I am a fan of this guy, I used to read his books but I have to disagree with him this time.
His prediction could be wrong because bitcoin is a strong asset, it might dip but it will not crash.

Some prediction says that bitcoin will crash during the pandemic as people will not invest since they will focus on their needs, but look what happen, we are seeing the opposite, our market now is very progressive, so I believe he will be wrong.

I don't think is possible that approved of corona virus vaccines can enhanced Gold, Silver and bitcoin stability, because the finance for researching of the vaccines is government responsibility, so how would it affect bitcoin if it happened to be proved.
There are still connection here.
Remember when coronavirus started to spread all over the world? There are massive dumps happened in all the market, cryptocurrency markets or stocks.
But what Bitcoin did, Bitcoin was managed to recover immediately.
I also agree with this, a crash again if COVID-19 will have a vaccine soon, just what like happened before when coronavirus started.

Bitcoin is going to crash and recover and crash and recover again. You need to watch the long term trend of the lows, and not the highs. It's only association with viruses, and mortgage repossessions and the like, is the fact that they are being used to create bear squeezes to allow the bankers to harvest Bitcoins.

If I'm not mistaken, I had read the News about "Vaccines destroy Bitcoin" in August 2020.

I had to pick it up again for clarity on the vaccine.

Bitcoin will not be destroyed. It's just a matter of pros and cons, wanting to show power in the eyes of the world.

Did Russian COVID-19 Vaccine News Crash Bitcoin and Gold Prices?
Quote
Meanwhile, although several other factors than a COVID-19 vaccine may have been the primary driver for the gold sell-off, including modest outflows from gold-backed ETFs (exchange-traded funds) and an unusually overbought reading on the Relative Strength Index (RSI), it seems that hopes for a quicker economic recovery have put some pressure on gold in the short-term.

Many scientists who oppose the Russian issue of the vaccine certificate.

Russia’s approval of a COVID-19 vaccine is less than meets the press release
Quote
But the certificate stipulates that the vaccine cannot be used widely until 1 January 2021, presumably after larger clinical trials have been completed.

Scientists around the world immediately denounced the certification as premature and inappropriate, as the Gamaleya vaccine has yet to complete a trial that convincingly shows it is safe and effective in a large group of people. Even some within Russia challenged the move. “It's ridiculous,” says Svetlana Zavidova, a lawyer who heads the Association of Clinical Research Organizations in Russia. “I feel only shame for our country.” Zavidova, who has worked on clinical trials for 20 years and anticipated the approval, yesterday sent an appeal to the Ministry of Health to postpone registering the vaccine until proper efficacy trials are completed. “Accelerated registration will no longer make Russia a leader in this race, it will only expose end users of the vaccine, citizens of the country of the Russian Federation, to unnecessary danger,” she wrote on behalf of the clinical research group.

I think all this News many countries are against about the emergence of Vaccines, it is not clear.

Undoubtedly as said by: zasad@ the best opportunity to invest in Bitcoin in the long run.

Then it's a good opportunity to buy and to reinvest. It's really possible that it would gonna dump but a good lnvestor/trader will always have a good plan when sudden crash happens. Like cut losses, stop loss or even continue to hold.
It's really good if they'll gonna produce and formulate this vaccine. We suffered a lot because of this COVID-19, and if ever this will gonna affect bitcoin market then it may handel that situation as bitcoin market is alwaya volatile. What important is the health of the people and bitcoin will always find a way to go up.

With that in mind, they need liquidity and turn their assets into cash. It will cause a crash once they liquidate their holdings for the buying of the vaccine.

1. I've read papers telling that vaccine is expected to be rather cheap. Under 20 EUR or maybe even under 10 EUR. And this is said by the farma companies.
This means that maybe it's expensive for governments, but not for individuals. Governments don't sell gold, they just print more paper.
2. Even if it'll be a "crash", it'll be a bear trap.
3. If the governments need even more money then the fiat will be diluted even more, so I expect gold, silver, bitcoin actually rise. Even the govts of the countries with stronger economies, if they want to get to strengthen their currency, they'll need time (good/stable/profitable working time) so I'm not worried of sudden crash.

Edit:  (I forgot to write) Most probably the vaccine will be flu-vaccine-like: you'll have to take one every now and then. I have more hopes in something like this than the currently developed vaccines.

What I'm still trying to understand is why a possible cure to a disease that kept the whole worlds economy in lockdown to also cause a crash in the economy when the cure or prevention is been discovered. Without much thinking the possible outcome should be the world economy will start picking up since there won't be panic among the people to some extent knowing fully well the pandemic isn't as deadly as we presumed. If the assumption is that bitcoin would crash as a result of liquidity been dissolved to Invest in other regulated areas like commodities, stock and natural resource that I'll be understandable but then that's unlikely to happen.

Because during the pandemic we thought bitcoin would dump hugely. But it happened reverse trend, although it was dumped for a while, but overall bitcoin has shown a strong resistance.

This might just be my thoughts but I think bitcoin was affected massively, it dropped almost 50% or more and took down all altcoins with it. Although the market recoverd but it wasn't only the cryptocurrencies industry and also it leading the chart of recovering market had a  major boost from DeFi hype that made the market bullish again. Irrespective if this, if you observe carefully you can still see some fear in the market as the re-trace keep happening every now and then.

It makes more sense when save heaven assets like Gold are predicted to restand such scenario, the government are in debts obviously which result to bankruptcy, then the citizens turns to other realized assets like Gold to save their funds which creates more demand that pushes the price upward.

Popular author Robert Kiyosaki claims that Bitcoin (BTC) will "crash" when the world finds an effective coronavirus vaccine.

https://twitter.com/theRealKiyosaki/status/1305930263482871808

" What happens when vaccine is proven?  Gold silver Bitcoin will CRASH. Buying opportunity. Real problem NOT Pandemic. Real problem massive US debt. US Bankrupt.

A dip is at least more to be expected when this happens, many people will surely convert their bitcoin to fiats making tons of sell orders which will drag down the price for a while. We can only fear bitcoin price going down I think if this pandemic will keep on going on.
It will surely take a long time till we get a vaccine for sure, until then we can speculate and hope for the best.

A few days ago I saw a colleague's Twitter post about vaccines that have been used in China and now they no longer use mask protection because it has been successful, but I hope this information is correct and it will certainly be exciting for other countries.

But regarding the price reduction, I feel that there is no significant impact happening with this pandemic relationship, because it has happened several times and continues to be like that. There is no need to worry about this because in time the price will go up again. certainly there is no direct connection with the pandemic. we are just waiting for the time that the increase will occur.

I believe it's a possibility, especially when it's confirmed. Once the trials have been passed, all the experiments are done, and the WHO declaring it safe and secure, all the governments would come together and purchase that vaccine. With that in mind, they need liquidity and turn their assets into cash. It will cause a crash once they liquidate their holdings for the buying of the vaccine. It's the same for the people. People need money in order to buy the vaccine, and they would liquidate their assets as well. They are looking forward to that crash and if that would happen it's a discount for Bitcoin, and if you follow the advice of Kiyosaki, buy Gold as well.

The economic effects are what I'm worried about. With that kind of debt, all around the world, what would happen to the people?

I don't see any correlation between the advent of the coronavirus vaccine and the subsequent fall in the price of bitcoin. A victory over the coronavirus pandemic should revive the global economy and give impetus to the further growth of the cryptocurrency market. In any case, the price of bitcoin should not fall with the advent of the vaccine. It is unlikely that people will show much interest in purchasing this vaccine. In my country, a survey was conducted and about 70 percent of people said they did not see a big threat to their lives from the spread of the coronavirus.

Do you remember when the World Health Organization (WHO) announced that it is a pandemic, the global financial markets were crashed terrible and crypto market had the most terrible crash in latest years?

A few months later, the pandemic has become worse and worse but no one are talking about it and price of bitcoin and altcoins are in bullish.

Now or in the future, why such news that the pandemic is over (with vaccination), the price of bitcoin will be dipped?
your wrong . the pandemic talks or the covid19 virus talks had never been stopped but its always on the trend whether on social media , news ,and locals but your right  with your point your comparing the past the and future events  . past events are so bad but crypto values manage to rise and thats not whats written on the plan so why you should be scare when theres an incoming positive news , dont tell me that the effect were reversed too ? please not

I agree it is how news works but seriously just be woke!

Such news work as SECs' potential approval or disapproval on Bitcoin ETFs.  Grin

I wouldn't really call it a crash though, most would just probably move back to investing into companies that were hit by the crash last few months, then that should be it. There's still the incoming crash of the US dollar that I believe most investors would know, so leaving the safef havens of Bitcoin and others would probably prove detrimental in the long run. Still, that dip would still be enough of a reason for profit to come, so if and just if people actually sold following the dip, said dip may actually go lower than expected.

I don't understand the reasoning here as well why bitcoin will crash once covid vaccine is available. People should be more confident now to invest as jobs will get back to normal again. And since a lot of people come to know the existence of bitcoin or crypto during this pandemic, they will have more chance to invest once their job is restored.
Jobs being restored doesn't really equate to being able to invest though? It'd probably take a few months for households to actually return to their standard expenditure, and to actually save up for investments. Plus, most people don't even invest, heck they even have debts so it'd take some time for people to actually leave their debt status. As for those that are able to invest, they should've already been investing since back then so I doubt jobs returning would make a difference.

Perhaps there will be a dip as some of those who bought bitcoin will surely cash out and allocate their money on the reopening of businesses and some may even use their holdings as a capital for a new business to replace those who were shut down permanently by the pandemic. While there is a possibility that bitcoin and the crypto market will see a dip by then, I still believe that these same assets will be one of the best performing ones in the years to come, assuming that the accumulated debt due to the pandemic will worsen things up and governments will have to implement strict financial measures to mitigate the damage.

He shared this because he truly believes that these 3 assets will be a good investment for the long term.

We know already that Kiyosaki is a supporter when it comes to these 3 assets and he is saying this because he wants us to have some profits in the long term. He is right too. US is in a massive debt and currently the most country with debts so holding and saving USD if you are in US are bullshit and better invest it into these 3.

I've been also speculating what might happen, if a vaccine is develop. It may influence the Bitcoin price as businesses reopens and people has plenty of products to buy on, and they'll be going back to their normal lives and jobs, forgetting the word Cryptocurrency. But i guess, it may think more than a year to finally make a vaccine, that time we'll be seeing Bitcoin already in ATH.

Probably a dip, as people would probably be more confident to allocate money to businesses/companies(and away from the hedges like gold) that are halted by the pandemic, but I'm not really sure about a "crash".

I'm personally expecting a bigger dip with gold than with bitcoin though; bitcoin has been pretty much mirroring the S&P500 for a while now.
yeah completely agree with mk4 and others....bitcoin crashed with the stock market and recovered with the stock market. It is doing well but nothing like 2017 bubble so dip maybe but it will be more of the usual volatility 'hiccups' bitcoin experiences regularly.   I hope it ;crashes;... I will be first in line to buy on the short term dip.  Cool

Robert Kiyosaki is now big Bitcoin supporter, and he is saying that everything will probably crash when they release this vaccine.
If everyone did what Sweden did we would not be in this problem at all, but I guess big players and pharmafia need to earn money also.
Kiyosaki does say that Gold, Silver and Bitcoin are best investments long term, and I would agree with him.
