Also war is newer, there are a lot to discuss still, sanctions, political discussions, surrender terms, etc. If that war lasts over a year and goes into the stalemate it will probably get less attention as well. People will get bored of anything eventually.

Yeah, it has, but that's expected because Covid has been going on for two years strong and people, however, the serious situation may be, tend to shit to other things with time. So let's not downplay the situation. And yes, the same will happen to this war if it goes long enough (the same happened to other crises in the past).

But the talks may shift again to China because it seems like they are turning thier heads to Taiwan after seeing the Ukraine-Russia war. This Ukraine destruction makes the Chinese realize the US will not be there for Taiwan as well. And this might just be in the news in the coming months when the Chinese ships surround Taiwan. And maybe the NATO army will also be on the borders of Ukraine on Poland probably.
It would be a perfect time to make a move towards Taiwan when the worlds eyes
are on Ukraine and indeed NATO are not willing to get involved unless the
war or any war ends up on NATO territory.

It's surprising to learn China is affected that much because they have zero tolerance to exposure to covid. Is the only country that rises up while the rest of the world is about to die. I believe China is making all these up to clog disrupting the supply chain.

Oh haven't you heard? They are now talking of an omicron subvariant blah blah from Hong Kong. You could find yourself in lockdown again within 3 weeks tops. It never ends until we've been reduced to serfs.

Covid19 has been wiped away in some countries and the effectiveness is not longer been strong as we expected, this so called diseases omnicron you mentioned is known like coronavirus, because in the place I'm basing we haven't heard such kind of disease, so the disease is the kind of disease that affect a particular country not as powerful as coronavirus, and i don't know why china will be experiencing different illness

regardless of what we'll get another issue then world are getting busy to talk about. Coronavirus is over unquestionably false, there are many countries still surviving and new variant could attack the world anytime. However, in my country there's single death record due to Covid in last 24 hours. We've to stay safe and keep following all the heath rules. The world not quite so wonderful as in the past, it's our duty to safe our-self from all those harmful activities. Sometimes, our leaders activities play the vital role as our life getting into hell just like Ukrainians general people lost their life. We as a whole interest safe world, not the news.

I've seen sources that say it's over 50 million. The Chinese government are not very transparent about these sort of matters, so it isn't clear to what degree COVID is actually surging. It could be due to Omicron, it could be due to a different variant. We don't have enough information.
If there's any indication that this might be something the rest of the world needs to worry about, we'll receive that information in about a month when the outbreak spreads else where. If it truly is an already known variant, then nothing to worry about.
