When a gambler is depositing fund with the urge of recovering will never think about the transaction fee.

It's not just those who are desperate of recovering their funds.

But on the other side, which is those who experiencing continuous winning, also feel the same since why should they stopped if they are winning.

A gambler is a gambler no matter what. These fees might be hurting them but not a reason to distract them from doing gambling.

When it comes to fund deposit on gambling, people never think about the fee and all. Most of the time users deposit fund on Gambling site when the user experience continued loss. To recover the loss the user makes deposit. This will be known by the sites and the deposits were confirmed faster with reduced transaction fee. Different users have different views, but in my experience When a gambler is depositing fund with the urge of recovering will never think about the transaction fee.

With fees so high, I'm wondering if big gamblers are switching from BTC/ETH to other options. Is there any data on what's being used? With limited options, what coins should a new platform consider supporting?

I think currently TRX is unbeatable.
Especially in terms of transaction costs.

BNB is also good and Litecoin anyway.
DOGE is also cheap. Otherwise I would recommend ADA, DOT and EOS.

XRP is possibly also an alternative...

Those alts that you mentioned are actually good alternatives for btc and eth. Now, BNB is also being introduced in gambling sites. EOS is actually great also as the fees are really that cheap. And it is much better if the casino has their own internal exchange, as you can convert your coins such as btc or eth into alts with lower withdrawal fees. Also, I found out that if the site is also supporting USDT (TRC20), this stablecoin has very minimal fees.

Well, in terms of token transactions, you can already call ETH more expensive....

BTC fees fluctuate a lot and you can also send cheap from time to time!
This is what i had observed about fee fluctuations where ETH does really have a problem in regards to that matter. It doesnt really go down that fast unlike in Btc.
It might have some surge or fee increase but it doesnt really last long and when the network isnt already congested then you can make out transactions which
can be done on paying up only less a dollar but still Eth is struggling to take it down.I dont know whats the problem of this one.
I had long time ago skip on using Eth though and it would be more worth on using doge or trx instead.

Yeah, it is what everyone is talking about for ETH until the proposed solution will come.

It does but if the gambler sends it and look at its USD value, he might consider it not cheap.

Bitcoin has grown to that extent that need to be protected from rustling, this has achieve more prestige that anyone who is holding it should be counted lucky. Ethereum has one of the most ridiculous fess charges and no one would dear to gamble with it, but the likes of some good fast transaction coins should be embrace into gambling such as TRON, RIPPLE and BNB in my suggestion.
BTC and ETH are the same, they've became high in fees due to the situation of the crypto market. Those three that you have mentioned shall be added by these that have been mentioned:

Many would probably hate TRX and XRP but they're helpful in times where fees for btc and eth are high.

When it comes to those coins availability then we can mostly seen these coins already on most platforms here on the market where they do add up other than bitcoin or eth

which does currently have some problems when it comes to fees where not all gamblers would really be agreed upon thats why we do have alternatives on using some cheap alts
for us to play gambling without minding much about the fees you are paying on.
For a new gambling site then they should follow up on what those old sites been doing which i can see it to be already the standard stuff.

Ripple may not be preferred by the gambling sotes because I guess if a gambling site wants to add ripple then they need to get further licences and it applies to every centralized coins ( correct me if I am wrong).
They don't have to. There were casinos that have Ripple on their list, there's no list for such license, they only need to add just as how they've added the other coins on their supported/payment option.
Ohhh, I thought we need it for everything anyway if they want to add any project with stable value they need the license of fiat casino as well because the value is same as USD so they need both the license if they are operating from regulatory region.
Casinos really require to have a license before an operation, I don't know with stable coins but they're just the same as other cryptocurrencies. What's important for the license is their operation and they're licensed to operate from the government and as well as the gaming license.

I have heard the same arguments regarding bitcoin as a means of payment, but the whole industry cannot hold on to large players, so the use of cryptocurrencies with large commissions in such areas will inevitably fall. Perhaps the ETH after switching to POS will be able to "return to the game" and, given its leadership in many parameters, will become an even more dominant altcoin.

That's still maybe, an assumption in case ETH updates covered this high fees and start to provide service the same way
it was before this huge transaction fees to process your transactions.

For now, gamblers do use alternative coins that have quicker transfer yet a much lesser transaction fees. It said above
that both TRX and XRP have this features,.

This is the only option for ETH to stay on the market. If the project ceases to meet the user's request, then they refuse it. I doubt there are many users willing to pay tens of dollars for each transfer. And I doubt that every project will be able to repeat the path of bitcoin - to move from a payment system to "storing value".

I am always Vocal about Dogecoin, TRX and Ripple to be available in all crypto gambling site that operates inside and even outside this forum.

This is not only for my benefits but for the Site as well , because this will attract more crypto players as many are quitting from using Bitcoin and Ethereum as deposit or even withdrawal coin.

Dogecoin and Tron is best option but XRP? I'm afraid that many gambling sites and exchange are keeping distance for now because of the possibility of Bigger problem along the way as the case is still in progress.

So far, the average gambling site with the cryptocurrency concept has not only focused on these 2 assets. some use other altcoins whose transaction fees are cheaper and faster. An example is the Stake which I still use for gambling today. there is a Tron or Doge option whose transaction fees are cheaper and faster. Indeed for gamblers with not large capital, if the deposit using bitcoin, of course, object to withdrawal fees and also the deposit fees they spend are also high if it is calculated in dollar conversion

Nowadays it shouldn't just about the coin, but about the provider as well. if a website can have few options like binance chain, ERC-20 i think it should be better

Binance smart chain got low fees and is fast but some might argue that it is centralized so it might not be the best option for some people, also adding any kind of ERC-20 token won't help as they are just tokens based on Ethereum blockchain and actually you have to pay way more fees to transfer ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum network than Eth itself, so it's cheaper to just use Ethereum.

Casino websites should accept some coins with privacy features and some other coins that are just fast for sending/receiving payments so that every customers is able to use a payment method that suits them the best, whether they choose based on their fees, privacy or speed should be up to them.
That would be a major problem if we were talking about such coin being a store of value for your wealth for the long term, but since we are talking about a coin to get fast and cheap transactions when you gamble then that is not a deal breaker, however by far the best coin when it comes to this is dogecoin, I know that many do not take the coin seriously because of its story and I get it but when it comes to fast transactions dogecoin is one of the best coins out there and should be adopted by more casinos so their clients have the option to choose it and gamble with it.

I'm not a big gambler and I'm not sure if these big gamblers are shifting to other coins from Ethereum/Bitcoin because they can still shoulder the fee, I guess only small-time gamblers are shifting to other coins because the fee will eat up their profit if they continue to use Bitcoin and Ethereum at this point in time, the best altcoin to support are Tron, Doge Xrp, these coins have small transaction fees and fast transaction
