I think I may have found the source of the problem that's causing a lot of people to have connection issues. I was unable to get my wallet to connect and sync with the network. I opened up TCPview and noticed that the wallet client was trying to open new connections by sending SYNs to nodes, but it wasn't hearing anything back.

The wallet client is set to listen on port 41338. I added a port forward rule in my router to forward port 41338 to my computer and wallah, immediately got 55 connections to the network and synced up. I'm not quite sure why outgoing connections aren't working when behind a router NAT/firewall.

So, for those of you having connection issues, try port forwarding 41338 to the host running the wallet client.

or just delete your peers file and your good to go
Believe me, I tried that many times.

coye.pool.pm, are you kidding me? I mined in this pool from the very beginning until it crashed (when the diff was minimal) and I earned less COYE/min than I earned later with a different pool when the diff was at least 16.
Of course, I didn't see what happened because the web interface was offline the whole time. And yes, I can't see if we had a lot of ophans, because that feature is still offline.
But it's strange, to say at least. I think the pool lost a lot of coins during the crash. Cry

coins are never "lost" they just fail to find their way to miners.....often right into a pool operators pocket  Roll Eyes

Yes, I've been scammed here.... like 500k Coinyecoins, and woke up especially at 4:00 AM to mine it :/

Why didnt you add autopayout in account then?
I did it and withdraw 2.6 mils without problem..
Sorry, but it is your problem to trust new pools on hyped up coin.. you always have to wallet added and autopayout..

This is the reason people aren't being paid out. Still constant harassment... I said numerous times I do not scam coins. People keep saying I scam coins, so I'm rather pissed off and am not motivated to bring it back online. I could really care less to be honest. I might rm -rf the server.
Please don't let the minority of people here get to you and make everybody lose their coinye coins because of it. If you decide to bail out, then you will piss off much more people, including myself. Take a break and avoid the forums and do what you can to get back up and running so everyone can get paid. It's now up to you to either do what's right or take the coins and run..so stop using people harassing you here as a cop out to keep all the coins.

There... fixed that for you.

This isn't the reason, spork.  You know that.  You know that during the 1000% round you were skimming coins.  There is no reason for the round to go that long, and the resulting payout for some during that 20 minute round be half of what it said it was supposed to be for one round.

I run a pool spork.  I know how the backend works.  Either you had issues with the cronjobs being locked up and not processing, or you switched out the wallets, and scammed the coins during that downtime.  And even if your cronjobs failed, when they ran again, the cronjobs would query the DB and account for all the missing past work.  Not account for half a round's rewards once it came back up.  Just fade away already.  You're pissing people off more by playing innocent.

Dunno why people keep going off on you, of the 3 pools I had loaded yours was up first and I managed to get 3 mil+ COYE and was able to withdraw with no issues this morning.  This was at 1400 kh/s.  I would like to get the small amount I have left on your server, but quite honestly, I understand why you're flustered now.
