I understand your idea but I think having a page of some sort where it shows in alphabetical order and the other is what it is right now. It's more like Home Page and Profile (I am sure you know what I mean).

I was expecting it to be an audio library, but the list is nice and your explanation is good.
I was expecting the same thing as you. I thought that it would be an audio library but it isn't what we were expecting. Although, I don't really use website like this to check the word if ever I forgot or came across a word that I haven't know yet. I also thought that it would be in alphabetical order and yet it is saved by the search function.

I think it is a good innovation if you can be able to achieve such but I know quite well that there is other website that carries a such formation of dictionary that contains anything that happened to be with the Bitcoin or cryptocurrency so I will advise you to gather more information and also make more research of it before you can be able to execute the functions of this. What really need in this community is something new and there's something that is what emulation some of us does not make adequate research, on something they want to execute.

I visit it and see some words in your dictionary appears at the first page, but they appear without any order.

Alphabetical order is a standard for any dictionary from A to Z.

You can refer to some big sites for their Cryptocurrency Glossary.

https://coinmarketcap.com/academy/glossary
https://www.coingecko.com/en/glossary

I see that too, the list doesnt seem to be in alphabetical order, its a bit confusing
to navigate TBH.

I see page numbers at the bottom of each page but ideally those pages should be
marked A to Z. It looks like the list of words is sorted by date as and when the
OP listed them
.

Its a great initiative by the OP in fairness and a lot of work done. Its interesting reading
but as above the navigation needs work.

Yeah sorry for not explaining. I want to do it a bit different than others. The idea is to 1: find a word you looking for but also discover new words you maybe didnt knew about. I chose to no do the a-z order to show new things. Instead I created a big search box which I think will be enough.

I think that's a  very good and creative initiative and it'll help a lot especially the young and new traders. It's hard to believe but the past teaching methods have became so boring and older for generation Z. They're in search of these kinds of platforms which can teach them in an way that they should feel boring.

The most interesting feature you've built is the creativity while learning which engages a user and doesn't let the interest to fade away. You can go ahead with the app I think it's pretty good. Having a pre launch user experience will help you a lot to improve the feature and build some more interesting dynamics of the business. Best of luck.

The website looks neat. I like the colour design and the general layout looks very easy to mavigate. The colour is good on the eyes.

As suggested, putting them into alphabetical order will make it easier to find, or better still list the most common ones first to catch the attention then others come alphabetical or by order of use.
My first observation when I opened the link was that the color was good to the eyes, meaning that you can read as much as you like without without any strain to your eyes, the color designs are good and to navigate through seems easy. I commend the OP for being very innovative in this project, and I'm wishing him all the best as he continues in it, the only input that I can make so far is the observation that many members have pointed out, being that he needs to arrange the search words in alphabetical order for easy identification. As you suggested, he can first put most common words used in the crypto space first, like hurdle, then others will follow in the order of alphabets.

It's certainly a good start. But, of course, there's still a bigger room for improvement. The crypto universe is quite wide, and if you intend to define the terms used within it, you'd end up with so many. After all, you're even defining terms used in gambling and altcoin projects. So, if there are terms and slangs used within the Ethereum ecosystem, there are also terms and slangs used within the Solana, Avalanche, Litecoin, Binance and other ecosystems.

Do you really have to define specific altcoin projects? I saw definitions of Solana, USDT, Uniswap, and so on. There are tens of thousands of them.

Also, I don't see the necessity of putting those social media buttons under every definition.

You have two different entries for "Non-Fungible Token" and two different entries for "NFT".

Oveall, I like the accuracy of the definitions. They don't show the lack of understanding that is typical of these dictionary projects.

Yeah I know man but that's exactly what I don't want to do haha. I want it to have some kind o timeline so people will also see new terms to learn. They will use the search form 90% of the time anyway. I want to have a bit more laidback then the forms things but thanks for the big site examples, I didnt even knew they also had it.

A good domain name, tells right away what the content of the site, It's already recommended that you make it alphabetical so I second that recommendation, although we have the internet to research terms about Cryptocurrency, it's still better to have it on one site, there are still thousands of terms that are not in your database but its a lot of work.
Better to install ads on the site or sponsorship so you can sustain the platform.

Please let me know what you guys think, im really positive about it and maybe you guys are the same or think: "Nah not a good idea". Please let me know Smiley

It is a great idea but apart from the crypto-related words you should also consider adding the origin of the words and the one who coined or invented that word like the word HODL, so far the only site that I know that index Crypto related terms is investopedia.com they always show up when I'm researching Cryptocurrency related terms.
If you can come out with a better one you'll get many returning visitors and people will bookmark your site, so kee it up.

Hi guys,

I've been working now for several months on a new project I came up with and I'm really eager to hear your opinions. I created (and still working on) a crypto dictionary website with a lower tone of voice behind it so more people will be able to understand crypto in a fun way.

I created all myself and I would love to know what you guys think of it and of course if you guys have and suggestions. I see a huge potential in this because I think this is one of the best ways to give people more information who are new to Bitcoin and all the coins around it.

The website is https://cryptodictionary.net where dictionary / glossary terms are being added with an easy description plus a use case in the form of a quote. To give you guys an example, I made a term for Bitcointalk since that's also one of the basic terms in crypto:

https://cryptodictionary.net/term/bitcointalk/

Please let me know what you guys think, im really positive about it and maybe you guys are the same or think: "Nah not a good idea". Please let me know Smiley
It is a good idea from what I have seen after being directed to the web page. There's still more work to be done if this crypto dictionary would bear a semblance to what the idea of a dictionary stands for.

I want to know if there's a means you plan to adopt so other people or a team of individuals who are well knowledgeable can add up some words and meaning to boost the quality and quantity of the dictionary contents.

Did you make this one? Youre good mate. Ive been searching some words related on crypto and it did show up. Even those bitcoin slang term and crypto slangs are there. You did a good product and hope you improve more on integrating more useful info there and also I suggest to make your dashboard or interface more alive in terms of texture, color and display, I just find it dull but nevertheless funvtionality is there.

You did a great job OP and the words are well explained. But I observed that the words are not arranged in alphabetical order which might make it difficult for a quick search. The website has a search option but dictionaries are naturally arranged alphabetically. I also advise that you keep updating the dictionary as you keep researching and discovering new words.

I was expecting it to be an audio library, but the list is nice and your explanation is good.
dictionary.net/# so I think you need to fix that.
Although several software can convert words to audio sounds it would be good to create an audio version of the dictionary. I have a visually impaired friend who told me that the crypto space is not friendly to them. He said no wallet can be operated by people like them. My excuse was that using wallets is very sensitive and risky that vision is a non-negotiable tool. An audio version of this dictionary would be of great use to special people like my friend.

You have great idea working on there and hopefully you can implement those suggestion made by people so that your planned cypto dictionary will succeed since this will be a big help for people who want to learn about crypto.

Also for sure if everything will be in order your dictionary will always been mentioned on discussions especially if there's no people asking for guidance and they want to learn something about crypto.

So good luck and wish you all the best for the project you want to create this is though job but for sure you can make it.

Nah, not a good idea!

Just kidding! It's good. Cheesy At first glance, I like the design. Clean, modern, unobtrusive... As Aeroplanino already mentioned, maybe you could consider sorting options for those terms, and maybe introduce some categorizations for those who don't know exactly what they are looking for.  By the way, is that "Browse" menu item for future use or what? It doesn't seem to be doing anything right now.

Challenges are one of the key factors to success, and what you need to know is that you have brought out a nice innovation that will go a long way to help many, especially newbies in crypto as well, so your dictionary should be of effective information that will not mislead someone to the wrong part, although some mistakes have been identified, and as seen in the thread, you have been given some suggestions that will help you get more information to add up to your dictionary. Although when I went through the site, I only saw 12 pages, which I was expecting to see more of, since the project is just starting, I encourage you to continue and finish it up because it will be very useful in the future.

Furthermore, creating something new deserves a higher level of knowledge in the aspects, which if you don’t have it, you are expected to go and get more knowledge about it. That will help you round up your project, and I will also like you to have an adequate review before you bring the project out to the public.
You should make sure you choose some higher-ranking and educated members in this forum or elsewhere that will make the final review before you put the project out to the public, but I will insist more on looking for those that will do the review in this forum because having knowledge doesn’t only mean the creation of a new achievement but also how your creation or invention impacts the public, so take your time and do good work.
