 8192 to 22880 and lowered Intensity to 16, I got higher WU and higher  shares/s

mining question: it seems like when i tweak my gpu to the max i get a little more kh/s but it looks like i get less accepted shares. There not rejected but the accepted share count just seems lower when you time this for a few minutes running two different configs..

Yup higher intensity doesn't mean higher shares, with my 6970 and Intensity=16 i have higher shares and WU then when I put it on I=17
So what does that "WU" stand for? Im trying to figure out some sort of test to see what gives me highest number of accepted shares

WU:  The Work Utility defined as the number of diff1 shares work / minute
     (accepted or rejected).

You want this as close to your sharerate. For example, my 6970 does at I=16 and thread-concurrency at 12288 -g=1, 440kh/s and WU 427/m at the moment, with varrdif of the pool at 128.
Thanks, i've got a timer here, running it with different configs for exactly 15 minutes to see the best result and then i'll stick to that

I started noticing it when someone in another pool mining fastcoin had the same card as me but tweaked to the max and getting almost 500kh/s despite he having a higher hashrate I had most of the time the same or higher shares then him in the pool.

Also I noticed if a pool uses varrdiff and your gpu is not ballanced, your diff will be jumping all the time resulting in  eratic sharerate.

Sorry for the noob question but...
1 satoshi = 1 btc?
thanks

0.01 btc = 1 satoshi

1 Satoshi = 0.00000001 BTC

So finnaly 0.01 btc = 1 satoshi? or 0.000000001 btc = 1 satoshi
A Satoshi is the smallest fraction of a Bitcoin that can currently be sent: 0.00000001 BTC (zeven zeros)

ok thanks Smiley

east1.us.stratum.dedicadedpool.com down? pool hash rate is a bit low

1. Try west1 --> its working
2. There was one guy with 25 Mh/s was previously mining in this pool. Looks like he and some others re-directed their hash to other coins/pools Smiley

Looks like stratum+tcp://east1.us.stratum.dedicatedpool.com is down, but stratum+tcp://west1.us.stratum.dedicatedpool.com is still working.
