There isn't a way you can do without competition in business. Being compete with should motivate you in doing a more quality product.

Competition would be exactly like you said if it was fair in the world that we have right now, however there are huge companies that can destroy competition and become a monopoly as well, that's the trouble. Smaller companies could end up with building something that is better and cheaper, but the bigger companies just straight up buy them and that would be the problem.

If amazon for example could buy your product directly that would be bad for you and you shouldn't be looking out for a hope that happens, it wouldn't really be fair and competition would be gone. I personally would prefer if there was a way that you could limit a company to grow only so big, and then seperate in to two companies to make it fair.

Consumers are the biggest beneficiaries in this case, without competition, monopoly products will be sold at high prices and with no quality assurance, no choice. But once there are many products of the same type competing with each other, consumers have more choices in terms of design, quality as well as the price will be much cheaper.

And for businesses, competition means innovation and it drives business growth. If you do not want to lose to your opponent, you must constantly innovate and improve quality, then will help increase revenue and help your business go up.

In some way, it improves services and products but on the negative side, this will also create misunderstanding and hatred.
But I like how this competition does as long as it was fair for both parties. I know the tough one will top and so we need to work hard in order to reach that level and to become competitive as well. If we are in business, make preparations for this situation whether we like it or not, some jealous people will even do things that ruin our reputation for the seek of such competition.

indeed that is the function and benefit of the existence of a competition in business. because if a business in an area is only controlled by one company then that company will easily be able to monopolize prices. And consumers have no choice because it's the only business in the area. so that even though the cost of service/product is so expensive, consumers will definitely be forced to buy it because there is no other place to go. but if there are many business companies in an area that creates competition between business people, the price will be difficult to monopolize. instead the price will be more adjusted to the ability of consumers. to attract consumers to come. in everything there must be positive and negative, as well as in business competition there are always good and bad things.

You would really be expecting high prices on a certain good or commodities or things around if they arent competition around or simply they are solely the one offering something on the market which

means that they could really raise up their prices as they could since they do know that they arent someone who could really match it up and then this is where competition starts.

Its impossible that there would be no investors/business possible owners who would really be thinking on offering the same thing but a less cheaper on where pulling those consumers or buyers
which it would be that impossible that there would be no recognition into those less or cheaper price and this is indeed a beneficial thing for us consumers.

I think as a customer, the pros of competition between enterprises definitely outweigh the cons. Given the fact that most consumers procure and use products from big companies and a small handful are into small-businesses, competition, long as its sparks innovation in between the two companies makes it so we get better products every year. As a business owner however, this still is a plus if you'll ask me because you would have to cater to your consumer's growing needs one way or another. And if competing against a big company's gonna force you to do it, then it's just fine, it's all a matter of if you can really ride the tide of the market or not, because every big company started as a small startup.

Competition in business is actually very necessary because every new product that is born by a factory or company will definitely be better than the previous one or those produced by other companies. Because now every product must have more useful features and can be easier to use and can also be easier to repair when it breaks.

This means that the company must also provide qualified spare parts services for the products they have marketed, because now competition in business always occurs through products used by the community. Because each user will also judge for themselves how a product can be good or bad.

True competition makes competitors on their toes.  They will give their best to win customers.  We have lots of experience here that business monopoly will only give substandard services, high prices, and slow development upgrades. 


Poor citizen can still live but it would be harder.


Not really but at least customers will get a premium service because each competing company will give their best to keep their customer.


Same here in the Philippines, prices are too high and service is second rate or probably third rate when the service is monopolized by one company.  Competition brings down the price of service and upscale the performance and offers.

O men, without competition the poor citizens can not live in the society. The competition makes things easy for the poor. I could remembered when MTN came to Nigeria in 2002, a SIM card was sold at the rate $10. So most people could not buy it because of the high price and also because there was no competition in the technological market at of that time but today a SIM card is sold at the rate of $0.23 or there are some Network providers that even give out their sim card free for people to use. Because they need customers to use their Network massively from usage of data and recharge card to make calls. All because there is a massive competition in the technology and Networking market. To some extent we thank God for the capitalist economy though it favours the  bourgeoisie the most. There is a high exploitation in the system.

Competition is a good thing to produce quality products and at low prices, the competition makes the team from the company always creative and try to be the best, if there is no competition, it is certain that the products produced will disappoint customers.

For this very reason in our country every company irrespective of its nature and sector they have unions and associations which are formed on city level and state level. They will define the specific rules for how much to be charged for a product or service which is prime daily need or emergency stuff. For example, medicines production. There are cheap to premium drugs from same formulations however on the counter medical association will decide fixed price for all of them so that everyone can have fair business.

Because every production house knows, if they keep doing too much competitions and try to reduce the prices for their finished product they will end up producing lower quality product as they would be using cheap raw material, cheap labour workers resulting into bad quality product with low rates.

This is why it should be in synchronous and that’s what followed in my country.

But what to say, there are always businesses somewhere at the corner who will try to complicate the process.

True, without competition the products produced will not be creative and even decrease, with competition the products will be good and of course provide satisfaction to customers, besides that from the price side of course consumers will get quality products that are adjusted to the price.

Competition is good for us consumers on which we could really be having lots of options that we could potentially able to choose rather than on having one or a couple and this is something inevitable for a business

to be solely be existing on the market.There would be investors or potential owners would really be looking on something which isnt saturated which they could really utilize and take advantage while it last.

Its good for consumers but not for business owners if we do speak about competition.Well, thats how business do works on which you would really be expecting that there would be someone
will really be go toe to toe for them to get at least a marketshare.

Competition is something that is very useful in our day to day society. It fosters a lot of development, quality and quantity. Instead o f having one person control the marketing of a product, you have a union in its place to determine prices of commodity. This would in turn secure the business of small scale and large scale businesses alike while putting in consideration, the customers interest and fairness as well. However a competitive environment can only be maintained if the authorities that are in charge of supervising that monopolies do not form do their job, and in the case of companies like Google it is obvious they have failed, they have allowed Google not only to grow without any kind of control but also to buy any competitors or companies which are doing something interesting and then they can simply appropriate that research by throwing billions of dollars at them.

Every businessman, of course, there will be other competitors. This is not about convenience for them, but how to compete with common sense starting from innovating every product on offer so that loyal customers are within the reach of your business, not only that, business people must also make efforts to improve consumer needs in terms of quality, quantity, and other things that need to be considered and you can socialize to consumers what they need so they don't go to other stores.

I do a small business by opening a food shop out there too many competitors but my efforts continue to improve what consumers need, starting from inventory, product quality must be good, the price of goods must be in accordance with other prices (a slight price difference does not matter) I even continue to increase my efforts regarding other needs, such as delivering goods (food) that consumers need if they can't go to the store, doing promotions on social media so that more people see so that they are interested in my offer, there are many other things that need to be done. attention so that I still feel satisfied by consumers.

This business has been running for several months but I have to be able to do that to get bigger, even I am trying to learn how a businessman with common sense can compete well I think it needs creativity from us to be more attractive to new customers.

I am always looking for innovation everywhere including some other articles if it has become right for my business then I then i will do it.

Well, there are laws in business as well, so not everything is fair in business . But the idea is true, if you end up with something that profits you just a bit more, you do that. Like for example if you create a product and put it on sale at amazon, then amazon sees that you sell a lot of it, they can create their own product that could compete with yours, similar thing, and then ban you from selling yours, making them the sole seller of such a product. Is this fair? No, but is this legal? It is.

This is how competition gets screwed, small business gets screwed by the big business, and while you were selling it for 9.99, they took over and banished you and now selling it for 19.99 however they want.

This is a good advantage if there's no monopoly, many are able to innovate and other businesses have no choice but to adopt as well. Competition might continue to increase as we already seen a lot of innovation with our technology and most of them are for the benefit of every users. There's a lot of pros and cons in businesses which is normal, and for every company this competition is a big challenge for them, they should not avoid this one.

It is true. The improvement in many industry fields will be faster if there is competition. All companies, firms, or organizations will push their efforts to provide better products or services. So, the industry in the country will be more advanced or modern both in the way they manufacture their products and the way they serve consumers. As a result, the industry fields in the country will grow fast and improve the quality standard of the products and services.
