Is it safe to sell on ebay? It's too hard to sell these damn things.

I'll tell you what, if you get set up for selling cryptos on E-SCAM, be careful;.

They locked my account permanently within 36 hours of me making it (and it took HOURS to go through all that crap, and paypal, and credit cards....rrrrrrrr i get super annoyed thinking about the time i wasted.... also includes a 2 hour conversation with an obstinate , corporate party-line jargon spouting phone nobody at E-bay, trying to figure out how to get re-instated (nope, banned forever, although they have some kind of corporate-newspeak term for it  "unfortunately your account will still be restricted"). They won't even tell you WHY they block the accounts!

With persistence, I got the operator to admit that they had some kind of issue with the product photo I was using. It was the EXACT same dogecoin/earthcoin pictures that others were using!

The operator, after 2 hours of dodging my inquiries, well he told me that I should have taken my own photo of the actual coins I had for sale, rather than using a stock photo, which made things look suspicious to them ( even though, like I said, everyone uses the same damn logos and stuff to sell cryptos...) ....hahahaha.  I was so exasperated at this point that I didn't figure I could explain crypto-currency to a foreign "e-bay detective" with sub-optimal english skills, without blowing a gasket.

But I promised myself that I would do everything in my power to cast a negative light on ebay whenever I had the opportunity to do so in the crypto-world, and to always point out that once cryptos are more widely known and spendable, we wont have to go through all of the foolishness associated with using pay pal and credit cards when we do business online anymore.

NOPE.

Using cryptos for this stuff?

Well that's like wearing a pair of ergonomically tuned running shoes, developed just for you, without even having to provide your shoe size.

Using E-bay and credit cards and pay-pal?

That's like trying to compete while wearing a pair of those wooden dutch shoes, that you have to stay up all night carving YOURSELF, with a single bladed jack knife, while a gallery of rich people sit there deciding whether or not they even like the looks of you enough to let you compete.

Anyhow, I have a suspicion that MAYBE one of the other crypto-sellers tried to get rid of me. Possibly the Earthcoin guy, who was very vocal in forums about how he was enjoying being the only one selling them....  Maybe that's a little paranoid, but there is no shortage of greed around, so it's something one has to consider. Consider it! And do whatever you can to pre-emptively prevent anyone from being able to cast a shadow over your name, if you choose to sell on ebay. They seem to be willing to take action based on little to no actual evidence whatsoever.

One thing I know for sure: There was NOTHING wrong or misleading about my ads, or my INTENTIONS. They were pretty much cobbled together from the other crypto-sellers text and policies that I read on the site.

I even sold some doge before they nuked me, and sent the guy an extra 10% just cause he was scared when the deal all of a sudden disappeared from the site after he sent his money.

selling for 50 satoshi. 500k to sell, will sell in 100k chunks

100k for 0.05BTC
500k for 0.25BTC

1. I will NOT send first unless you have a good trade history as shown by your profile
2. I will be willing to perform a test transaction at low volume to show that i will follow through
3. I havent been on here long, but i've been selling online for years.
 - see my ebay profile here: http://www.ebay.com/usr/ethanol314
 - see my heatware (forum selling) feedback here: http://www.heatware.com/eval.php?id=63344

sure crypsy may never pick this up, but you can bet that coinex or coinedup will.

I will also accept EAC at the equivalent exchange rate.

so 0.20 EAC/COYE

100k COYE for 20k EAC
500k COYE for 100k EAC

Is there a feature on this forum where I can add these kind of folks to a personal blacklist?  I don't want to walk away and FORGET about these kind of warnings. I KNOW about the trust rating thing, but can i make personal notes about a member somewhere and keep them on file?

Has anyone made an actual sale? Because WTB and WTS prices are way off. Maybe start a google spreadsheet to get a good view of orderbook and actual 'exchange rate' (or get COYE listed on an actual exchange LOL).

Those googledocs tend to get ignored after a while.  It is absolutely no fun keeping up with orders, either.

However, what is certain is that I have been selling 100k blocks @ .0125 btc all day long.  The diff is rising though, so i will most likely adjust my 100k block price to at least .02 btc per.
Yeah I can understand that they tend to be ignored after a while. But now it's like a big chaos and nobody has any clue what the average price is at the moment, that's not very transparant.

This is why it is always helpful for people to post the details of their deals so the others in the market can see how much was bought and at what price!
Yeah totally agree. And maybe also post transaction ID's, otherwise it's like a trollbox. I have 2M COYE to sell and people are paying about 1 BTC for 2K!!!!!!111oneone
