Well, as a beginner at bitcointalkz, or for you who just started new, you've gotta try as much as (basically everyday) to keep sharing contents or making eligible posts with also commenting on other people's contents in order to grow your status. When you share your contents here and it is very valid and formidable, people begin to ask questions that could lead to them commending your efforts or contents, by so doing you earn merits from encouraging people.

It isn't a must to keep on sharing content everyday as you say, this isn't some social media platforms were you have to constantly engage your followers or audience to stay relevant. What matters must here is the content that they're sharing, hope it's informative, educative or adding to the growth of the forum in generally. Those are what make you get rewarded and not not when you're staying active in hope of getting rewarded with merit, you won't get it. You could as well only write when you see something worth contributing to and still have enough merits to rank up due to the quality of your works then someone who's active everybody just been active without any impact.

As for consistency been the way to excellence, that's quite true but not when you're doing the wrong thing consistently. For example, spamming or writing generically doesn't contributions to your growth on the forum instead it labels you with been a nuisance to the forum which will probably ends you in meriters blacklist and also reduce your chances of getting hire inrto campaigns etc. If you're been consistent, make sure you're doing such with the right things like instead of been consistent with your writing on the forum, you could do more of reading and watch how impactful that'll be to your life.

What you are talking about is not in line with what you are doing, you advise other users who have just joined the forum to be consistent, but you yourself are not consistent in the forum. Post quality needs to be considered as the first step to starting a discussion on the forum, as long as the post is still connected with the discussion on the topic it is still considered reasonable. Usually the obstacle that makes it difficult for newbies to develop is because they are lazy to learn, very many of them give up easily due to their posts being deleted because they are not related to the discussion. Finally they gave up.

Monday Morning!
"Consistency is what transforms Average into Excellence"

People worry about how much and how far they're going to keep going, with a particular plan to yield fruitful results.

Not only eligible posts or content but also the educational information in any content you post determines its quality because this forum provides basic support to visitors looking for solutions to some of their Bitcoin-related problems. Because there are many posts in this forum that are eligible but did not have the quality to be awarded a merit, the quality of the content matters.

Quote
Even if you don't win the mind of people who view your contents, there's always another, don't GIVE UP! Remember, "Consistency is what transforms Average into Excellence "

I'm Freeman.
Sure consistency is actually the key, if you are consistent and willing to learn and give positive contributions in the forum you will be rewarded accordingly.

"Consistency is what transforms Average into Excellence"

Your advice is great for fellow newbies who just joined this forum.
It's true that consistency is good for anyone, not just beginners, in my opinion.
Provided that consistency is carried out and accompanied by positive values such as making posts or comments that are constructive and informative.

you've gotta try as much as (basically everyday) to keep sharing contents or making eligible posts with also commenting on other people's contents in order to grow your status.

I don't agree with your opinion about sharing content or posts every day.
There is no guarantee if we make or post every day it will increase our status or rank.
Precisely I think your suggestion might even have the potential to encourage someone to do spam.
Quantity is important but it also has to be "quality".

Be consistent with increasing knowledge on ourselves first.

Your response is summarized around pessimists; People who are consistent, but don't diversify their idea because they're scared it won't work. They may not gain much productive on the long run.

Majority saying that they are consistent but their action didn't speak for their selves that's why they fail for what they want to do. But if they are consistent on it and practice to make things work in the long run maybe they can be successful with that. And for sure long time member of this forum is the perfect example with this since for sure each of us here see the fruit of our labor compare to those people who quit because they think crypto and this forum is difficult place for them.

Having different concepts of contents would interest readers to argue more or interact on the thread, which will help the OP to continue sharing new ideas,

That's somehow good to do for people who want to learn since having good discussion towards the topic discuss by our fellow forum participants can really increase our knowledge towards certain issue, especially when we create quality threads which is worthy to discuss since more knowledge will be learn from it.

Consistency is key as you said; but there are sometimes different views to that... it could be really unprofitable yeah? Cus what's the point of doing the same thing over and over again with the same results? (Which ain't even better off and, majorly the reasons why you keep trying is because you need a change?)? You see the point??
Sometimes, it's also advisable to be less sentimental on issues that ain't really ascertained; yeah,? As long as you're into something and all you've got is "hope" to continue, then you have to diversify several means to make it work,...one of them could be attaching a different perspective of understanding to what you're doing....

Posting on the forum as an example; sticking to a board and consistently responding on people's posts may not yield enough exposure, as Op pointed, compared to diversifying into creating quality threads on different boards. Having different concepts of contents would interest readers to argue more or interact on the thread, which will help the OP to continue sharing new ideas, but if a post doesn't get enough responses that'll clear the OP's doubt s/he may not have the zeal to post again on the forum. Especially members that has a single pattern of threads.

Freeman, you need to stop worrying about people and start thinking about what you can do and how you do it. People will always judge you for your actions no matter what you do, so stop worrying about people.
But unnecessary posting is what you have to avoid, like this post. You don't need to post all of your thought here. Save some posts for learning purposes.

It's always something to see when you find a newbie, giving other newbies some advice. I feel most of these ought to pour out of personal experience but for sure, what is been said goes beyond forum although, its forum centered on this context and you don't very much reflect it at OP.
That doesn't mean your advice isn't valid.
When you aren't consistent, you clearly don't hurt no one but yourself as well as frustrating your goals which is the basis for your journey at the on set. Never get discouraged of being your go getter, go for it head on and don't fail to pick up some good habits while dropping bad onces as well as corrections on the way. Stay motivated.

It doesnt mean you need to post everytime to make you consistent. Sometimes browsing could gain you knowlesge without interacting but since you are in the forum, join the conversation and share some of your thoughts. Make that consistent, and dont get dissapointed when you are corrected or someone debate over your idea cause thats pretty normal. Learn from it and understand it.
One thing we should observe consistency in the forum is to be consistent in learning from the posts of other members as this forum is made for us to learn and share what we have learned so that others too will gain and develop knowledge and skills from it. So we should always interact and make an open discussion with others because this is the only way that this forum will continue to be informative and become a valuable source of information for everyone. Without doing our part, then we will never learn and grow from this forum.

Being consistent is a very good idea but one has to be very sure of being consistent in an important aspect which in this, we talk about what exactly are you busy running after, is your consistency on something of value or a waste of time on a shalow unrealistic expectations, we must not waste time for being consistent on things that yielded or amount to nothing, the value we create in our consistency matters alot.

I think interaction could enhance our abilities to communicate to everyone and share our thoughts to a specific topic. Also practicing your communication skills by simple posting and replying with a quality posting and information that can be used by anyone that can read. As a newbie myself, don't be afraid to share your ideas and thoughts and be corrected as long as you don't troll posting.

No matter how slow you are right now, as long as you are making progress with your consistency, you will somehow reach your goal or you might even reach some good things that you don't even imagine. If you remember the common story between the Turtle and the Monkey when they race, you might not want to read it because it is obvious the monkey will win that race but behold! the Turlte steals the show because of his consistency even though he is the slower but he managed to win that race because the monkey has converted all his talents to trash talking.

this is one of the examples when you hear people saying that you cannot make it, just hear their words as if it's you hear it from crazy people who don't know what he is talking about and your response to them is no help so you will ignore him. In every life scenario, you can apply this method, and will be your chance to be successful in the future as well.

Consistency is important. I often struggle with paralysis by analysis and get all caught up in making things "perfect" before I complete or publish them. I have to work hard to let that go.

There's a saying that "Good is the enemy of perfect" but if you consistently make good posts, they will get better over time and if you continue to read and learn, you will continually have more quality knowledge to pass along.

I am also reminded of a Bruce Lee quote "Absorb what is useful. Discard what is not. Add what is uniquely your own." and I think that is a good way to learn more about bitcoin and then pass more knowledge to others.

Absorb what posts/replies you find useful. Discard that which you don't find useful. Add comments with your own unique perspective, experience, and opinion.

good point of view, it should be if it's serious.
Consistency is a very important capital in being active in this forum. Not only in this forum, there must be consistency in everything, why? Because consistency in doing everything will create a sense of good habits.
but to be honest, maintaining consistency is not an easy thing. Because it cannot be denied that many things are done at the same time.

Keeping consistent is not an easy matter, but when you do many things at the same time it will interfere with your consistency. You don't focus on one job so you can't do your best. Try to focus only on one job at first and start to be consistent, it will give good results. That way it will work consistently well and the focus will not be divided by others. Need to learn many things, and look for as many references as possible to be able to contribute well and stay consistent.

Or maybe just post when you actually have something decent to contribute, and not fill Bitcointalk with unnecessary spam? You don't even need to try so hard to rank up here; it's very easy as long as you actually know Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

The bitcointalk forum creates a healthy discussion over important and relevant topics related to cryptocurrency, which means you need to learn from other members point of views, and they will also learn from your own perspective. There should be a consistent interaction so that the forum will become more alive and meaningful. Even newbies are not an exception. Maybe at first you will just read and keep exploring the forum as you are still in the process of acquisition of learning, but for you to grow and rank up on your position, you should also share some quality posts wherein other newbies and members in the forum will also learn from you and benefit from your shared knowledge and experiences.

Participating in discussions on each thread involving people who have expertise in each field can also help our development in improving how to convey something in writing.
Consistency is important in what we are doing. But with regard to that not many are able to practice it in everyday life.

For example, in the forum, it doesn't need to be 24 hours, but as long as there is time, do things that can bring self-improvement. Convince yourself that others will recognize us by our own character.

As a beginner here you have to read as much as you can inorder to learn much faster. This is the reason for the cool down time between posts, which reduces as one advances in rank.
If you keep churning out low quality posts, you only add to your activity and maybe add yourself to a couple of users' ignore list.

When you share your contents here and it is very valid and formidable, people begin to ask questions that could lead to them commending your efforts or contents, by so doing you earn merits from encouraging people.
If you've not learnt anything to share, you would only create spa mega threads and earn no merits for that.
