The world of crypto is not so cheap that anyone can easily hake it and destroy this huge world. But yes i also hear this kind of news but I don't think it can be possible.
That news is nothing new. When bitcoin was not even so popular there was also a computer virus they call ransomware that would encrypt files so that you can no longer access it and in order to ipen it they will be asking you some bitcoin for you to open your files back. I just don't know if it still exist until today but I think it had made a lot of bitcoin for itself. Getting rich was simple in that way but I don't ever think it was a good way.
