Bitcoin payments are not accepted by government in Vietnam also as many other developed countries, because bitcoin has not shown its true value. The bitcoin value is based on the number of users. Its value is not stable, can be increased or drop down rapidly. Moreover, besides Bitcoin, there are many other coins in the world's crypto currency, which makes bitcoin lose its value when currency market is fluctuated..

At present, although the cryptocurrency market is still hot, its treatment in different countries is not the same. Some countries are boycotting them, while others are expanding their use. Bitcoin payments are gradually expanding from nonprofit institutions such as universities and charities to a wide range of business services.

Of course, different countries have different views about bitcoin, we cannot blame them, not all countries are open to this kind of platforms, some due to ignorance and incapacitated in terms of cyber related platforms such as bitcoin that is obviously internet-based system, even in a single country, not all people under that country has the same percepction as far as bitcoin is concern, just give bitcoin a chance, surely in its time, slowly more and more people and country will accept cryptos, not only bitcoin.

I think many developed countries already use bitcoin as a means of payment transactions, for example in Japan, the United States, Denmark, South Korea and Finland.
In Indonesia bitcoin is an illegal currency but there are some places in Indonesia that are willing to accept bitcoin as a means of payment, as in Bali there are some money changers that accept bitcoin as a medium of exchange, there are also several cafes and some Bitcoin ATM machines which are in Ubud, Kuta and also there is one new ATM machine installed Jakarta.

For reference you can see some of the following articles: https://coinatmradar.com/bitcoin_atm/547/bitcoin-atm-bitxatm-jakarta-ltc-glodok/, http://www.bilikupdate.com/2015/11/mesin -payment-bitcoin-atm-bitcoin.html, https://gatotsutrisno.com/money-changer-bali/

Bitcoin, as a digital asset, is currently available for payment in some countries, such as Japan and Germany. Most businesses accept bitcoin indirectly through third-party payment agencies, ie buyer purchases bitcoin for payment, third-party entities exchange bitcoins immediately after receiving bitcoins, and merchants receive legal currency instead of bitcoin.

You will find that the countries most apposed to Crypto currencies are those countries with weak local currencies or dictator/police state countries, where politicians wants full control over their citizens.

Bitcoin is borderless and decentralized and not under the "rule" or authority of a single entity and this is a threat to them.

You need to think a little bit outside the box with this one. I have a Crypto Debit Card that I can use right now in any country and anywhere that accepts MasterCard. I can choose to pay in any one of currently 7 different crypto currencies BTC, ETH, ZEC, LTC, XMR, XRP, DASH and I have zero fees for spending them. Take a look at Centra it may solve a lot of your current limitations.

I thought VISA and MasterCard were cutting all ties with Wave Crest Holdings who is the main issuer of crypto currencies debit cards? They broke some policies for which all cards will be disabled within the first few weeks of February.

Some country have accepted the bitcoin as the payment for transaction everything by bitcoin be the payment, they have allow for the bitcoiner using bitcoin as the payment for their transaction like United State, Japan, Russian. but any country still not allowed for make transaction by using bitcoin as the payment because they wanna bitcoin will be change the the using of their money. by using bitcoin will be less people using money and the value of the money will be not increase.

There are lots of countries who accept bitcoin payments. According to Prableen Bajpaj in his article entitled 'Countries Where Bitcoin Is Legal & Illegal (DISH, OTSK)', bitcoin is anonymously used in transactions that can happen anytime and anywhere. They may used it to buy things, sell illegal goods like weapons and drugs and others. Here are the countries listed to be said that say 'okay' for bitcoin.

United States, Canada, Finland, and Australia.

In United States, they positively accept it yet several agencies in their country prevent the usage of bitcoin. In Canada, they used bitcoin for exchanges and service businesses. In Australia, they used it for mining, trading and buying bitcoin.

May I add something, Japan had very open for the Bitcoin and the Cryptocurrency. They have legalized the use of it, but the mass adoption is still slow.
As what really intended when bitcoin is founded it must be used as mode of payment for virtual goods and services unfortunately it is now use more as a medium on investment and storage of value. Hope a year or two later bitcoin would be used worldwide as mode of payment. I can see it still far to happen in my country but Japan and other neighbor country being open on this kind of transaction is a good sign I guess.

Yes. I think that's normal. because every country has a different view of bitcoin, but I see. all countries realize that bitcoin has a good development and can improve a country's economy. But they are afraid and worried about the many people who abuse bitcoin for crime.

The typical Chinese and Indonesian governments reject bitcoin transactions, but Japan and South Korea support and recognize bitcoin as a legitimate payment currency. Mainly affected by the national conditions.

Philippines is one of the countries that accept BTC as payment via Coinsph app. This app allows you to pay your Power & Water bills, Credit Card bills, Internet Service Provider Bills, Government bills and Tuition fees. You can also buy load and can get great deals at Overstock.com .

Good thing my country legalized bitcoin. Well theres a lot of countries who do accept bitcoin as means of payment.
You can search at Google of whom these countries legalized bitcoin and whom who banned bitcoin as well. I checked it too and they have different reasons to accept btc as payment.

I am looking forward to my country accepting bitcoin as a means of payment, so we, as the first ones to come into bitcoin, can take the lead. And more and more facts tell us that bitcoin is being accepted by more countries. This is an improvement. Bitcoin is rising.

Even if the country accepts cryptocurrency, you'd still have problems finding merchants who accepts this as payment methods. Although its the first step, we will still have a long way to go.
