It's a proof that Gavin is a fool. A dangerous fool. I won't listen to Gavin and Co. They have no credibility any more.
We may not care about what this idiot is doing or saying, that's right.

But that's not really the case for noobs as they are very sensitive for things like these.

The first thing that comes up in their mind when reading these articles is sell before it's too late.

They act first and do the thinking later. It's how noobs are. You can't do anything about it.

This gives a little more understanding on why he is trying so hard to fool people into believing he is satoshi, probably makes it easier to patient something if you can prove that you are the actual created it.

Still this guy is just making a joke of himself, i have no doubt that this guy is a fake.
The real Satoshi could prove himself if he wanted to and he would do it in a way so as there would be no confusion, PGP signing would be a good start.

What give him the right to ask patent when he hasn't even prove he is Satoshi.
Banks are in the losing battle and so they are going to take every dime thru blockchain.

Also even if they get patents. How will they sue a blockchain? It cant be stopped.

In last case the NASA should be the one to get patents because they used blockchain before to send and receive --interplanetary data- .

Craig Wright looks like a politician for me ( and a bad one), not the inventor of Bitcoin. Only his mum will believe he invented Bitcoin.

Has he moved any coins from Satoshis wallets?

Completely irrelevant, all he needs to do is convince a bunch of non tech people that he invented bitcoin. Which is why he's so dangerous. Ignorance is our societies worst enemy.

Last time he tried to do that, it failed. Even after gavin backed his claims. There's no reason why this one should be any different. If one person can convince a million ignorant users, then 10 people can do much better.

I am a non tech person with billions of dollars. Craig is sitting in my lap stroking my hair. I think he's Satoshi and I'm getting hard.

How should this man prove he's Satoshi? I could either believe him and hand over my billions, or I could check that interweb and learn there are things that will make it very hard to deny that it's him that can be carried out in a few seconds.

Nah. I like having him on my lap. Snuggle up, Craig.

So why didn't he patent blockchain tech in 2009 when he invented it?  Because he didn't.

Him seeking patents wouldn't be surprising, but it's likely a lie. Look at his quote in the Coindesk article:
Quote
"We have hundreds of patents and papers in progress – research from the beginning – and in the next year we’re going to start releasing them."

Ridiculus, right? Would you believe a single word coming from this guy? As I understand the article, there's just more proof that making people believe he's Satoshi was part of his bail out plan.

Who is this clown anyway? He claimed that he was Satoshi which wasn't true and that wasn't enough? Why he still keeps talking? Nobody gives a damn about what he thinks.

Very dangerous indeed. He only has to trick them into making them believe he is satoshi. Which he apparently is very good at. He had the vast majority fooled with his false proof last time.

The more I think about it the more bearish it seems.

That news and the second article (this "Satoshi Affair" thing) combined makes me think that he's going to take another shot at proving himself as satoshi again. If this is the case (even after he backed down before) then he'll get a lot of shit thrown at him. Wish he'd just stop and leave the whole bitcoinland. Even his face is annoying to look at now

I gave the whole thing a read the other night. It's rather hard to figure out what on Earth is going on. Convincing flashes are suddenly kicked away repeatedly. One thing I did leave with was the sense of Mr Wright being a very silly sausage.

He and his buddies are dangerous not only to bitcoin , but all cryptos. They'll want royalties for every use of blockchain tech they patent.
But hopefully the most important stuff is already prior art. Someone - like the foundation - should deal with patent offices and defend bitcoin, by asking for patent dismissal.

Indeed.. this guy is 100% owned by the banks in hopes they can get their slimy mits on it.. I'd have zero issue if someone like Ramsey Bolten paid him a visit.
