Hi,

How could I see the remaining blocks for retargeting difficulty?

thanks

Easiest thing you can do is log into any COYE pool.
Currently there are 48 blocks left until retarget.

thanks, I'm mining at cryptoworld pool... i read wich is the current block (9554) but I don't see wich should be the last block until retarget.

i never mined DOGE outside of hashcows/middlecoin.

im here to make money. BTC is the money.
altcoins are simply the means to an end to get the BTC in my pocket. (and later down the road, USD in my pocket)

the sooner you realize this, the happier you will be dumping shitcoins while the getting is good.
there will be no shortage of morons holding the bag, but i wont be one of them.

While on principle I agree with you (and follow the same philosophy), the real bagholders are not anybody who reads these forums. The REAL bagholders are those outside the crypto community who we can convince to buy these coins. COYE has that chance just like DOGE did. We are here for the day that COYE can be bought by the masses who want it as a joke or as an FU to kanye.

Calling the people here bagholders is short sighted since you will never make as much from these "bagholders" as the true ones outside the community.

Sorry, there are so many DOGE haters that are just annoying. We are all in crypto world for that reason of course and I hate shitcoins (although they are god for spreading hashpower). But this coin IS different, it has a story behind it and it has a purpose and it's so damn fun unlike any other currency out there (except for DOGE). Yes, I am here to make money, but I'm making tons of money (for where I live) anyway so I can give myself a break and just enjoy the fun that this coin is giving me Smiley I'm not bothered with how much it'll be worth... I already gave away 1/4 of all my Coinyes...

i already dumped more than half of my coins and made my 8400% profit (for time invested), and still sit on 200,000 coins.

i really couldnt care less what happens lol. if the coin makes a comeback and i can sell the rest, sure i will, if not, no skin off my back.

Well, good for you Smiley
Go back to DOGE, doge is for you Wink

edit: 55 blocks to go

the more hashing power you add to the network, the less the diff will drop when it changes.

i think the few people on there should suck it up for a day and let it switch to a low value, then maybe someone can hammer it with a few GH while the diff is low LOL

Well yeah, most of the people are thinking the same... If everyone can get a bunch of Coinye then it's not gonna be worth a lot now is it..
We are not doing this so we can have another dump, Kanye needs to know where his place is and shut the fuck up already Smiley... Don't try to get maximum out of this coin, just believe in it and mine regularly Smiley At least that's what I think Smiley

I agree  Grin

Go to the config file in the data folder, located in %appdata% for windows.
Add this line:
rcpallowip = localhost

change rpcuser = [your miner username]
change rpcpassword = [your miner password]

You'll also need to add a line rpcport = [I'm not sure on this one, anyone solo mining know the port for coinye?]

Then in your cgminer config, set your miner to mine at ip "localhost:[setting for rpcport]
set username to the one in rpcuser
set password to the one in rpcpassword

Thank you, but could you please explain me red ones, whats the config in %AppData%, is it some separated app?

If you installed coinyecoin wallet on C drive then it should be at: C:/users/yourcomputernameorusername/appdata/roaming/CoinyeCoin
If conf file doesn't exist create one (create txt file then change the extension to conf and name the file CoinyeCoin... so CoinyeCoin.conf should be the file.)

Here is how my conf for fastcoin looked like with my only solo mine try way back:

listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
rpcuser=KrvnoZrnce
rpcpassword=1111
rpcallowip=10.1.1.*
rpcport=9527
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
addnode=190.191.141.145
addnode=75.135.81.210
addnode=69.57.165.193
addnode=168.61.25.9

edit: 72 blocks to retarget but the hashrate is still falling slowly... I don't get it... Is there so many miners that don't get how things work at all? If you mined whole day at this difficulty stay a day or two more, don't give up and everything will be lovely again Smiley

You can follow this step-by-step lite coin solo mining guide - http://cryptocur.com/litecoin/litecoin-mining/

Instead of litecoin change the configuration to your desired coin
