Already, there are such coins that have a price that exceeds the price of BTC. But despite this, they do not have an increased demand among investors. Usually, such coins have high volatility, which does not allow them to be considered as an investment object for large capital.

i believe as long as bitcoin still have a strong support no one can take over its value and it will always fly to the highest level even though sometime whale preferred to manipulate the price when it become so expensive. And for me ethereum will stay 2nd in the market although the volume is higher than bitcoin at this moment in the market, still no chance to take over when bitcoin start again to bump the price because it always rocketed even within weeks it possible.. That's how good bitcoin after the hard fall reason more ppl rely in it because it always make good profits even just a short period.. if yes then how many years it can be take ? if all people shift from Bitcoin to Ethereum then what changes can be occur ?

There's no denying that many people are already dreaming of ETH surpassing BTC，the founder of ETH：Vitalik Buterin，he is one of them. But for me, i think is impossible at least so far. But in the future, who knows?

Even though bitcoin is the pioneer on all of this but i believe one day ETH can be the number one in marketcap. Why? because ethereum can continue to grow and upgrade its projects regularly while bitcoin will be outdated

Impossible to happen. If only for the price there are some coins that can exceed bitcoin. The market cap is irreplaceable. And ethereum has a very large fee, this makes less demand. We can see from the airdrop and bounty projects and it is getting more and more crowded on the bsc network.

I don't think it can happen. Especially with Ethereum common problem which is gas fee that really a problem for people when want to send it or maybe send tokens with it. Because people must pay a lot only to send tokens and it is a problem since cheap fees will be demanded by people. if yes then how many years it can be take ? if all people shift from Bitcoin to Ethereum then what changes can be occur ?

If you only talk about the price of bitcoin, of course there are some coins that are more expensive than bitcoin, namely YFI coins, their price is above bitcoin.
However, if you only expect an altcoin price to be above Bitcoin, you still can't compete with bitcoin. Bitcoin is still the King of the coin and is still irreplaceable. even though ethereum is still ranked 2nd after bitcoin.

I think that if we would get a new number 1 crypto currency after Bitcoin, it would likely be Ethereum. Right no we are still below 40,000 USD with Bitcoins, both China and Elon Musk are doing everything in their power to lower the price further. It is hard to predict what is going to happen in the next few month. In my opinion, we will likely see a similar price as we see right now. And if the price of bitcoin is not going to rise for a while I would expect that investors start looking for alternatives. The upside potential with ETH seems much higher than it is with BTC right now.

In the end nobody knows the future. We don't have a crystal ball. We are not a seer. You can only speculate and believes your investment. If you don't do that you won't make money. Of course blindly believing is not going to help either. Be smart with your money, don't go all in and you'll be comfortable even if your picked alts do not perform as good as Bitcoin.
There is always a possibility that other coins price will goes up. We cannot totally say what may happen in the future because of the situation that is why possibilities are there. Besides there are lots of potential coins which is in line in becoming same as bitcoin. Just think positively and have trust in every decision you have kept.

No, I don't see it happening in the future. I think bitcoin will still be the top crypto in the next years to come. But we are good though, at least Ethereum could go up to 5 digits and higher and then bitcoin going to 6 digits.
Investors are not going to shift abruptly to Ethereum, and I'm not sure if Ethereum could be a store or speculative asset. For sure Vitalik doesn't want that to happen to Ethereum at least, he want's Ethereum to be a solid project that can help expand blockchain technology.

People who are using bitcoin will not switch to ethereum for any other reason, they might switch any coin which uses better technology than Bitcoin anyway which is not going to happen.if yes then how many years it can be take ? if all people shift from Bitcoin to Ethereum then what changes can be occur ?
If all the cryptocurrency holders sell their assets and buy Bitcoin then mathematically it will be more valuable than bitcoin but not in reality.

A secure coin with really low supply, high demand and strong/useful decentralized economy that can securely accommodate lots of users for peer-to-peer transactions could easily be as high as Bitcoin in a "short time" and still remains high long-term. Before you join such project, make sure it's safe enough to almost guarantee the high price long-term. An insecure Network could easily lose that if it's hacked or breaks down due to substandard infrastructure/system.

It could be possible, especially if ethereum can invite more investor to come. But so far, bitcoin still make the investor interest to invest in bitcoin. We do not know if that can really happen or not because all of the things in the crypto world is a mystery and we do not know what will happen later. I doubt people will shift from bitcoin to ethereum since they believe that bitcoin will lift the price to the highest price. if yes then how many years it can be take ? if all people shift from Bitcoin to Ethereum then what changes can be occur ?

Such thing could definitely happen, there's nothing stopping it but the odds aren't really big because BTC still favourable as of now, large portion of market cap still goes there but im gonna say every year a good altcoin released that somehow eating up btc's market cap a little and a little
as of current state ETH dominance is quite big now and lemme be frank here, ETH could overthrow BTC but it has very slim chance but if ETH market could stand alone without following BTC trend it could surpass BTC in term of market capitalisation.
the thing that's happening about bullish market is bitcoin dominance always increase eating up any altcoins out there and it could go up from 40% to 75% market dominance easily that always prevents altcoin from growing and surpassing BTC. but if i'm given an option which one gonna have the biggest potential in overtaking or dethroning bitcoin from #1 position
im gonna bet it's ETH not something else

The change would be nothing that much. If many people are going to shift from bitcoin to ethereum then there will be more people that would catch those sold bitcoins. It's not wise to sell bitcoin although I've got these two investments. I prefer to hold both of it and not just one.

There are very small chances for Bitcoin to be overthrown - maybe even none. Bitcoin is the oldest blockchain and every other cryptocurrency is mainly based off of Bitcoin, even if some use technology that may appear to be way different than Bitcoin. Apart from that, Bitcoin has the most investor, users and the biggest community that keeps it flowing in the market. Even if a lot of people switch to other coins, the market is so strong other cryptocurrencies would still need a lot of time to catch up. But that wont happen since most of people who invest in crypto invest in Bitcoin even if they use other coins. Alternative coins aren't bad or something but they surely wont get stronger than Bitcoin.

Top altcoins will be have best rallies together with Bitcoin. In this market, in this time, you can not get profit with shit coins. If we are just talking about market value, there is a coin that surpasses BTC in price, yearn.finance, or YFI. But of course, it cannot beat the market capitalization of BTC. I think it's better to talk about the market cap instead of the actual market value on what amount it's being traded upon.
If you want another coin to win, maybe the parameter would be on most usability or application?
Yes, yearn finance have got higher price than bitcoin in the past. In terms of marketcap bitcoin always stands on the top. Even there are many other altcoins that has provided users with higher ROI than bitcoin, but those coins never last long in the market. Real-time usage and circulation contribute much in the growth of cryptocurrencies. The same is possible with very few top listed cryptocurrencies whereas the rest are much into trading than real-time usage. If you want another coin to win, maybe the parameter would be on most usability or application?
