Australia lost 3 wickets in pretty much quick succession. Now sitting on 136/3. Warner & Rogers gone, not looking good for them. I doubt they'll even match England's 1st innings result to be honest. The Australian's look battered, bruised, humiliated & ready to go home. A real lesson this is by England.

Edit - Australia now 138/4.

Now Australia trail by 244 runs with 10 wickets remaining.

Australia in second innings  87/0 in 18.4 overs - it looks like Australia may give good challenge to England in this test

No chance. They're still trailing and by the time they cover it they'll lose some wickets, it's just day 2, there are still 3 more days left in this game and  it'll be an easy peasy win for Eng. Aus can't win it, what they're trying to do is play extremely slow in order to push it for a draw but they won't be able to accomplish even that.

Australia are batting well today but they've still got 244 runs to chase before they're even level with England's first innings score. Even of Australia get another 500 runs England should still bat this out to victory. Australia have effectively lost the Ashes on that 1st innings. Awful performance that was & they'll be punished for it unless a miracle happens.

England lead by 216 with 6 wickets left to fall at the end of day 1. It really is insane what happened today. They should push on & get a lead of 350 at least imo.

The test is basically over already. Australia need to pray to the rain God's, it's literally the only chance they have of getting out with a draw.

lol before Zimbabwe beat New Zealand which was not expected now England beat Australia which is also unexpected strange things happening is cricket anything can happen that is why i dont bet on cricket

One should know we can't predict any thing in cricket their are many examples that first innings nothing and they perform good in second innings and still manage to win the matches. So if Australia play their best second innings then still they can do the magic but it is quite difficult.

As of now England got a good chance to beat Australia.

for sure england will beat australia, i dont know about cricket but i try give my prediction Cheesy

Australia will win the match that from my side Smiley

I think this match Australia may win this match  Huh

I truly hope you boys didn't put any money on Aussies LOL.

I am glad I didn't but should've put some on England but I missed it and now the odds are not worth it and they were close to 3 before the Match  Undecided I put some bits on Smith and he got out for 6 and I have some on Root, let's see if he can bring some of my money back.

Wow this is horrible. Luckily I didn't bet any thing on this match. Because I knew any thing can happen and also worried about whether may play a part. Now England is leading by 52 runs with 7 wickets remaining in the 1st innings in first day.

These are the fantastic numbers and let's hope England will keep their form in second innings also. Undecided

Anderson is a big loss for England, he's their best bowler in my opinion. Hopefully we get a good, exciting, closely fought match. Hopefully lots of wickets & some poor batting, it's always more exciting that way.

Weather has been rainy in England the last few says, hopefully we get good weather today to avoid any interruptions in play.

England, who chose to field

It was one of the worst day in Australia's cricket test history. Australia - all out for 60 in just 18.3 overs

60 Australia's score in the first innings, their seventh-lowest score in Test history, and their second-lowest in the last 79 years. The only time they were bowled out for less in this period was against South Africa - 47, in Cape Town, 2011.

SCJ Broad took 8 wickets.

England 15/0 in 4.1 overs and I think they will do much better than Australia.

Just seen the score buddy, what in the hell happened? I can't believe it, never seen anything like this happen to an Australian team. England should bat out the rest of today & tomorrow to create an unbeatable lead then bowl Australia out on day 3 & 4. Incredible scenes really.

Broad taking 8 wickets in one innings is insane too.

England will win the toss and Australia will win the match that from my side Smiley

jimmy anderson will not play this match this is confirmed Mark Wood might take his place

I think it will be a draw but it's just a wild guess, Ashes this season hasn't been easy to predict but that been said I don't think it will be an easy win for any of the sides like last 2 matches were, last one for england and the previous from that for Australia and which is why I think it might end up in a draw or England might win again.

England vs Australia 4th Test is again going to be played on a wicket that favours the fast bowlers. England have made two changes in the squad and Australia is going to play the same team that gave them the victory in second test.

I think this match Australia may win this match  Huh

When is the Ashes 4th test between England & Australia? Must be soon! I've really enjoyed the series so far, seems to just have something extra over other rivalries (ENG vs AUS). I'm not going to be making any bold predictions this time though as I was totally wrong the last time predicting a 4-1 AUS series win.

Australia vs England 4th test is on 06 Aug 2015. 4th Test is now going to be even more exciting. No one expected the host team to make such an amazing comeback in 3rd test. They won the third test so comfortably beating the world champions that now everyone counting them as a better team in this 2015 Ashes series.

Any guess who will win the 4th test?

Ahhh cool, glad it starts tomorrow. I work from home so enjoy watching it whilst I'm working. As far as me predicting the outcome of the 4th test I literally have no idea, I was wrong last time so I'm not going to bother trying.

Is Jimmy Anderson injured? I'm sure I something saying he could miss the 4th test. If he is injured that could negatively impact England's chances, possibly!

Now Zimbabwe 129 for 5 in 29 overs. It looks they may not even cross 250 mark. If that is correct then it will be a easy win for New Zealand

it was pretty easy from the start minows like Zimbabwea sadly faced a wall of competition and New Zealand are on the top of their game mate Cheesy

Yes your right. New Zealand should have won first match easily but this is common in cricket. We can't predict any thing.

Now New Zealand need 45 runs in 88 balls to win this second match

New Zealand won 2nd match by 10 wickets (with 46 balls remaining). In first match Zimbabwea was lucky to win but in second match with out any wicket loss New Zealand chased their target.

yes that is what i was trying to say you dont got lucky everyday yes i know they win againest india and india is verry stronge team right now but that was also their luck good players was not playing and last match was also luck, lets see

Zimbabwe v New Zealand at Harare, Aug 2, 2015 - 1st ODI - Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to field

Now - New Zealand 171/2 in 35.5 overs.

Surely New Zealand will win this match

Thats for sure with this New Zealand status i can bet with any one any ammount that new zealand gonna win this match because zimbabwe cant even get near, BTW yesterday was pakistan vs sri lanka match what happend there ?

All our predictions went wrong. Cricket is quite difficult to guess the results.

Zimbabwe won by 7 wickets. Craig Ervine came up with a terrific unbeaten 130 to help Zimbabwe across the finish line.
Not surprised zimbabwe won, they can win of india. I dont know much about cricket. But i will keep my eyes on this thread because i like mlb match and i want to know about cricket. Maybe i can learn when i read your post about cricket match

you dont know much about cricket that is why you are saying you are not surprised because i was in shock when i 1st knew the news that zimbabwe beat new zealand because cant win from ireland who they gonna win from new zealand but yea they can improve and looks like the did
