CoinYe West will be a total joke, it will never be worth anything.  Angela's one-eyed cat could create a better crypto currency with it's good eye shut.

I wouldn't trust Kanye to be a celery farmer.

Doge was a total joke and look what happened.

The multipools are STILL mining it.
I totally agree. DOGE is indeed a good example of a coin that was in the beginning promising but was laughed with and make a very nice progress
The media attention for Coinye can also not be misunderstood.

I have my mining system ready for Coinye.

Yea doge is doing awesome...

BTW: Where I can check how much coins are mined so far and to track difficulty increase, network power, etc...?

Not sure yet, but keep an eye on http://coinmarketcap.com/ and http://cryptoranking.com/ as I'm sure they'll be added soon.

This can't be real. How can you sue for this shit?
Use of name,
Use of image,
Claiming support from Kanye,
TELLING PPL THEY CAN BUY CONCERT TICKETS WITH IT. <--- Pure Fraud.

Bad attempt at pump and dump scheme over the back of a "popicon" by a little music company.
Dev deserves to be sued with this coin in it's current state.

It's called Coinye West, not Kanye West and uses a caricature image of him. Did he sue South Park as well?

It's clearly a parody, which is also protected under the American Constitution.

And I like his music, but he's one of the biggest tools and ego maniacs on the planet and needs to get over himself and learn to take a joke.

+1.
So even worse.

Anyone Selling Coinyecoins on ebay prepare to have them removed in voilation of some sort of policy I have never heard of before.
just got this and had all my listings removed.

From ebay:

Hello XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
After reviewing your eBay account, it appears that you have violated eBay's Brand Name Misuse policy. As a result, we've taken the following action on your account:
- Violating listings have been removed. A list of removed items is available further down in this email.
- We have credited all associated fees except for the final value fee for your listing(s).

Adding brand, celebrity, or manufacturer names to a listing that was not made by that company, person, or manufacturer isn't allowed.

Making comparisons or including unrelated terms in your listing may confuse buyers who may not be clear about what is actually being offered. This can result in an unsuccessful transaction and may also lead to a buyer claim being filed.

To avoid any problems in the future, please use only terms that describe your item accurately.

For more information on our search and browse manipulation policy, go to:

If you have more questions, contact our policy experts:

Please be sure your future listings follow these guidelines. If they don't, they may be removed, and you may be subject to a range of other actions, including restrictions of your buying and selling privileges and suspension of your account.

Yeah, Kanye definitely has no sense of humor... I'm sure he can sue for it because simply because he has the financial ability to pursue it as far as it needs to go.

honestly, can anyone really be that stupid AND that successful?
I think he does this shit on purpose, to bring himself attention and sell CDs. pretty ingenious if you ask me.

the coinye west makers are anonymous, how do we know he didn't set all this up himself?

This  coin really protected under the american constitution under parody ?

Parodies are, you can even sometimes get away with copyright infringement under educational purposes sometimes. This coin isn't even using his name, but a parody of it, so it should be fine. Kanye is just being a twat as usual and throwing his toys out of the pram. I hope the coinmakers resist legal pressure and I doubt he has a legal ground to stand on in court. Hope he loses millions because of this.

Bitch's being a brat asshole... like the cryptocurrency is so main stream that this could ever affect his shitty reputation more then the stupid shit he already does to himself.

Who is Kanye West anyway?? Smiley I prefer Coinye West at least it has a value. Smiley

Honestly, the truth is, even if at the end of the day it isn't a copyright infringement, will any business want to take the chance and go into a lengthy legal battle over the adoption of a cryptocurrency with a gayfish on the front of the logo?

Think about the children! What is the mother going to say when their kid ask what that *points at gayfish* is? I can't wait to see the sign that says "We accept Coinye"

without a disclaimer? No it's not.
Remember SouthPark?

Also the direct "buy-off" for Kanye would not make it a parody.
