Yeah. Relatively speaking, that is.

Cryptsy can take hours. MtGox can take months.

For the most of us cryptsy is the better option.

^^^^ not for BTC withdrawals.....

craptsy don't have fiat.
Sure, but still...

Then, once or twice I've been transferring alt-coins in the midst of a 51% attack or with low network hash because it's not the most profitable anymore. I can't blame the exchange for lost or unconfirmed coins. In fact, I have some GLD unconfirmed for more than a month now, when it forked or a bug was "fixed" or whatever.

Except if an exchange is scamming/stealing, I have some tolerance for their problems

they take forever and if you're unlucky, your coins temporarily get lost in limbo. had to write a ticket but i got them back about 2 days later. maymbe try bter

bter is even worse... I withdrawed some coins 3 days and didn't get it until yesterday. and my balance shows I have 7k doge in order, but it's not there when I checked my orders. false hope, I tell ya.  Tongue

try coinex.pw

that's where I've been trading since I heard such bad things about cryptsy and coinedup I didn't want to try

had absolutely no problems with them yet.  responsive website (doesn't lag)

haven't had any transaction problems yet (1.5 weeks of working there)

it has less volume, but unless the word gets around it won't...

so give it a try...it's a pleasant experience.

also mine doge @ chunky pool.chunky.ms/doge

why not bitstamp?

it's one of the most popular exchangers Smiley

I lost a bunch because of markets suddenly disappearing, went from .8 BTC to less than .4
Other then that, they've worked perfectly in every other way  Cry

It might be slow to withdraw but you will eventually get the coins and it is the best place to trade lesser known coins.

I too have notice orders on cryptsy take some time to cancel also sell/buy orders trades list panel updates infrequently or lagged slightly.
Its all just growing pains, lots of transactions many coins pairs to trade between and many users. Give it time..

just give them some time, it doesn't matter if it's slow as long as you get where you wanted to go Smiley

All transactions take forever at cryptsy, both depositing and withdrawing.

Cancelling orders take forever as well. Unfortunately cryptsy is the only place to trade some currencies.

Asked for a BTC withdraw almost 2 hours ago and it don't even show at pending withdraws... (I confirmed the e-mail right after asking the withdraw)

This site is a joke...

All I ever hear about Cryptsy is that it is slow (probably hosted on a potato), which is precisely why I never signed up to it. I'm sure that it will show, eventually...
