LItecoin is the very powerful coin and it has excellent potential but as compare to bitcoin and  ETH , Litecoin can not become a targeted coin in near future because there are many project who are running with the base of ETH and BTC .

in the end no matter what you say, litecoin is still a copy of bitcoin and copy coins are never known to be that successful. in my opinion the only reason why litecoin has this success so far is because other coins are terrible coins and a copy coin like LTC which has a good developer can survive and gain popularity. otherwise if we start seeing good altcoins there is no chance for it to survive the competition.

the heavy load I think for litecoin to be able to be great. Although this coin has the potential but still could not be said to be eligible for investment. maybe even if compared with the ethereum it still better ethereum in the different point of view.

I see the popularity of one of the altcoins that are no less good than bitcoin and is very possible in the future to be invested in litecoin. If you see how Litecoin appears, you will find that Litecoin was created as a second chance for those who cannot invest in Bitcoin or use it. Currently, Litecoin is able to make transactions faster than bitcoin, with block confirmation time only taking 2.5 minutes, which is four times faster than bitcoin 10 minutes.

Litecoin is also similar to other bitcoin and cryptocurrency, there is a maximum and minimum Litecoin limit that will be available. If bitcoin has 21 million coins that can be mined, while there are 84 million Litecoin that can be mined in the next few years. And of course, this will be the target of crypto miners in the years to come after bitcoin was taken out by the current miners.

No, I will never guess that Litecoin will be the next Bitcoin. Yes, this oldest token has returned its popularity but I doubt very much that it has the future of BTC. Its market cap will stay high as people simply know it is pretty stable.

Litecoin has some amazing features and thus attracted people immensely It's hard to predict the exact future. Ethereum and Litecoin share significant portion of the crypto market and both are in competetion with each other. I think the better will come out victorious.

Litecoin is indeed a good crypto but there are many cryptos which are more popular than LTC such as ripple, ethereum and the likes so probably if we would be talking to a crypto next to bitcoin, it might be other crypto. But still, making such conclusion at this moment that the market is still on downtrend would be pointless. No crypto at this moment has assurance of recovery given that majority of the market is on downfall.

Litcoin has the potential but will always has the competiotion of Ethereum for that spot. As a stat geek, it is known that Ethereum is largely used after bitcoin and Litecoin is considerably new to the scene, but always has the potential to be so, but unlikely.

Honestly, I do not think so. As there are many altcoins with more features and potential other than Litecoin. Like Monero which after applying "Bulletproof" has cut their transactions cost almost 0.

Lite coin has potential but there are plent of of ther altcoins that are providing similar attributes. I am skeptical of it being the next targated coin after Bitcoin.

I don't see any chances of success for this coin. It's good, no doubt, but as for me, this coin's faceless and has no benefits over Bitcoin and new blockchains which are quicker and cheaper.

I think that Ethereum will retain his second place. Even if Neo, Nem or some other ethereum-like cryptocurrency will become stronger, a lot of projects would be still based on the Ethereum ecosystem.

Litecoin is a dead project since the founder of Litecoin has sold all his coins. Why he did it? Because he wants to make Litecoin decentrealized? Cmon.
He knew very well where his project was going  Wink Cool.

Maybe. Who would have imagined that the 2017 market cap of cryptocurrencies would grow so much? From double digits to triple digits. That's insane growth… We just don’t know what will happen  Roll Eyes

Yes and I think it is going to happen in the future. I mean one LTC costs only 50 bucks and it is a very perspective coin that in my opinion is much better than Bitcoin. LTC is much faster and the transactions are also much cheaper.

What are those other bitcoin?

If difficulty of other altcoins increases and the only one that can be seen as a good coin to mine then miners would jump quickly to Litecoin for sure.
I'm not saying Altcoin like LTC is better than BTC. But if the BTC has run out to be mined, the miner will target another coin to be mined. Because we all know that cryptocurrency has a limited total supply

That means that the miner must have a target coin that will be mined if BTC has run out and cannot be mined again.
If all supply of bitcoin has been mined then miners will keep on mining bitcoin for confirming transactions.

Litecoin has got a lot of potential, but there are also other coins out there who has hgot more potential than that. So, chances of Litecoin becoming the next coin with satbilty right after Bitcoin is lower. However, if some certain situation arises in the market where Litecoin remains unaffected, it has got a chance of becoming the next targeted coin after bitcoin.

yes i also think so. LTC will be a good targeted coin of investors and whales too. also its investor is alive and ltc is great coin among crypto community. if btc reach $100000 then i think LTC deserves to be around $3000 to $5000

I mean Litecoin is technologically superior to Bitcoin, but so is just about every other crypto, so I don't think that's a value proposition. But Litecoin has a long history as far as crypto is concerned and will probably remain relevant as the "silver" to Bitcoin's gold.

Many other coins can be a potential coin after bitcoin. Besides that litecoin is under ethereum for the price and it needs time for litecoin to increase higher. Maybe in the next years the litecoin price will go up and can compete with the other expensive coins.
