Why would someone go and invest in something called a corona coin. I wish people are smart and don't go chasing quick gains and end up losing their money to some scammer.
that's really ridiculous. I believe, those kind of projects are bullshit including coronacoin. It would be a wrong decision investing on those project or support them. no doubt they are fraud, just enter into crypto market with fake team member including plagiarism white paper, so that they can make investors fool. And will be the result of losing money and waste of time.
i guess the corona hype is already over as im not seeing anymore new corona-related projects. but we are still in the defi hype.

On seeing the name of the project, it was certain that the project was a joke and would most likely turn out wrong. Any project that wants to take advantage of the pandemic to secure a use case has nothing to offer. Its an obvious fact that the virus has no cure yet and the world is yet to agree on the vaccination to be administered.
I dont know why anyone of a lucid mind would invest in these kind of shitcoins when you have a ton of low market cap gems out there right now. Did they think that the name of the coin will attract wider community into adopting it or would it become kind of a meme coin, I just dont get it, but its not that surprising as more and more stupid money flows into the crpyto space right now.
Taking advantage of opportunities to seek profit has happened very often in the world of cryptocurrency, They devise a plan to find victims who are tempted by the huge benefits offered. There are so many projects like this, and strangely enough, there are still many people who are victims. Are they not learning from experience, or are they novice investors with no experience in the cryptocurrency world ...? I don't know if a good heart person would want to investing a coin with a name of a virus that is killing humanity.

They are doing the typical publicity stunt to make money. Things that are googled often give you a lot of unwilling hits and entries. For this reason people were trying to cash in on sexcoin, bit/bitcoin something, trumpcoin and now coronacoin.
This team of scammers is burned. Let's hope they're never able to launch a project again.

It was bound to end this way. If you look closely at this project which is powered by the corona virus, what happens when there's a vaccine for the virus or eventually there's a cure? Some of the projects launched are not really necessary when you critically look into their utility.
They are just trying to ride on the pandemic, they create something related to the pandemic we have been experience to and expect that it would out. Without any usage or clear plan forr the future the project turns out to be scam and the devs jumpship to create new one.

As long as people never learn and keeps on supporting these kind of developers, they will keep on creating scam projects, obviously from the start many people have warned about these kind of dubious projects but still some prefer to go and invest, you have nothing to blame but yourself if you invest here.

Why people even give money to these obvious scam. It's better not to venture everywhere and stick to some prominent exchange IEO and tested coins. Even if you missed investing in a good coin, you can easily buy them cheap when they get listed on the exchange. So, don't dive on every IPOs and IEOs from less popular exchanges.
