Gas wey everybody see say d price dey drop before, now gas price don dey skyrocket again, Abeg Wetin go even come down for dis country wey we dey, things are just getting harder, people just dey suffer anyhow, gas wey we reason say e don dey come down, and I come dey hear news say e go even drop more, now gas is now sold above #1,000 some people wey don go rush convert there generator into gas, since dem see say petrol price don to go up, now wey gas don dey go up also, na make dem convert am go back to petrol back.

I no even sabi Wetin dis country need again, we don even pray to God tire, things are just getting worst, time wey we suppose stand up fight for our country, some people are still be deceived by the small change wey politicians dey share for them during campaign, because of money dey go still use there hand vote for the wrong person. Me I no even sabi Wetin person wan even dey complain about again, because complain no fit solve any problem.

For me naija don tire me, make I first start with this fuel subsidy matter. Sometimes I no blame government because naija wicked. Why I say naija wicked, why fuel price go just dey add money like that. Make we ask well oh, I still remember that inauguration day, president Tinubu sworning in ceremony he make different speech and the moment president Tinubu talk about the removal of fuel subsidy, from that moment na fuel price start to increase, for my area that afternoon after the inauguration ceremony na fuel price start to add money, just that afternoon fuel price add 210. Fuel price start to increase just because of fuel subsidy removal something wey former president buhari be dey do why price of fuel no increase that time. So I don observe say na filling station managers dey steal this money just because the person wey them want no enter sit.
Secondly you come dey talk about gas price say gas price don add money, ever since na I no support this gas generator. Why? Anytime I see this gas generator I no dey get peace of mind, secondly as everybody dey turn there generator carburetor to gas why the price of gas no go increase. Because I remember when this fuel price increase gas price was very cheap #650. One thing about marketing ehhn once the demand increase the price go increase
Talking about the new invention, hmmm I just dey speechless because na anywhere belle face na be front.

I was not aware of the current price of gas until my gas got finished mid way cooking and there was no gas station opened.
I had to fill at 1,100 per kg from a local gas merchant.
If one does not have to experience the current high price themselves, they would think we are making a fuse about the high prices and the rate at which a dollar now exchanges with the Naira.

If it is about the economy of this country, it is going from terrible to worse and most of the decisions the government is making are affecting the people and they are not bothered what irritates me the most is the fact that all these unions are not doing or saying anything I believe there will come a time when the people will have to take matters into their own hands at least when everyone decides not to go to work then they will listen to people labor has planned for a strike but once they greece there palms they will keep quite. According to statistics from 2020 to now, 5kg of gas was around 1000 nairas, and now 5kg of gas is going for 5000 nairas, with plans to raise it to 1200 per kg. What a country, the only solution I see is to switch to other methods of cooking, such as firewood or coal, because how do you expect people to survive? and you making use of the alternatives also means you planting trees.

This gas dey o. Na just because say some of these marketers and suppliers wan cash out from am that's why we are experiencing what we are experiencing with it. Nigerians are wicked to themselves. The government is not always bad. Dem sef fit don pass order for the price to come down but then because say Dem nor fit effectively monitor am, nothing happens a d also no punishment for those wey disobey the order.

So e be you like say that one go happen. Cement price no go dump like that, na today we dey hear dat kind thing. The price no go drop when dangote never confirm am as the biggest manufacturer, so na wish e just be. We go go expect who they buy gas for wholesale price at 300 before they sell 400+ when dollar been they low come they buy now way dollar high at 890 come still they sell the same thing, my guy things really expensive. No be just for the gas even the cylinder and the tank it self price don add money.

Just day before yesterday estimate way person make finish to come Onne port harcourt come buy gas taker and the meter reader all together earlier this year price way them tell am for everything nah 3.5 million naira but just interval of how many month even 6M under abeg sellers no still gree say exchange rate they affect everything this nah because almost everything nah buy them they buy am finish from away, so me I no they see am as Watin they strange.

Who wan buy gas for cheaper rate, make them avoid road side for now try they waka reach gas station me self just buy 920 per 1KG just this morning eh no reach 1k sometimes this road side sellers they wan carry price frustrate person life.

It is so scary to see how the price of things they increase everyday, the price at which gas they right now is very expensive and no be say e go remain for this price but it will still keep going high. E come dey as if the government no dey do anything to even make things better.  I dey ask myself how the ordinary wey no job dey survive. This one wey be say a kg of gas Don reach 1000 naira that means by next year by this time the price fit Don reach times two . The best thing to do na just dey conscious and minimise the way we spend money , this is the only solution on how people fit manage this present economy.

Please stop blaming the government over mediocre stuff. First lets do some review on how gas price surge to this level.

We need to understand that the government don't subsidized cooking gas as they does back then with petrol, so the marketers import the LPG(Liquified petroleum gas) and sell slightly above what they bought at the international price, they can sell at any how price because there is body that regulate sales price for all the marketers. The reason why we saw increment in sales of price of gas was because the price of crude oil has increase and that makes all the refined product from crude oil to increased in price as well, not only the price of gas that has increase, the petrol has increased as well but there speculation that the federal government has resume subsidizing of the petrol and that is why the price has remain the same, the marketers are not fools to sell at loss.



From the chart, you can see the price of oil was trading around $94 towards the end of September and that was when marketers raise their prices, the price went down to $84 but now it is currently trading around $87 as of today, so expect the price of petroleum product to reduce a little. This is not the first time price of gas does fluctuates, it goes up and down, its not a static market.

In addition to the price increment, the dollarization of the country is getting to an edge where solution need to be profound before things go out of hand, the naira has been depreciating against dollar which is also bad for people that import goods to the countries, if they sell gas in local currency and dollar increases, it means they will add more money to their capital before they can buy anything.

Various alternative means to get gas has been carried out and many research has been done but they have been abandoned. Do you know why?
That's because:
1. Cost of production energy might exceed the throughput.
2. Not readily available for masses.
3. They are not as clean as the LPG gases, there is possibility of more treatment after extraction of those gases because home gas is not a pure butane but propylene + Isobutane+ propane + butylene and butane. It's possible that other sources might not have these constituents or might even have an effluent which need adsorption to remove the contaminants.

The cost of gases might become affordable for poor man if the government interven and subsidize it but I doubt if the current government has any plan to do so right now.

As people find it more economical than PMS since the price hike of petrol, the demand for LPG became high and can also lead to price increase due to transportation cost and the unavailability of good access roads to distribute the LPG as quick as possible.

Secondly, the exchange rate; Naira keep depreciating and these marketers are mostly importing these goods abroad and offer foreign currencies for exchange of goods, which is why if Naira value drops, the price of imported goods will also goes up.

The government need to do something about all these because the poor masses that don't have enough money to even afford food are always affected by these.

E just dey painful say wickedness dey our leaders blood too much because what do we really enjoy as benefit from the government. Gas 1000naira per kg, God abeg make the gas wey i fill last time nor finish for the next two years (wishful thinking). How will some families survive, high cost of fuel, high cost of gas now, lack of electricity, low business patronage because people nor too hold money for some kind purchase right now, Increasing cost of education and we dey Renewed Hope where one year never complete?

Make we just dey hope say e go first bad before e go cun better.

This thing go affect people wey dey into wholesale of cement and dem dun already buy market for the old price. If the price of the cement drop now, dem go fit sell at a loss because them still get old stock wey dem buy old price.

This Nigeria Matter just get as e be if not how things go just dey change any how people was happy that since the price of Petro is high and dey don bring method of cooking gas and people see am said it will favor them if dey turn their generator to cooking gas it will better than buy fuel 5litres with big amount of money and it won't serve them well. And 2kg of gas go take them alot of hours with small amount of money, and now because of the wickedness of our leaders dey know wan see said our country don progress that's why don go increase the price of gas from N600 to N1000. How can they expect us poor people to survive in such a harsh condition?

Actually in Nigeria if something rise up e dey hard make him drop again this issue of things that are rising dey pain me to the extent sometimes I dey feel like crying your Nigeria

And again the aspect of cooking gas there are other alternatives is just that this alternative are more harder than that of cooking gas we have charcoal that one no need electricity we fit use am and again electric cooker but that one till you get light there are some also which I didn’t remember but some people will know them

Just some days ago I go refill my cooking gas for B.Y and the price of 1kg nah N890, although nah for gas plant oo, no be for black market, but e no mean whether nah gas plant or not, gas price high and as e done high I no sure say e go still come down to the normal price way e been dey before.
The more way things dey cost for this our country nah the more way life dey hard for pipo, even if say the person get money or not the economy of this we country go still affect the person.
As this country dey so e done hard for so many pipo both the young and the old ones and as this country hard so, e no dey easy for some pipo to carry 1k dash person.

The price no be here oo but for my side I no dey buy am dis high sha. I no know why d price dey differ dis days for different places for d country. If dis one really happen na real gbese we go see for we country oo. Since when dis fuel subsidy removal happen, na so so skyrocketing of price we just dey see everyday. I even hear say d price of fuel for don move from N615 wey E be now to almost N1000 per litre if no be say the federal government still pay subsidy on top d petroleum price again. I just dey imagine now, which way naija, which way naija.


Me never still get believe for dis new method of using methane gas for cooking. D thing look kind of chemical tin and if d tin don reach dis stage, person suppose look into d advantage and disadvantages too. Methane gas na very volatile gas wey fit cause mass destruction if any leakage dey. So safety first before anything. Na very good method since e go reduce d cost of purchasing cooking gas but make we dey try find out d hazardous part of it too.


Just calculate how long since d day you begin dey use gas up to today. Economy don change na, even cost of living for dis people wey dey sell the gas don increase again. For any action today, reaction dey always follow, so d price increase get wey e look up to. If nothing don change since den, dat means d economy don stable be that. But d way e be so, economy still dey dangle first.

My brother, na for only Nigeria wey the law of gravity no dey work, if the price of commodity for market don go up, e no dey come down again. I know say I been don buy around N680 - 750/kg, after some time the price come drop well well, people come dey happy, some people even convert their generators and cars to dey use liquefied gas, only for the price to shoot to N1000/kg.

I know say Nigerians dey really go through a lot this days as the price of commodities dey on the high side but the hike in price of cooking gas just dey too much. Sometimes I dey reason wether the increment na just a way in discouraging people make dem no convert their generators and cars to dey use liquefied gas.
