The project is not bad. Due to the epidemiological situation, he can gain a huge audience, but as soon as the pandemic passes he will quickly lose his popularity

Omicron is another FUD

the project is unclear ... it is more towards people who take advantage of the opportunity ... I'm sure the website will goes to scam project
now a lot of fundraising and insurance are popping up for COVID-19 sufferers and I see no real results..  if you want to donate it is better to donate personally to the poor around your area and if you want to take out insurance you should use services that are experienced or that have been trusted for decades in your own country..

As other posters stated, this is just another scam.
So why did you feel the need to bump the topic with a meaningless comment and give it more exposure?

We've established this is a scam and OP has obviously no interest in discussing it. Can we please stop bumping this thread.

Generic designed website - Check
Doesnt even explain everything but rather showing only donation thing - Check
These 2 points clearly summarize everything this website stands for : Scamming people! Firstly, insurance scams are quite common and insurance for COVID-19 is a freaking joke.

These guys just built this site in a hurry to try and scam some gullible souls which is downright pathetic. Some posters above are actually thinking that it could be legit. Hilarious. As other posters stated, this is just another scam.

Scam site/project probability - 99%

Im sure that no one will just blindly sent out donations or their funds and would rather just directly support people
without using any platforms or service.

This one wont buy out.

I don't think that you explained the website clear, I do not know more if that is legit because you don't even include the link of the website and you are just giving an idea with a single line. I want to suggest that if you want to consult it from others you should include more details about it because based on what you have said it is only for the people who are infected for the virus, that's it, I hope you include more so we can give feedback on it.

By anyway, if that is really legit and it helps those people who are infected by the virus, I think it would be great because you are helping people and that is what we need right now as this virus is still giving danger for so many lives of different people around the world.

I found covid19 insurance project- covid19.insure. It’s p2p foundation for supporting people with coronovirus disease launched. What do u think about it ??

There is no need for further research about it. Even for a first look, it's not trustworthy.

If you want to help, you can donate to your reputable organizations in your country.

If you want to receive some help, there should be an organization where you can ask for assistance but in most of the cases, it's automatic especially in an area where there is a great number of confirmed cases.

That's right, you should donate to those big organizations that are supported by the authority so that it is really guaranteed that your money will not be wasted. If you're aware about your surroundings, there are fraud or fake organizations that are luring people to donate in their fake fundraising and fool people. They collect money just by doing that, victims think that the money they donated will really go to those people who really need some help but in reality, they will steal it. If you are willing to donate some money for help, you should look for an organization that is legit and assisted by the government in your community. Most especially that there are families that can't sustain their lives because of financial problem that they're experiencing.

The platform looks like suspicious because some of them just scam I'm not accusing the platform because it is quite hard to trust nowadays there are a lot of phishing platforms and other kinds of stealing of information by just visiting the website, clicking some links, inputting your emails and other kinds of information you inputted to the platform. Also, the platform asks you to donate for over 20 USD just to become one of them by this kind of huge money it gives me a doubt about things can possibly happen. @OP also looks for some review more came from other people and websites because you make a move to this project. I'm looking for some information too to help other people to be more aware of this thing.

Checked the site

SSL not provided it means it is not secure to do any secure transaction in the future and even if there is no transaction inside the host it is not so professional too. First rule of a pro is to secure the site so we can secure our clients and users. Probably made by a newbie web dev.

Donate 20 USD to ETH contract just to be insured? Really human

Partners look suspicious too

People should not use this kind of scheme to con his specie but I really can't blame the hungry people these days. I just hope we can help them change and save the youngsters who are falling tho this kind of activity in the future.

My investigation says 80% scam guys, be wary

I bet that this is more of a scam than anything else as cyber criminals are taking advantage of the current Covid-19 situation.

So if I'm in the OP's shoes, just be careful, instead of getting some help, it might give you a false hope in the end, IMHO.

True, the number of donations sites and insure about Covid has been growing up in the past weeks and saddly 90% of them are scam. If people want to make a donation, support or need an insured, then you should look to their local options, there is nonsense to support other countries while our own countries are fucked up too.

I'm going to report them, using a pandemic to get some money is disgraceful behavior in addition to the misinformation that this website provides.
Unfortunately, any use of Covid19 or requesting money through it is an indication of scam unless the other party provides documents that prove the sincerity of the donation campaign that it intends to make, so whoever wants to donate is better to donate directly to the health authorities in his country.

The role of smart contracts in financial transactions to prove the arrival of funds between the two parties, but it is difficult to use them if someone is confirmed to have contracted the disease or was exposed to death.

Not a new thing and we have seen lots of similar schemes on where these scammers trying to take advantage on any situation or things that we are facing. Basing into those points above given

where it does set out a minimum amount to be given or to be donated then thats already a concrete sign that this one is just trying out to scam people.People arent that dumb enough

on easily to believe about donation thingy and i agree that it would be more worth if we do just donate directly than going to these BS things.

People trying to take advantage for the situation since they know that majority is desperate for their welfare at this point and we should know that theirs nothing the same like this came out yet not unless if they go directly to legit institution regulated by government since if those platforms does not have any legal basis nor documents then its a big red flag since its a big scam.

We should be vigilant just like normal days since on BS didn't select on what is the status of the country and financially they just after to get money without leaving a mercy.

I don't know whether this is scam promote or not but just in overall, don't trust such websites. From the perspective of scams, current situation is good to launch scam fund rising projects and collect some money because of kind people that may become victim of it.
So people have to realize that they must ignore every random website, use only official fund rising channels if you really want to help.
For this, check local services... For example in my country Glovo and Visa united and money payed for delivery will be doubled and donated to those who need free food and some other basic needs.
So check, there will be a lot of services with similar donations, you'll bemefit yourself and also benefit others too.

What I know is that this is going to turn out to be a scam or it's already a scam. The covid19.insure website I checked isn't
1. HTTP secure
2. Asks for a minimum donation of 20$ in ETH which is already a big red flag to me because donations isn't meant to have minimum and the minimum should not even be as high as that amount there
3. No info about foundation team member and partnerships seems to be fake.

I can be wrong. But for me it's very similar to scam:
1. I don't see terms and comditions on the site. It's necessary if you want to accept payments. Even if it's a charity.
2. Who are the persons behind the site, the team?
3. Where are any reports? Who have got their help?

Frankly speaking, our complience would decline this site if they asked us for payment processing.
