I am in Pittsburgh PA and I have an average of .041KWH.  This is a commercial rate through Green Mountain Enegry and i only have it because once a year, I call these electric companies and play them off one another.  It is a pain in the butt, but they rather have the customer than loose the business.

Thanks.

That Georgia Power is interesting considering that is Residential.  How close are you to Hartsfield?

AEP in Ohio is over $0.06/kw commercial/industrial unless you use 6MW or more and then it is not much less than 0.06.

I have been told WA is $0.02/kwh but can not find tarrif online.

i recently signed up for a new off-peak power plan for which I pay ONLY 0.03 per Kw/h !!   I currently use 35-40,000 Kw/h per month with my home mining setup.  I have 34 TB bitcoin and 1.6Ghash scrypt.  Its a new off-peak add-on for business customers at Georgia power.  Peak hours are June to September from 2pm to 7pm.  during these 5 hours per day the rate is 0.16 per kwh.  Weekends, holidays, and winter are all  off-peak  i  power down completely during these 5 hours.

I am selling my house which I have about good amount of equity.   I am considering investing in BTC and going commercial and getting warehouse space and 2 or 3 SP-50's when they are released, if ever.   If I can get the spondoolies, why couldn't i just put them  in my garage ?  i already have a 400 amp service installed and working in the garage, which is separate from the house.   Imagine 300+ Th with 3 network and power connections?  The specs are 16,000 watts for a Sp50

16000 watts * 3 SP50's = 48000 watts  /  240 volts =  200amps

whats wrong with this idea?

In May i think it is there may be some new Script miners coming  that will blow your set up  way  Smiley . if they come thu well see how ever. with power usage more like the S7 or Avalon 6 out now but are script miner .

the question is will it fit how big are they gonna be  etc  . why not in a home , i thought it was only a few they plan to sell.

This may get deleted but it's not off topic i live in Maryland at present were i live i get the best rates any place around me for the next year I'm at 0.0855 anytime of day or nite no mater how much i use it's what BG and E gets a way wirth and does that kills it all with there lame fees . not saying that's the best rates in Maryland it's not, Ive scene some places here it's as low as 5 to 6 cents but were I live in this part of Maryland because i  have to deal with  BG and E, I'm screwed , you will find that most plans other then business plan that are low or 4 cents and lower are based in Washington state, i even went on line one time looked at the nations power rates by state you can  Smiley . and  only one other state then was lower then Washington state that was Ohio at that time.

Washington State.  Been hosting miners for 3 years and it is great.  Still requires a lot of initial investment to take advantage of that rate, but it is real.

Washington state has it. Residential won't get this rate but commercial can.

IF you have electric rates at $0.04/Kwh or LESS in North America, would you please post your rate and location?

Thanks!

****** EDIT******
Thanks for responses.  I am going delete off topic posts to keep this useful.  And yes, industrial/commercial rates, NO residential.  Required demand & electric provider would be useful too.
