I think software field is more and more valuable than pilot. Because, if there is no software engineer, we cannot be improved flights from wright brothers first flight to now a day's modern flight. Grin pilot is just a driver. Don't bother about their dress, you can also dress more sensibly than a pilot. There is no guarantee for your life, if you are a pilot. But in software field, we cannot say like that.

Both completely different fields, choose the one you're more passionate about as a subject, don't decide on what looks cool.

Do both it takes time to pass the pilots exam to be a civilian pilot you need a lot of airtime, and then promotion is seniority based.

To obtain a commercial pilot's license, 250 hours of flight time are required, and 1,500 hours of flight time are required for an airline transport pilot certificate. Flight training can be completed through degree programs or through a flying school that is approved by the FAA. Airline pilots must also have 40 hours of instrument flying experience in-air and through simulation.

Can still work on computer engineering in the meantime and it's always nice to have multiple goals and learn things in a variety of fields, I would label learning how to fly and land a plane safely as one of those useful abilities to have in the back of your pocket

Best of luck regardless

You would want to become a pilot because the uniform looks cool? LOL.
Busdrivers often wear a very similar uniform (and truthfully, the job isnt all that different either).

I happen to be passionate about flying, but it doesnt sound like you are. So do whatever it is you are passionate about.

Im a 15 year old boy and going 16 this February 24 2015

First of all, i'ved using computer since i was 7-8yrs old
since my mom give me a computer and now its still running because i always fixed and upgrade the hardwares. Been playing games, modding windows, editing the UIs,animating, video editing and more

but since i saw a pilot for the very first time, He was so cool (no homo), i mean from his clothes, sun glasses, cap and the bag his carrying.. he is totally a cool guy. i think its awesome to fly and land a plane. I know its a serious job.

Many of my friend says Computer Engineer sucks, so i need your time if you want you to help me Sad

Which is better for your opinion and why?

Sorry, my English is very bad that i cant explain it to you very well.
