Topic: Considering DeepOnion success, should we expect plenty more airdrop coins soon? (Read 967 times)

I do hope they come up with another method of activity to spread the airdrop besides media buzz. The social media hype that DeepOnion generated is fantastic up to a point, and then people start getting annoyed by so many posts. Airdrop does seem more foolproof since it doesn't involve money (and therefore governmental oversight) or technological capability.

I agree with this to a point, but I don't believe the dev's will or should just drop coins for no work.  I suspect as we get towards the end of the sig campaign the requirements will begin shifting away from BCT post counts to something else.  I've said it before in other posts but I think this is a brilliant coin launch process; it delivers coins out to numerous people based on how they support the coin, it prevents big whales from buying up walls, and it prevents the heavy ASIC miners from cornering the market.

As for the original question... I hope more coins at least consider giving away a large portion of their coins in a similar way.

Honestly i dont understand how the airdrop works, i tried to join the airdrop a few weeks ago but i had no success, they did not accepted me and they rejected me, and i see members of that campaign posting one-line posts with no sense, and they applied.. I dont understand why i could not join in there, but it is okay.
They are paying a lot, i dont understand how they can sustain their project.

I think altcoin devs will see the huge success that DeepOnion is having and might re evaluate changing their "business model" from ICO to Airdrop, what the DeepOnion community has done is quite amazing, never seen so many people with signatures to one same project, just wonderful.

Airdrop I think is generally preferred by so many people here instead of ICOs. But the airdrop of Deep Onion that you are promoting apparently is not the kind of airdrop that the majority of the people here are opting. The typical airdrop is simply dropping off coins to participants. Deep Onion requires posts. Deep Onion though is doing perfectly good with it.

Onion supporters play dumb.. par for the course.
We've been over this sooooooooooooooooooo many times.
And not just one aspect is scammy either.. but tons !

A crooked scheme coin was launched and the idiots backing it keep pushing it and playing dumb for $$$
Even if you explain to them HOW it is in fact scammy.
They are not interested.
They are interested in pushing it for profits.

The Airdrop was never legit (see AUR coin)
Further more this was not one.
This shit coin scam uses a SIG campaign which is also scammy as a means of pretending it is an "Airdrop"
Then their denial about it is also scammy then.. we have other aspects such as account / trust farming by the dev's.. scammy again.
Then we have the suspicious nature of Torcoin being exposed as a scam and the same SIG campaign douche bags simply jumped from that scam coin to this one with out skipping a beat.
Then we have the claims of being ANON 100% as scammy..
THEN..
We have the coins staking bullshit.
The devs took a super huge amount of the PREMINED coins then staked them POS for themselves.
That last point would be far more than enough for any rational non-crooked greedy guy to see it is in fact scammy.

Keep playing dumb for ROI's  Cheesy

You should listen the fuck up noob..
I have been logged here (90 days) more than you have posts.

I just wanted to tell you that you cannot convince somebody by just simply being a loud mouth and constantly calling someone harsh words.
If you really wanted to be heard then please support your accusations with proof.
We can converse for hours regarding this topic but at the end of the day without any proof i still wouldn't believe in anything that you've said.
Allegations will just be allegations unless backed up by evidence.
But since you cannot present some then i think it will be better to keep quiet.
Have a nice day...

Bathrobe you got it.
Why should I be polite to people who ruined crypto?
You know I have had BTC collecting on an exchange called Bittrex for a couple years and when the amount gets big enough I just keep giving it away.
Last time was a dev on XDA forums.
Right now I have no clue how much I got.
Last I checked I had a hundred bucks worth sitting in there a couple months back but I couldn't care less.
There has been nothing to trade but script clones then ICO gimmicks for a couple years..
So I quit trading.
I will not contribute to scammy bullshit for ROI's.
Or.. Be polite and friendly to the scammy idiot douches that pile in here.
Fuck em.

Crypto is scammy from end to end.

So yeah what is left?
What do you all expect?
The Legendary users cry scam and we are mouthed off by fucking scammy NOOBS.
If they don't want to listen then fuck em.
I hope you get burned and lose all your money.

By the way I posted pictures here of me lighting my money on fire to prove a point.
I said I would sooner go outside and burn it then buy scammy shit like Ethereum.
So I did.

I'd sooner give away my BTC then buy scammy airdrop or ICO coins.
You pajeets ruined crypto.
I was here first.
I got here before you showed up and ruined it.
You all lowered the bar so bad it's been scraping on the ground.
Anything goes and is good... Just so long as you profit from it.
I know because you all out there tell me that.
You line up to say how can the coin be a scam if I made money off it?

The funny part is here is am no moral savior.
I am an ex con and I like to think just average with my morality.
I am not against bending the rules but you all are spinning your wheels going nowhere fast.
You refuse to look at the big picture and the future and focus on nothing but your own personal selfish short term gains.

Good luck with that.. I am sure it will work out brilliantly.
If you are lucky you will here another I told you so from Spoetnik  Grin

How many sig campaigns have I entered?
Ooohh that luscious sweet BTC dust hahahhahaha

PS:
Oh and guy earlier played the "proof" retort yet again..
And yet again I will say the proof is simply HOW IT WORKS.
Pretty simple huh pajeets?

If Crypto is all scammy, just delete your account and don't destroy perfectly good threads. You destroyed this one. /thread
You said that to delete account? What a kid. This threads just having a purpose to advertise the scam project such as deeponion with 90% percent premine and the dev will be rich just dump the token to the buyers and run away this is another scam coin like torcoin. Or both of projects are having the same person behind it.

Yes more giveaways like DeepOnion, should not be so concerned with people holding coins(hoarding). Rather than kicking people out who want to trade some of the coins they have, let people have their choice and sell/trade if they want without getting kicked out.
Rules are rules...
Before joined the airdrop they read the rules and guidelines.
If they find this rules is gonna work against them then dont need to apply anymore.
No one forced you to join.
But once you joined please stick to the rules.
Its hard to accept than when people decided to join the airdrop campaign,  they say to themselves and others as well that they will follow the rules.
But once they already accepted their share and wanted to sell it theyll start complaining.
Saying that the rules is one sided and does not benefit them at all...
Then i will reminded all of this kind of people.
No One Forced You To Join!!!

Yes, it's not really an airdrop, it's a signature drop, but they're not making me preach about it. The requirement is 10 good posts, doesn't have to be preaching about DeepOnion, but I like the coin and I praise it.

I sincerely hope so.  That way all the people who missed out on the DeepOnion signature campaign will have something to sign up for so they can start shilling and quit spreading FUD.

DeepOnion wasn't exactly an airdrop, it was a bounty campaign in disguise, everyone's doing bounty campaigns currently because its relatively effective marketing

From the title of this discussion I thought it was about the idea that perhaps more airdrops will take place in future seeing the success of DeepOnion. No matter what people think, it is undisputable that DeepOnion is having success. This may change in future, as it is with every coin. If someone would sell 1% of the existing bitcoins the price would crash to a dollar or less - so nothing can be given for granted in this field.
But I see that the original discussion of this thread has died out immediately.

Yeah sadly, it got distorted to scam talking :/

That especially silly since there are already threads dedicated to that where people can have fun arguing about that.
To go back to the theme of this thread, I guess this looks to many extents like an emulation of Deeponion:

Huh?  I really don't know how to respond to all this.  Did you respond to someone in this thread?  I'm expecting you to yell at 'us kids' to get off your lawn next.  Anyway... how about my question, how would you launch a new coin?  Or are you arguing there shouldn't be other coins other than the original bitcoin?

It's labeled a scam with a fake airdrop so how do you call that a success ?
Because it worked better than TORCOIN ?  Cheesy

If you support it.. you are a scammy greedy little idiot.
..that is killing crypto dead forever.

But yeah what ever scheme method to drum up profits works with the greedy douche's will carry on.
I would expect more of this scammy method.

It's like declaring Microsoft is "using" and "supports" your shitcoin.
They all jump on the idiot band wagon.

Spoetnik, what is your preferred method of coin distribution?  Setting to launch purely as a mine means only those heavy hitters with ASICs get it, setting it as a pure ICO means only deep pockets get it, a pure airdrop with no work means it has no value... so how would you launch a coin?
